The iCouch Timeline (News, updates, partnerships and more)
In just about a month iCouch has seen more than 8000 downloads and 3500+ active chatters who chatted in more than 50 chat rooms generating 35000+ chats. iCouch was launched with Zee Cafe's major attraction- Grey's Anatomy. After that we went on to partner with MTV for Splitsvilla, where high point was the chat session with SherlynChopra. During Grey's first telecast, chatters could also see their chats on TV as a ticker. We are trying to bring in more partnered shows (as well as some non-partnered shows too) to keep the excitement going.
We closely listen to our users and one of our biggest advantage is engaging with them inside the chat room itself. And we take each feedback very seriously- iCouch is trying to build India's biggest TV community over mobile & the only way it is possible is to keep listening to our core & active users. I thought of creating a timeline of the events happened till now, will keep on updating this with latest updates:

(20 April 2013) Partnership with Zee Cafe for Grey's Anatomy launch

(28 Apr 2013) iCouch app gets launched on Google Play

(1 May 2013) Grey's Anatomy launch. Chat room goes live. 1600+ people participated.

(2 May 2013) iCouch trends on first page of Google Play

(7 May 2013) In One week (basically for about 10 hrs during with Chat room got opened) iCouch sees 10,000+ chats.

(13 May 2013) T20 chat room was opened without any partnership. App update contains- Chat in the color of team you are supporting, Get Orange/Purple caps for chatting, Win prizes, Read all old chats in history. Saw huge engagement.

(23 May 2013) iCouch is glad to have MTV on board. Splitsvilla becomes second partnered show.

(25 May 2013) Another major update with "Multiple Chat rooms" option and several other features.

(1 Jun 2013) Sherlyn Chopra chats in Splitsvilla chat room. Creates lot of buzz. Unofficial Jhalak Dikhlaja chat room sees 2000+ chats.

(2 Jun 2013) iCouch sees some awesome reviews on Google Play.

(11 Jun 2013) Major update: Enables Indian TV viewers to register from across the World. Smileys, tighter Twitter integration, free friend invites, Settings etc.
