Karthik & Vishnu coming out of the canteen with some usual Visnu comic comments. Lakshmi
calls Karthik & tells him to
inform Vishnu about evening 4 O clock meeting. Karthik suspects something amiss between the two , wants to know the reason for their tiff. Vishnu evades the subject. Karthik
insists. Vishnu comes out with Priya matter , Lakshmi angry with him as she saw
Vishnu kadalai poding with Priya. Now karthik gets chance to pull Vishnu's
legs – says it is indeed kadhal matter between him & Lakshmi. Vishnu denies saying his range is thani range , likes dames like Kaitarina kaif , Deepika Padukone etc etc.
Puli / Kattai in canteen . Joined by anbu mama . Reason for their venur shift is because their cabin occupied by Mumbai Party. Puli & kattai polambing about it. Anbu mama becomes Krishna paramathma - starts the Geethopadesam – " Nee ethai kondu vandhai izhappadharku" , adjust with what you have , cabin pochuna canteen is always there. Poor Madan who passes that way becomes their target. Mama izhuthu vachu teacing him Love Ilakkanam - Super singers selection madhiri super kadhali selection should start with short listing 30 girls , then roam around with 20 , further bring it down to 10 & 5 & finally marry the girl selected by the parents & settle down in life. Priya – Madhan neram. Madhan apologises for his avasarakudukkaithanam . Says Vishnu is a flirting type. So got bit annoyed when saw both of them talking. Frustrated & furious Priya pada padanu porinju talling – hello Madan you know your friend Vishnu , but what do you know of me? My sweet smiling conversation with everyone doesn't warranty a flirt tag. That is part & parcel of my job. Have to sport that plastic smile always whether like it or not, take all nasty comments with a pinch of salt , or else will be branded as ummana moonji receptionist. Have you any idea of the struggles , sufferings & miseries that lay buried under my smiling facade? An apologetic madan has just one question – why she got annoyed when he went to the canteen with manju. That , Priya mumbles , out of concern , out of concern for Madan that people's tongue should not wag behind his back. The same concern here too says Madan , apologises for the liberty & promises to be careful henceforth . A lovely smile adorns Priya's face.
Lakshmi wishes Karthi k & Raji deliberately avoiding Vishnu. Discusses a luncheon programme at some Thai restaurant. Raji is amused by the name. Asks about it. Vishnu teases saying you will get pambu pakoda , palli bajji dog curry etc etc. Raji gives a puking expression & says she is not game for it. Karthik clarifies telling that Vishnu is just pulling her legs. Vishnu says he would prefer Nair mess. But finally they decide on Thai restaurant. Lakshmi leaves promising to meet them at lunch time again ignoring Vishnu. Raji gets suspicious & asks Vishnu what is the problem between them. Vishnu in his own humorous way says Lakshmi is in love with him because kadhalars only adikkadi poding sandai like Karthik / Raji. Karthik glares at him. Karthik & Raji konja neram kadalai poding. Then Karthik notices the cursor in Raji's comp. Placed on junk mail. Cautions her. Irritated Raji tells she is not a fool to click on that. She knows too well the implications & asks Karthik to mind his business & not treat her like LKG kid. Again sandai. Vishnu , waiting for such an opportunity nakkala whispers into Karthik's ears – Machi this is definitely lovesthan.
The team except Kaushik is waiting in the canteen. Lakshmi says that Kaushik is acting like the boss. Vishnu has changed every body's mobile ring tones - all motivational songs. (athu sari, they need to finish a month's job in 3 days , ithunga enge seyya porathunga?? ) Finally Kaushik comes and says that they need to do a day's work in 2 hours. Kaushik asks Lakshmi to follow up with Sekhar - the IT guy. Lakshmi and Raji get laptops so that they can work from home. Vishnu asks THE Q "what if we do not finish?" Kaushik is categorical "namba team le irunthu Oruthat kaname pOiduvanga " Kaushik leaves. Raji and karthik keep smiling at each other ( yethu kku ppa sirikkaringa?? Unga pOzhaippu than sirippa sirikkarathe !! )
Sales team mOkkai - Puli and Kattai cry saying that even a data entry clerk gets more salary then them. Mohan comes wondering why he was called for a meeting. Puli and Kattai do a big bandha - "kaal kadisi?" Mohan says that he will gladly let them go "no need for any resignation letter, just leave " The trio retreat with their tails behind their legs.
The trio - Karthik, Raji and Vishnu - not at all serious about the situation. Lakshmi comes asking about IT guy and Vishnu says that no one has come. Lakshmi calls Sekhar and asks him to hurry up. Vishnu wants to know if Lakshmi has forgiven him . She says that since they have a bigger problem now, she will deal with him later. Marupadi karthik and Raji - yovvv, velai gaali aagara situation - kOnjal rOmba mukkiam?? Mathi mathi paarvai - Raji's mind voice "ivanai enakku rOmba pidikkuthe, enna seyya?"
Karthik gets ready for another peanut sprinkling session. Goes to Susan and tells her that he has ordered food for her - "unnai enakku pidikkum, athu enakku theriyum, unakku theriyum nnu enakku theriyum " happens - hayyoo, velai yai thavira ellam seyyaringa? Karthik asks Susan to chase IT dept - ama , Raji computer slow vaa irukke !!! After he comes out Vishnu comes laughing. "how do you manage to peanut sprinkle at two places in the same time?" Karthik side lines that and says that the IT Dept is not co-operating - "Kaushik is probably the reason? The IT guy has an axe to grind with kaushik?" As luck would have it , they see Kaushik and Sekhar of IT dept having a hearty laugh.

Vishnu and karthik - Vishnu says that he is excited about the trip. Karthik says that a trip to Mahabalipuram is not worth such excitement. Vishnu says that such trips can change one's life - goes on to talk about some girl expressing her love to him and also a kiss he gave to his uncle's daughter. Laughs and says that he got slippered by her and his dad grounded him. Karthik laughs and says that he admires the honesty. Raji walks in - suddenly Karthik becomes kadu kadu (Roja can not fathom this reaction !! Why does he always want to show the angry face when he is around Raji?) Well, Raji says that she cant make it to Mahabalipuram "my dad is coming and we are going to Thirupathi this week end " Not that Karthik is ready to buy that story nut Vishnu quips "velai kidaicha Raji kku mOttai adikkarennu vendi yiruppanga , athan " Knowing that Raji won't come for the trip Karthik becomes more kadu kadu.
Sales team mOkkai - Aandava, Yen da Roja vai pazhi vaangare ipdi? - Well, Anbu mama has some claims - Pogatha trip kku money kekkaraar- The accountant does a thorough checking and Anbu tries to dilly dally. The other two applaud mama's thilla langadi velai .
Canteen - ayyo, rOmba bore aa irukku - again the same "outing " issue - now Karthik says that he can not make it as well - Kula Deivam Kovil, Kappu Kattu blah blah. Before he joins the crowd Lakshmi says that Karthi also won't come because of Raji. But both Vishnu and Raji refute that. Vishnu says that his friend won't ditch him and Raji has that sly smile (this woman must have some sadistic tendency !!) Lakshmi says that they can go during the week days and Karthik says that the whole month is no no for him. Vishnu is very angry. Vishnu and Lakshmi are going somewhere - they see the security manning the reception . Vishnu as usual kids around and the security wants a private word with Vishnu. Well, turns out that his daughter has good marks and has joined an Engineering college - he needs 10, 000 rs. And says that he will return every month some amount. Vishnu gives his ATM card and gives the pin as well " draw the money yourself and no, it is not a loan " Lakshmi watches this from inside , smiles, security guard's mind voice singing "antha vanathai pOle manam padaicha mannavane " Vishnu walks away with his usual smile (Kanna, unakkaga, unakkaga MATTUM than Roja watches this serial , comedy serial nnu sOlli - Roja vai cheat panni- uh huh )
Next segment - Now Roja is confirmed that Raji is a sadist - other than the usual smiles (kind of getting stale - same smile all the time !!) To cut a long story short, after being bombarded by the Q "why are you not going , tell me the truth " from Raji , Karthik says that some one who is close to him is not going and if he went they will be upset. Raji does not need the help of Sherlock Holmes to decipher that 'some one " Finally Karthik asks " wont you be sad if I went with out you?" Raji says that she will kill him if he went alone " - now do you need any more proof for this sadism ?? If you are a good FRIEND, won't you want your friend to enjoy him /her self ?
