TOI - Jhalak Dikhlaja 6 - Shweta tiwari mentioned

The casting for season six of Colors' dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, is already underway, even as the channel is busy preparing for the launch of the show's Bangla version.

We have been informed by our sources that the upcoming season may see actresses Drashti Dhami (who plays Madhubala in Colors' Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon) and Sanaya Irani as contestants. Says the source, "The channel has approached Shweta Tiwari, too. Sanaya and Drashti have shown keen interest in the show. The makers are trying their best to rope in popular faces from television. They have also approached Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee and Karan Kundra, who shot to fame with Kitani Mohabbat Hai, for the show." While Manoj, Drashti and Sanaya didn't revert to our text message, Shweta feigned ignorance. "Nobody called me as yet. I don't even know," she said.

The show, 'Jhalak dikhlaja' is the show in which the celebs who are not so good at dancing participates. And Shweta is a very good dancer indeed. 🤔

Hmm, I don't know anyone of them you mentioned. But if they were good dancers and participated. Then Shweta ka bhi haq banta hai. 😉
Let's see what happens... agar Shweta hui toh aapke toh maze ho jaayengai. 😆 Last Shweta participated in a dance show was Nachh Baliye, right? 🤔

And kya pata, show makers ko un participants ke baare mein na pata ho... that they are good. 🤔
Aur Shewta ko toh poori dunya jaanti hai. 😛 😉

Shweta nay last time Nach baliye mei particiapte kia tha jo usko woh apnay husband ki waja say chorna par gaya tha.. nd uska husband acha dancer bhi nahi tha isilye jitnay marks woh deserve karti thi usko woh bhi nahi milte the.. jst coz Raja was'nt a good dancer.. bt Jhalak mei toh Shweta chreographer k sath hogi.. nd judge bhi Shweta ko only us ki dancing per hi kia jayega..😛 nd Shweta nay isi show kz 2nd Season host kia hua hai bt is mei kabhi participate nahi kia.. aur mai iskay 2nd Season say hi usko is show as a participant dekhna chahta tha coz i really love her dance nd She is a damn damn good dancer.. uskay dance ki tareef Saroj khan nay bhi Nach baliye mei boht ki thi.. agr woh JHalak mei aa gayi den mai waqae pagal ho jayunga..🤪 nd uskay jeetnay k chances bhi boht hongay..☺️ Edited by Faraan_4_Shweta - 11 years ago

I have not seen Shweta in Nach Baliye...but she is a terrific dancer.

But personally, I dont have liking towards reality shows having celebrity. I find it very scripted. And votes and scores are never apt for the performance. So I would not want to see Shweta in a reality show again.0„2

@BOLD: Yep! All are scripted and me too not a big fan of voting system. 😆 marks ka mujhe nahi pata as main toh apni he judging karta hun. Pata nahi chalta kis ne kya ghalti ki. Sab he achha dance karte hain. 😆 Haan, sirf silly mistakes catch karta hun. 😆
