FIR - Mar 2, 2013, Episode 885, "Kachaudi Gang"
The Quartet mourn CC's departure -
Gopi laments that Chandramukhi is gone. BP comes in singing - Naa mujhe na ab yaad aa.
Gulgule tries to make BP accept the reality of CC's departure with some really funny dialogs.
He says - 'Madam ke jaane ki vajeh se hamari khushiyon ka tambu ukhad chuka hai. Hamare ghum ka papad bhun chuka hai. Dard ka doodh phat chuka hai aur sukh ka halwa hamare saamne se hat chuka hai!' [In English - "Due to Madam's departure, the tent of our happiness is uprooted. The crepe of our sorrow is toasted. The milk of our despair has spoiled and the sweet dish of happiness has been removed from in front of us." So true...]. BP, GG, Gopi and Billu decide that they must continue to solve cases to honor CC's memory.
Case Enters -
Two females enter moaning that they are ruined. It's a mother-daughter pair. They had come from
Barabanki to Raavanpur for the daughter's engagement but two people looted their valuables.The daughter introduces herself as Billauti Shivhare (Sapna Sikarwar) and the mother is Raamsakhi Shivhare (Manju Joshi). Billu immediately introduces himself as Billu (to Billauti) and a sweet-romantic look is exchanged.They say they had come for the engagement but the groom's side fed them kachaudi which made them sleep and then robbed them of their jewelry. [It's a whole another matter that they are still wearing plenty of jewelry]. BP asks for the manager of the place where they were getting engaged to be brought in for questioning.
The Manager's Interrogation -
The manager of "Dulha Dulhan Hall" in chowki. [This guy is always hilarious when he plays a Bengali (a person from West Bengal), speaking hindi with a Bangaali accent]. He introduces himself as Chaalu Baangali and says that he has "ek biwi, aath saali" (one wife, eight sisters-in-law). At this Billu points out that while Chalu has eight saalis, he doesn't have a wife or even a girlfriend. At this, GG consoles Billu that soon he will get married and eat pulaao (a rice dish) and for that, Billu should 'bulaao' (call) GG also for eating that. BP reminds them that a case is going on and enough with planning for the future. After checking register, Chaalu says the guy who made the booking was called Lallu Lootera and that usne paisa bhi naheen diya pura. The name is different from the name that was given to Billauti and Raamsakhi. BP decides that this kachaudi gang must be caught.
Billu delivers some happy news -
Billu enters the chowki and after some usual tomfoolery with Gopi and GG, he reveals that he has happy news. He is going to get married. The girl's family is going to come to the chowki tomorrow to see Billu. Billu is feeling nervous and GG and Gopi tell him not to be nervous. Billu doesn't know what to ask the girl. Gopi suggests to ask her that if her husband has two drinks and has fallen near the drain, will she be able to take care of it?!! GG's expression is priceless. Billu says that Gopi will get the marriage broken up even before Billu gets married. GG suggests to ask if she knows to make tea, cook food, clean up the place, do the dishes... At this Billu points out that he's trying to find a wife, not a kaamwali-bai. Billu decides he will manage alone. GG says everything will go well.
Billu's wife-to-be and family visit the chowki -
Girl, her father and mom and Commissioner are also at the chowki. Father says 'Ladke ko to bulaiye'. At this Billu enters and in extremely nervous manner offers them tea (the tray with the cups on them is shaking like crazy!). Commissioner praises Billu. Father's takiya kalaam is 'Pinky ke purse mein'. Pinky is the name of the Mom and her takiya kalaam is 'raajma bada achchha banaati hoon'. At this GG immediately talks about food. BP gets them back on track and asks if the girl and Billu want to ask each other anything. Her first question - does Billu know how to make tea? Second - what foods can he cook? Can he do housework? (Basically GG's suggestions from earlier). At this point, Billu forgets and becomes Shashi Kapoor. In Shashi Kapoor's style, he addresses the girl's mom and sings a song and dances with her. GG holds his ear to get him back. Dad says he can't get his daughter married to Billu when his own wife will be in danger from Billu's advances. Commissioner explains about Billu's condition. At this Dad suggests that Billu should forget the girl. They leave (with the Mom still acting coy with Billu). Billu laments the fact that his 'jeejaa' and 'jeenaa' 'donon hi bekaar hain'. BP suggests putting a matrimonial ad for Billu in the papers. At this point, Billauti (takiya kalaam is 'Daddy rajasthani hain') and her mom Raamsakhi (takiya kalaam is 'pallu ghuma ke') enter. Billu reminds them about how his marriage plans have just been ruined and leaves. Billauti feels sympathy for Billu cos her own wedding plans were also ruined when she was robbed.
Commissioner delivers some happy news -
Commissioner comes to the chowki. Billu standing in a corner crying and ignoring him. When Commissioner says there's a 'rishta' for Billu, Billu immediately gets excited and comes over to ask for more info. Girl, her father and her brother are coming over to the chowki. And they enter. The father (Naveen Bawa) whose takiya kalaam is 'kheen doonga zor se, Chintu uth gaya shor se. Her brother Gappu Ghussail whose takiya kalaam is 'seengh dhaardar hai' (Horns are sharp) introduces the girl as Katrina Kushwaha [there is of course a Katrina Kaif joke - you think GG will let go of an opportunity?]. The decision is to get engaged the very next day. Katrina's father suggests to them that the boy's family and guests should wear lots of gold jewelry for the ceremony since the girls guests are rich. At this, Billu says that even though his brother-in-law, the Commissioner looks like a 'uthai-gira, leechad, kaainya, ghatiya' person but he has plenty of money hidden and that they will come wearing lots of gold jewelry.
Billu's engagement to Katrina -
Billu getting engaged. Even GG & Gopi are wearing gold jewelry. BP comes in and sings a song. Gappu Ghussail beats up a guest who was refusing to drink the 'sharbat' since it's a family tradition that guests drink 'sharbat'. Everybody drinks sharbat, and falls over asleep. Gopi says a cute 'mummyji' before falling asleep. Katrina, brother Gappu and father start taking their gold jewelry off the guests.
The day after the failed engagement -
Outside the chowki, GG, Gopi, Billu, Commissioner and BP are bemoaning the robbery. BP says he has their picture on his mobile phone. Billauti and Raamsakhi come there and recognize the people as being the same. Billauti and her mom are sad about the broken marriage.
Billu's trip to suicide hill -
Billu on a hill (basically just some stone boulders on top of each other) says that he wants to commit suicide. Billauti also comes there and says how sad she is. Turns out she's there to commit suicide too. They jump but land atop a bus. Billu and Billauti get to know each other atop the bus. Bus stops at Chameli ka Dhaba. Where from the bus alight Katrina, brother Gappu and her Dad - the robbers who had looted Billu and also Billauti. Billu and Billauti recognize them from the top of the bus. He makes a call using a huge Samsung Note phablet. At a checkpoint, BP stops the bus and arrests the three robbers. Billu and Billauti back on suicide hill. Billu says he will jump first cos he won't be able to see Billauti die. Billauti also says that she can't bear to see Billu die. They decide to live together instead of dying. However Billu slips and falls. He hangs onto a ledge asking for Billauti to pull him up. But suddenly he has another bhoola episode. And jumps of the ledge. But what's this... BP catches him in his arms. BP asks Billu to twist his ear and then tells Billu that if BP wasn't good at cricket and hadn't caught Billu, then Billu would've been clean-bowled. Billauti is very happy that Billu is safe.
Billu's marriage plans -
At the chowki, everybody is happy. Commissioner is happy that Billu's gotten a sweet innocent girl like Billauti and is even more happy that the girl's mother is so pretty and nice!! GG, Gopi and BP talk about how they had not anticipated that Billu and Billauti would end up together. They decide to have Billu and Billauti married next week!

I did miss CC during the episode. But not as much as we are now missing her. BP, GG, Gopi and Billu did an adequate job. It's just too bad that Aamir Ali had to leave for the Barjatya's TV show - Jhilmil Sitaron ka Aangan Hoga. I think he could have kept the episodes going without us having to do this leap and all the changes. Of course, this assumes that GG would have continued in FIR. GG in many ways keeps things moving. His consoling BP about CC's departure is moving and funny at the same time. ]
