The sixth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is here with 12 celebrity participants, who will put their best foot forward to fight it out against each other. This time around, not only will they use unconventional props, graphics and a video mapping technology, but also shoot at unusual outdoor locations. While Manish Paul and stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma will host the show, judges Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Karan Johar and Remo D'Souza will scrutinise the performances.
Says Madhuri, "It's great to see the celebrities grow as dancers. Some of them don't even have great dancing skills, but hone their talent gradually." Adds Karan, "While last time the focus was on humour and entertainment, this season, dance will be in the forefront." Says Remo, "Contestants will have to push their potential to the maximum limit as we set them up for an intensely competitive dance battle."
The participants include singer Shaan, actress Aarti Chhabria, TV faces like Meghna Malik, Siddharth Shukla, Ekta Kaul, Drashti Dhami, Eijaz Khan, Karanvir Bohra, Shweta Tiwari, Hollywood actress Lauren Gottlieb, comedian Suresh Menon and winners of another talent show, Sonali and Sumanth.
Cadbury Bournvita presents Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa launches tonight and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Colors.
