I picked up quite a tan after being at the beach yesterday. It looked good. I thought to myself, as I stood in front of the mirror. I must say I had so much fun yesterday, I couldn't remember the last time I went to the beach; I was so wrapped up in my studies the last couple of months, I still had my fun, but the not as much as I always do. My studies are just really important to me now; I have to be extremely focused. I don't want anything to ruin my scholarship, but as soon as I'm done I'm going to make up for all the fun I missed.

I was stuck all alone at home tonight. Juhi was on a date with samar. They really hit it off yesterday. I was happy for her; her last boyfriend was a total jerk.

I lied on the couch after taking a relaxing shower and put on a facial mask. I flipped through the channels to find something to watch, I was deciding which movie to watch, the romance or the thriller when my phone vibrated next to me.
'Hello?'
'Hey gorges how are you?' It was yuvraj
'Hey you! I'm fine and you?'
'I'm bored. That's why I'm calling you.'
'Awe. You really know how to make a girl feel special.' I said sarcastically.
'Listen, we decided that you owe us something to do tonight.'
'Me? And why is that?'
'Your friend took samar  and now we're bored, he was going to take us to his father's beach house tonight. It would have been totally awesome, but now that's obviously not happening anymore. So…What are we doing tonight?'
'Uhm, okay…If you really want we could do something at my place or go out or something?'

'Good because we're at your door. Open up.
The line went dead. Then I heard yuvraj  loud laugh from outside. I hurried to the bathroom to wipe off my mask then got my keys and went to open the door.
'Hello…You're really here.'
'Well duh! Where else would we be?' yuvraj  said and walked in.'
'Hah…okay, make yourself at home guy's.' I said after all of them already barged in. 
They tried talking me into going out with them to where samar and Juhi were on a date, so we could spy on them, then I talked them into leaving those two alone…at least for now. So in the end we decided to go to a bar near the river. 

As we drove around to find a parking space, I noticed ranveer  car standing under a shading net next to the bar.
He was probably busy getting his date for the night drunk for "certain purposes".' 

I undid my safety belt and we headed to the entrance.
And what do you know? There was ranveer buying a group of girl's shots.

ranveer P.O.V

I picked up the red head at the bar and we left early to go have some fun at my house. I figured since I was moving back to my parents today, I might as well make an entrance.

Once the girl and I were done I called her a taxi and stood by the door to watch her leave. When the taxi drove off I turned around and walked into my father.

'Oh hey, didn't see you there.'
'ranveer. I'm selling the businesses.'
'What?' I thought I heard wrong.
'I'm selling. I got a few offers and I'm thinking of selling within a year or two. I just wanted to let you know.'
'Dad?! What are you thinking? I'm going to take over. It's what we were always planning on.'

'Then you lost track ranveer. I really wanted my son to continue my legacy, but that's obviously not happening. Look, I gave you a chance, I warned you so many times. This is it. I've had enough. I thought you could do it, but you just keep getting worse. Now you're moving in and out as you please and the moment you come back, this is what you show me?!' He pointed to where the girl got in the taxi just a few moments ago. 
'So you're doing this out of spite. Come on! Whatever I do with my personal life has nothing to do with work!'
'ranveer  this conversation is over.' He started walking away.
'Dad! This isn't right. It's all I've ever worked for. The reason I went to college and worked so damn hard! It was all for my future in the businesses!' He kept on walking; he didn't react to anything I said.

How could he do this to me? This was my future…

panchi  P.O.V

I came back from the bathroom and was on my way to the booth we were sitting at in the bar when I saw ranveer storming in and heading straight to the barman. He looked pissed, maybe he didn't get lucky with the girl he left with a while back.

I went to him to greet, not that I really wanted to, just because I was being polite.
'Hey ranveer' He turned his head to see who was talking to him.
'Are you still here with the guys? I need to talk to samar ' He replied.
'I'll call him.' I walked away. Was it really necessary to talk to me like that? I mean the least he could do was greet. The other day at the beach I actually started to think he could be nicer than I thought, but he just proved me wrong. He was an arrogant, full of it jerk.

'samar. Ranveer's back. He wants to talk to you.'

ranveerP.O.V

samar came up a few minutes later.
'Hey man, what's up?'
'My father took the fight to his head. Now he's being spiteful…He's selling.'
'Like, really selling?'
'Yep.' I took another shot.
'Hey man, maybe he's just being spiteful, like you said, he's probably just still mad.'
'Trust me, He was very serious. God dammit! This is all I wanted to do; it's all I've been working towards. I'm his only son for God's sake. Why does he want me to change so badly? He's such a…'

'Dude, I'm sorry for saying this, but, you really do overdo it sometimes.
'I thought you were my friend? Aren't you supposed to be on my side here?'
'I am, but to be honest; if I were him I'd probably do the same. You don't even try to change just a little bit. It might not be such a bad Idea man. The least you could do is pretend to give a damn about what your father wants, but you are so worried about your precious "fun". Why is it such a big deal? 
Dude, you deserved this. I'm sorry… '

Great now my best friend was turning against me. Just great. I stood up and walked out. I didn't need this. Not now.
