Rules & Regulations
Hello Dear Chhan Chhan Forum Members!🤗
As
you all are aware, the Chhan Chhan section will be a fun and exciting
forum with hopefully lots of different fans and members present and
somewhere along the line, certain situations will crop up where Rules
will be needed to avoid fights, and keep the forum calm and peaceful.
So, here we are with just those!

Development Team: As you can see, the Development Team of CC consists of two Moderators |Persephone| and Sano88.
If you have any issue regarding the DT, please first contact the moderators, and then the Channel Moderator. The chain in which your
questions and queries have to be PMed is as follows: |Persephone|
(Moderator) or Sano88 (Moderator) and then -Ravjot- (Channel Moderator). Only escalate issues to the Global Moderators as a last resort. We both promise to reply back to PMs as soon and as
efficiently as we can. Furthermore, no open forum topics that question moderation will be entertained and shall be closed and/or deleted promptly!
Written and Video Updates: Written
Updates and Video Updates will be provided by members who
sign-up/volunteer to do them. It is requested that there be no topics
asking for Written Updates/Video Updates because it could be that the
Updaters live in a different time zone and update according to their
time zone or had a last minute glitch that prevented a timely update.
Updaters put a lot of effort into their work and so it would be awesome
if you guys could appreciate their work by posting a reply, and 'Liking'
their updates.
Sanaya Irani and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon: Honestly,
whatever happened in that forum, with any members, it is in the past.
There will also not be allowed any sort of comparisons between the two
shows, or forums or the moderation/rules of the forums. We, in Chhan
Chhan, don't care about who hated who, who didn't get along with who,
who the troublemakers were, what happened in that forum, etc. This is
the Chhan Chhan forum, not the IPPKND forum, so keep the enmity aside
and come to this forum with a clean slate.
Barun Sobti, IPKKND, ArHi, Sarun: NO
TALKING ABOUT THEM. The IPKKND Forum is STILL open for anyone who would
like to discuss Sanaya's previous show and co-star. But Barun is NOT a
part of this show, so keep him out of it.
Criticism v/s Bashing: Criticism
is WELCOME. You don't like the show, sure, state it but state WHY, and
don't try to instigate members against the show. Bashing will NOT be
tolerated in this forum in any case. We as the DT are very lenient in
terms of our members but the moment a thread about criticism is turned
into bashing, it will not be appreciated. Bashing
and making personal attacks against any
actor/actress/CVs/members/characters etc. is not allowed. A critic is
one who discusses things in perspective, never loses objectivity and
states things in a logical and constructive way. But a basher is one,
who states the points a bit too heavily such that, it no longer looks
like criticism but looks like a total attack. Everyone have their own
point of view let's respect it. You have right to raise your opinion but
one should see lines ain't crossed. Avoid making posts that are
abusive, derogatory, insulting or sarcastic enough to affect the
sentiment of another member. This is against IF COC and won't be
tolerated.
Facebook, Twitter, MSN Fights: DO
NOT BRING THEM TO INDIA-FORUMS. If you happen to get into a fight with a
member of I-F OUTSIDE of I-F then DO NOT bring that fight into
India-Forums or this forum because we as Moderators can't do anything
about it.
Opinions & Name-calling: It
is ALRIGHT if your opinion differs from your friends, or for that case,
any other member of the forum but that does NOT give you the right to
call them names and make fun of them or mock them for
their favorites and opinions. Name calling will NOT be tolerated at any
level.
Reporting Topics: If
you come across a topic that goes against CC Forum rules and I-F CoC,
please report the topic by clicking on the 'Report' button or PM
|Persephone| or Sano88. Do not reply back into the topic, because it may
lead to arguments and fights. And if there are arguments happening,
every member will be looked into, regardless of whether you were trying
to do the right thing. However, please be patient and give us up to 24
hours to deal with any reports and issues.
New Members: CC
is a forum where New Members are always accepted, with open arms. If
you are a new member/silent member, don't be afraid, open a topic and
introduce yourself! We'd love to hear from you, what you think about the
show, the characters, the members and even the forum! And remember,
everyone is welcome. Also, senior members, please refrain from
discriminating against newbies!
Fan Fictions & Video Mixes: Creativity
is always welcome. Are you a Fan-Fic writer? Or a VMixer, post your
creations, stories and create your own little Chhan Chhan shops! But
don't forget, always post the links to your VMs and FFs in the
respective VM and FF corner so your readers/viewers can keep a track of
all the amazing fics you write or/and VMs you make.😉
Problems with the Dev Team: Have
problems with the Dev Team? Well, then come to us, please PM us and let
us know! We DT members are not biased towards any fan group but that
does not mean we aren't fans of the leads or any other characters in CC.
We have opinions too, about the show, and what improvements we might
want to see in the show. But that does not make us biased. Once a
problem is reported, it is the DT's worry and responsibility to deal
with the problem, and just because someone is not aware of what is
happening to the topics they reported, it does not mean that we are not
doing anything to stop/help. If you have questions, and queries that
you'd like us to answer, please PM us. We'd be happy to look into it. As a reminder,
we, the DT, are also forum members and the no bashing rule applies to
us as well. If you have problems with the DT, please first talk to us,
and if you don't think that resolved the issues, then escalate it up the
chain. No bashing on the forum will be tolerated.
Appreciation Threads: Yes, appreciation threads are allowed, but no bashing is allowed in those threads and please ask the DT permission before
opening the threads. The only condition we ask for in the threads is
that an active member has to start the appreciation threads and collect
all the needed, siggies, videos etc and member names of that
Appreciation thread. If you are an AT admin and become inactive in that
AT or the ChCh forum, the DT reserves the right to appoint someone else
in your stead.
Language: Please
try not to use the bad words and yes, we all know what those are. Using
'W*F, WTH, What the Fish, BS' is not allowed so please don't try to
find a way around it. I-F and CC is a forum where we have members of all
ages come and to try to catch up on their favorite shows. No, it might
not be members themselves but visitors who might feel discouraged from
joining I-F after seeing the language used.
Birthday Threads & Congratulatory Posts: Birthday
threads and Congratulatory posts are allowed to be posted in the CC
forum seeing if the member is a member of the CC forum. (Was that
confusing or what?). Anyways, the Birthday Threads can be PMed to the
Dev Team members, so they can sticky it in the forum for a while ONLY if
there is room. Sometimes there might not be room for the Dev Team to
add another sticky as it is mandatory for enough topics for discussion
to be present on the front page of the forum.
Repeated Topics: If
someone has already posted a topic which shares similar views to what
you have to say, please do not create a whole new topic. Instead reply
in the thread the other member created first. That way the forum will be
neat and clean and there won't be multiple topics floating around.
Also,
any rules that are a part of the overall IF COC will also be enforced,
even though they may not have been specifically outlined here.
We
are not here to make your lives hard, we are just here to sort
everything out and make Chhan Chhan a clean, fun forum for all its
visitors and members.
