                      Jessie ware -wildest moments lyrics

You and I, bloodline,
We come together every time
Two wrongs, no rights,
We lose ourselves at night

From the outside, from the outside,
Everyone must be wondering why we try,
Why do we try

Baby in our wildest moments,
We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest,
Baby in our wildest moments,
We could be the worst of all
Baby in our wildest moments,
We could be the greatest, we could be the greatest,
Baby in our wildest moments,
We could be the worst of all

Rough Day Ahead

You wake up face down on the pavement.

You call Suicide Prevention and they put you on hold.

Your birthday cake collapses from the weight of the candles.

You turn on the news and they're showing emergency routes out of the city.

Your twin forgot your birthday.

You wake up and discover your waterbed broke and then realize that you don't have a waterbed.

Your car horn goes off accidentally and remains stuck as you follow a group of Hell's Angels on the interstate.

Your wife wakes up feeling amorous and you have a headache.

The bird singing outside your window is a buzzard.

You wake up and your braces are locked together.

Your blind date turns out to be your ex-wife.

Your income tax check bounces.

You put both contacts lenses in the same eye.

Your wife says, "Good morning, Bill," and your name is George.

Hi Satish, I recently saw the tamil movie "Autograph" after a long time...
and to tell you the truth, the main character of the movie reminded me so much of you and your writings here...
esp. in that first song "Nyabagam Varudhe", where the man goes into an emotional flashback of his childhood days...
and he recollects smoking his first cigarette, narrating his first love, growing his first moustache...
I was like...hhmmm, this song suits Satish so much!!😳

So in fond reference to this movie, I would like to dedicate another song from this film to you.
Hope you like it.

"Vaseegara" - Instrumental version

Very nice piece to listen to...for the ears, heart and soul!
I was deeply moved by the piano and flute fusion - it brought out tears...
very soothing and subtle to listen to again and again and again...

Who could forget how detrimental the song picturisation was for "Vaseegara" in "Minnale"?

I know I felt hugely disappointed, angered and cheated by watching their weird dance moves for this song.
Pole-dancing, animal crawling moves, shower scene, magnification of Madhavan's bare back...
I don't think I was so repulsed by such a beautiful song until I saw "Vaseegara".
I still can't get over it...
I seriously think someone got confused between love and lust here...

But the song alone is beatiful to listen to...Thamarai's sensuous lyrics...Bombay Jayashree's sensuous voice more than compensated for Reema Sen's whatever. (no offence to you, Reema).

Still...the instrumental version is my new favourite...
it's emotional and subtle...it can truly move one to tears...
and it can even be a baby's lullaby too.

Some deem I'm gentle, some I'm kind:
It may be so,--I cannot say.
I know I have a simple mind
And see things in a simple way;
And like a child I love to play.

I love to toy with pretty words
And syllable them into rhyme;
To make them sing like sunny birds
In happy droves with silver chime,
In dulcet groves in summer time.

I pray, with hair more white than grey,
And second childhood coming on,
That yet with wonderment I may
See life as in its lucent dawn,
And be by beauty so beguiled
I'll sing as sings a child.

Last Word To Childhood

Ice-cold fear has slowly decreased
As my bones have grown, my height increased.
Though I shiver in snow of dreams, I shall never
Freeze again in a noonday terror.

I shall never break, my sinews crumble
As God-the-headmaster's fingers fumble
At the other side of unopening doors
Which I watch for a hundred thousand years.

I shall never feel my thin blood leak
While darkness stretches a paw to strike
Or Nothing beats an approaching drum
Behind my back in a silent room.

I shall never, alone, meet the end of my world
At the bend of a path, the turn of a wall:
Never, or once more only, and
That will be once and an end of end.
