The episode begins with Prabhu introducing Akash to Gautam's family,he informs him of Ponam's alliance with Gautam.Akash is disheartened.
Gautam praises Ponam and both feed sweet to each other.Very soon Akash leaves from there.
The scene shifts and Akash is seen walking down to stairs,and having a flashback of all the recent happenings.
On the other hand,Ponam informs her friend that she is happy with the alliance because of her parent's happiness.
She calls Akash to ask him for forgiveness,because she was unable to talk to him when he came to their house.
When Akash picks the call,Gautam enters Ponam's room and ask her that whether she is happy or not,she says yes.Akash overhears this and is sad.He walks away from her house.
Further,Gautam thanks Ponam for coming in his life and choosing him as
her life partner.He acknowledges her for being supportive towards his parents.
In the living room,Ponam's mother is seen talking to Deepak,she informs
him about Ponam's relation with Gautam.He is very happy.
Gautam's father talks to Deepak in an indecent manner.
After the call ends,Deepak is worried for Ponam but his wife explains to him that since Gautam is a perfect match for Ponam,he should overlook his family.
Gautam and his family leave soon.
Ponam tries to call Akash but his phone is switched off.Deepak's wife calls her and congratulates her.
Deepak thanks Ponam for agreeing to marry and is sad for he is unable to do anything for his parents.Ponam asks him to book his tickets to India.
Deepak is tensed for he doesn't have the money to purchase the tickets.
At Akash's house,the grooms family enquires about Akash.His mother is worried for his careless attitude but his grandma explains to her that he is well aware of his responsibilities.
Akash soon arrives.
His mother brings Pratna down and informs the froom's family of her education and praises her for her talents in cooking,singing bhajn.
However,the family decides to leave.
On enquiring abt the reason,they say that since the bride's complextion is dark,they r not interested in the marriage.They were mislead because of her photo and parent's fair complextion.The whole family is shocked.
