This is such a wonderful piece!! I have always hated Ron-Hermione and Harry-Ginny pairing. I never understood how they ended up together! In the sixth book, Harry starts getting jealous of seeing Ginny with other boys out of nowhere. 😕 And what exactly did Hermione see in Ron? 😕Harry-Hermione are so perfect together. She was the one who stood by him no matter what whereas Ron abandoned Harry quite a few times (two to be exact...once in the 4th book and second time in the 7th book).
And yes many people feel that they have that brother-sister kind of a bond which is kind of true but only because Rowling never explored their relationship in terms of romance. If only instead of Ginny, Harry had started to feel something for Hermione in the sixth book. I know it's wishful thinking but still! *Sigh*
