Ch-7
Location-At college.
All others go to the canteen while ela n sanju talk.
Ela- babes, now i think u have to befriend prithvi.
Sanju- What? What do u mean by 'Have to'? Is it a compulsion?
Ela- Yes, atleast do it for me..
Sanju- Par ela...
Ela- Dekh all of us are happy with him being in our group sirf tujhe hi problem hain us-se. You have to cope up wid him now. I dont know why u dislyk him, but i just know ki tu use jaakar congratulate karegi aur use aisa feel karayegi that u r okay wid him.
Sanju- Ela tujhe pata nahi hain woh mujhe...
Ela- I dont wanna know, dekh naya year start hua hai n i dont want any fights. If ure my bff, then u'll have to do this for me, n no more sarcasm. Right?
{ignore the bg}Sanju- Yup, but tujhe uski itni kya chinta hain?
Ela- mujhe uski nahi teri chinta hai. n u know na ab internship classes bhi uske saath hongi so ull have to befriend him. Aur vaise bhi i know you well, tu har waqt low feel karegi so better hai u be fine with him.
Sanju- Theek hain, but jus for my bff. Chal ab, dekhti hu main...
Location- canteen
Vinnie- Rgv, mere liye ek sandwich.
Sahil- Coffee chalegi.
Rohan- Muffin.
Rgv- oye rohan tu mere sath ayega, main kya saara samaan launga?
Varun- nahi, ill come wid u, achha prithvi tu kya lega?
Prithvi- umm... maybe a coffee.
Ela n sanju come. Sanju reluctant to go. ela pushes her.
sanju whispers- ela yeh karna zaroori hai?
Ela- haan hain. now go.
Varun- ela, sanju, achha hua tum aa gaye. kya loge?
Ela- mere aur sanju ke liye muffin. Right sanju?
Sanju- Nahi{lukin at ela angrily in a kiddish way} i'll go for a coffee.
Varun- as u wish. chal rgv, lets go.
they both go. All get seated. Sanju reluctantly goes to Prithvi.
She says- Congrats... Prithvi [in her sweetest ever tone]
She extends her hand.
Prithvi smiles and thus the sanvi first handshake.
He luks at her and says- Thankyou, thankyou very much.Am happy ki tumne mujhse theek se baat toh ki. and i think that we r frnds now, right?
Sanju thinking- ise kaise pata chala , i mean ki isne wohi sab kaha jo ela ne kaha. oh god ab kya karu.. frnd bana hi leti hu , lag toh theek thaak hi raha hain. but fir mujhe follow kyu kar raha tha?
Prithvi- Sanjana..!
Sanju- haan, umm.. haan ab hum frnds ban gaye hain. { fake smile}
varun n rgv come.
Rgv puts sanju's coffee near prithvi's seat as she is standing there.
So she has to sit beside him.
All talk to each other.
Sanju again thinks- But he also followed me na... no i think mujhe yeh baat bhul jaani chahiye vaise bhi mom used to say ki if we will keep thiking of the past then we will not be able to live our present nor think n plan for future. Yes!.mujhe prithvi ko dost bana lena chahiye. vaise bhi kaunsa boyfrnd bana rahi hu? Jo hoga dekha jaayega.. ab yeh itna bhi bura nahi hain.
She is disturbed by a phone call. it reads- DAD.
She recieves the phone call.
Sanju- hi aap kya kar rahe the?
after few seconds...
Sanju- what? no u cant do this. woh bhi abhi bata rahe ho. Not fare. Abhi toh laute the n again u have to...theek hain. bye.
She gets sad. Everyone asks her about it.
She says- dad... woh fir se ek hafte ke liye kaam se baahar jaa rahe hain. i mean i know unka kaam hain but this is not fare. Unhone mujhe abhi bataaya.
Prithvi- Sanjana, i know ki tumhe bura lag raha hoga because family ke bina rehna kise achha lagta hain but understand woh hamesha ke liye thodi na jaa rahe hain. he will return.
Vinnie- ya he's right!
Sanju- I know.. but ...theek hai.. ok now.. I think mujhe jaana chahiye, i'll help him out in packing n all. Vaise bhi aaj koi lecture nahi hai.Soo.. bye!
Ela- Sanju i'll cum too.
Sanju- No ela, i'll manage. bye!:-)
Location- At sanju home.
Dad- Sanju i promise ki next month no trips n all.
Sanju- Aapko yeh trip lagti hai, mujhe torture lagta hai.
Dad- i know tumhe fikar hoti hai that i travel so much but abhi hi toh mere ghoomne ke din hain [and laughs]
Sanju-Theek hai.
Bell rings.
Sanju opens the door.
Prithvi is there.
S- Tum yahan!
P- Woh actually ela ne tumhare liye kuchh bheja tha... some crossword book. Usne bola tumhe de du.
S- Kyu, woh khud kyu nahi aa sakti thi?
P- Bataata hu. Actually she's planning a get together at her house tonight so she had to prepare for it.
S- Ok.. but tum mujhe yeh dene ke liye yahan tak aaye?
Dad comes.
Dad- Oh hi prithvi!
S- Dad, u know him?
Dad- haa, aaj subah hi mila main prithvi se.
S- But kaise?
P- Wait wait... main batata hu. woh actually main tumhare ghar ke opposite waale house mein hi rah raha hu. So..
S- achha... what? I mean theek hain..{mixed emotions}
P- Vaise uncle have a nice trip.
Dad- Dekho beta ise bhi yeh trip hi lagta hain.
S- O.K.!!
P- ab main chalta hu, ghar ki haalat bahut kharab hain. Sametna padega!
Dad- Well i ve n idea! Why dont u help him sanju? I know he's in the same cllg too. Vaise bhi neighbours se dosti karke rahna chahiye!{he laughs n prithvi smiles while sanju fakes one.}
