I made some observations about Indra's ethics
here, so won't repeat that here.
Glad to see Nandi back. It was funny seeing him upset over Parvati getting scared of the charging bull, and not recognizing him - our beloved champion crybaby is back ππ€£ From Kartikeya's remarks to him, it seems like he knew about Parvati's memory loss, so if he's still crying at Parvati not recognizing him, then it seems like in addition to Parvati, Nandi too underwent memory loss, and so maybe, the next couple of months could be dedicated by Mahadev in bringing him back his memory ππ
And glad to see Himavan & Menavati again. Incidentally, modak was something Parvati invented after marriage - once she got tired of kheer. So how is the pre-marital Parvati supposed to 'remember' about modak? But the timing of Dadhichi's passing is pretty unfortunate - he's no longer around to remind her about what she did in childhood. (Which brings up another killer question - as a kid too, she was obsessed about Mahadev. So even assuming that she's forgotten everything since her marriage to Mahadev, how could she have forgotten that pre-marital obsession that she had w/ Mahadev? Like the dumroo for starters?)
Finally, back to Jalandhar, I thought that his strategy was not to bring out the asura troops at all, to spare any bloodshed amongst them, and just take on Indra & the devas all by himself. In which case, why are there any asuras outdoors?
