Shamskhan in his Mahal doing all the mad acting like he likes and wondering where his soldiers who went to meet Devidas are (Shams..you better get baby sitters for your soldiers because they have taken panga with Pratap now...unki toh band bajane wali hai!)
He receives news that Pratap discovered about Devidas and his deeds and he has told his father and hence Uday singh killed Devidas...Shamsy goes mad to berserk and announces that along with Uday Singh he will have Pratap's head too...(In you dreams, you big horrible-teethed Takla!!😡)
On this side Pratap is splashing his face, as if to wipe out the good memories with Devidas, how Devidas used to be so protective with him...and how he betrayed his country and how ultimately he was slained!
Jaywanta Rani comes and gives him cloth to wipe his face and tells him that today she saw pride in his father's eyes...Pratap says that but today he fell in his own eyes, considering how Devidas used to treat him...Jaywanta tells him that he kept aside his personal feelings for his country and that is what separates a good king from others..He has to fight for Mewad..this is his Karma and his identity!!! (I love her as mother...she doesnot molly coddle him..she knows his son and his abilities..and is polishing the diamond)
Udaysingh with his troops and they are preparing for stock of food for 3 years ...when he hears that Shamzy is coming...He tells everyone to stop the work ...and not be seen by Shamsy...Shamzy comes and Uday singh tells him that he did not inform him of coming...Shamzy blabbers some nonsense about it and laughs...Udaysingh tells him to come to the point...Shazy says that his two soldiers are lost in the jungle (So give them a map from the next time Shamzy...or better ..put them in prison, so that they wont get lost🤢) Uday singh retorts saying that if by going into the jungle they get lost, tell them not to go there...The animals of Mewad recognize their enemies (Taaliyan and Seetiyan for this dialogue!)😳
Shamzy again laughs and sees a wheat bag lying...he asks about it...Uday singh gives some vague answers..so Shamzy punctures the bag and wheat spills out...he asks Uday singh whether he is planning something against him...and then again laughs and leaves
Udaysingh says that Shamsy had not come to gather information on his lost soldiers...
Jaywanta is putting a red thread around a bangle...when Pratap enters and asks her what is she doing...She asks him has he not slept...Pratap tells her that he feels that something is wrong, there is fear in the atmosphere and that is not right...Jaywanta makes him lie in her lap and tells him that fear is sometimes good...the calamity is the truth and fear is a state of mind...we all will face the death before our death...and at that time do you know what do we say to death...Pratap answers not today...and she says yes and be assured that your loved ones will say that...Pratap says that what if Death doesnot listens to them...Jaywanta says that then they will become immortal...she tells him that this is your father's battle...there will be a time when there will a battle that will be yours, but not this time...and till that time comes, you need to see..without being tensed...Pratap says that then why are you tensed? is it your battle too?? Jaywanta gets serious hearing this...( A must watch scene between Mother and son...Awesome dialogues, Jaywanta comes across as such a strong matriarch, and yet she eases every doubts in Pratap's mind with soft hands of a mother!!)
Few people are gathered and they see a horse rider and then they discover it is Udai Singh..he tells all the Samants that Shamzy has discovered about their plans...and tells them to tell the their neighbouring states...he is informed that they have been informed but their troops would need few days to come...Uday singh says that this is bad news but if in the mean time if Shamzy attacks they will not run away from the battlefield...and if necessary they would go for Saanka...he then tells all the Samants to disperse before Shamzy smells something...
Jhundavat Tells him that he knows that he doesnot need to explain the meaning of Saanka but has he thought who would lead Mewad incase of their do or die in the war...UdaySingh is confident that Pratap can do it and Jhundavat can guide him...
Shamzy again in his mad acts...and wakes his sleeping soldiers and tells him that while they were sleeping their leader was awake in Rajput tent...he says that Uday singh is making plans to attack him and we need to demolish his plans quietly and then tells them to go and laughs again..(Pratap you come and kill this mad man RIGHT NOW!! he is getting on my nerves😡)
Precap: Jaywante telling Udaisingh that she will follow her Rajput Dharma..Udaisingh tells her to gather people for Jauhar...Sleeping Pratap is listening to this and gets determined to know the meaning of Jauhar!
