Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed: Rubina Dilaik steps into Aamna Shariff's shoes
Our sources revealed that Rubina Dilaik who catapulted after appearing in vastly popular show Chhoti Bahu as lead Radhika will be seen in Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed as lead actor.
Incidentally, Aamna was almost finalized for the show but meanwhile Rubina hogged the media glare as the channel opted Chhoti Bahu at the last minute.
Actor Rubina Dilaik was last seen in Saas Bina Sasural, aired on Sony.
A source associated with the show said, "The channel finalised Rubina at the last minute." The new chapter of the show will have two female leads, Shrishty Rode and Rubina, along with Karan V Grover.
Ayaz Khan who was last appeared in Parichay-Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka is all set to play the parallel male lead.
According to Sumit Mittal, producer of the show, "Yes, Aamna was one of the strongest contenders for the role, but Rubina has bagged the role finally. We were anxious and cautious about selecting the artists who could be later known as the characters. So, after series of mock shoots and look tests, we have selected them."
