OS- Sandhya Ka Suraj, Suraj Ki Sandhya

Sooraj was standing in a corner with his head down. Maasa was in her full sarcastic form , teasing the ladka gang how her beendini has managed to get the Haar from their chora with the Aankhon ka jaal. Other ladkas were looking at Sooraj and smiling. One of them was telling 

" Dadasa maine kaha tha naa Sooraj bhaiya Sandhya bhabi ke samne phisal jayenge. lekin apne na suni"

Even dadasa and Bhabasa didnt spare Sooraj. They told he had let them down and because of him ladkon ka gang lost the game.

Sooraj was silent. He didnt even raise his head. How could he. His beloved had played this game with him.

Sandhya looked at him. She wanted to run to him. Speak to him. Apologize to him. Wanted to tell him Maasa pressurized her so much that she had no other option. She couldnt see him like that. 

But before she could do anything everyone started chatting , other rasams of Shagun followed and both Bhabho and Maasa started ordering Sandhya around. Each time her eyes wanted to meet Sooraj , but he was averting his eyes. Soon food was served. Even when Sandhya went to serve food for Sooraj he didnt look up and again some of the ladka gang teased him " Sooraj bhaiya kyon nazar neeche rakhe ho. Agar aisa karthe jab har aapke paass tha tho hum jeeth jathe". Then they all laughed. Sandhya was pained more. 

Now the ladies were having food. Sandhya was in no mood to have food. How could she , when she had seen her Soorajji has eaten only a little and is in pain. She avoided the questions on food and if someone asked her whether she had food she just nodded. Everyone was in a happy mood and they didnt pester her also.

Sooraj was standing outside alone. He had felt something was wrong in the way Sandhya acted, but then her eyes were always mesmerizing. He was lost in thoughts when he heard Kamala Bhabhi's voice.

He turned and there Bhabhi was standing with a thali in her hand. Sooraj told he had food. Kamala bhabhi told " Sooraj ye tumhare liye nahin he, Sandhya ke liye hain, bechaari ne kuch nahi khaya hain, jo usne kiya wo maasa ke kehne par kiya, ye thali leke jaa, wo rasoyi mein beiti hui ro rahi hain. jaa apne haaton se use khana khila"

Whatever anger Sooraj was feeling evaporated the minute he heard Sandhya has not taken food and is crying. He took the thali from bhabhi's hand and rushed to kitchen.

There he saw her. Sitting with her head down and crying. He called Sandhyaji. Sandhya looked up and seeing him got up and next minute she was in his arms and crying like a child. 

" Soorajji maf kijiye. mere kaaran aaj aapko sabke samane sir jhukake khada rahana pada. mere paas aur koi chara nahin tha."

Sooraj placed the thali down " Sandhyaji vaise tho sab jaanthe hain mein aapka deewana hoon. aapki ankhen mere khosh uda lethe hain. jo hua so hua . jaane deejiye or khana khayiye. mein aapko khana khilatha hoon" They both sat in rasoi and Sooraj started giving food to  Sandhya.

Sandhya told Soorajji aapne bhi teek tarak se nahin khaya hain, lo mein apko khilathi hoon. Saying this she started feeding Sooraj. When he took the mouthful he looked at her adoringly and they both laughed. Once again they were Diya aur baati.
