Tim Omundson recently graced the set of Supernatural and both the cast and crew seem pretty psyched (pun intended) about his upcoming episode.
The Psych star will make his Supernatural debut in the Jan. 21 episode. Titled "First Born" and written by Robbie Thompson (Pac-Man Fever, Goodbye Stranger), the second installment following the midseason hiatus will feature the Father of Murder.Omundson will be playing Cain, the first son of Adam and Eve who decided to off his younger brother, Able. An early demon, Cain was the trainer of the Knights of Hell, according to E!. However, it remains to be seen if the killer is still up to his evil ways. Apparently Cain left the demon gig quite a long time ago after he seems to have fallen in love.
Although it is unknown whether or not Cain will use his demonic knowledge to help the Winchesters end Abaddon's (Alaina Huffman) bid for the throne, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will probably be glad to be dealing with a good old-fashioned demon considering they've had more than enough angels as of late. There are two things we know for sure about "First Born." First of all, Omundson will be sporting his hiatus beard in all its glory. Second, Dean will get to engage in an epic fight scene.
"Watching Jensen spend the last 9 hours shooting 1 fight scene written by [Robbie Thompson] on @cw_spn. Compleat [sic] and Total BadAssery!" Omundson during filming in early November.
"Supernatural" will return in January 2014 with the second half of Season 9 and the upcoming episode titles have been revealed. Actor Tim Omundson, who guest stars as Cain in Episode 11 titled "First Born," has teased the fans via Twitter about Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) having an intense fight scene.
Fans will have to patiently wait for the brand new episode to air to find out if Cain will be a friend or an enemy of the Winchester brothers. Tim Omundson will portray Cain, the first son of Adam and Eve who became the "Father of Murder" that trained the Knights of Hell during his early demon days.
In the E!Online Spoiler Chat report, love made Cain quit his evil doings but he could go back to his old self during his appearance in Episode 11 titled "First Born." Tim Omundson, 44, has been busy filming his part in the CW TV series but he was able to tease the fans about co-star Jensen Ackles' intense fight scene for the upcoming episode via Twitter last November.

"Watching Jensen spend the last 9 hours shooting 1 fight scene written by [Robbie Thompson] on @cw_spn. Compleat [sic] and Total BadAssery!" the "Psych" actor shared on his account @Omundson. Assistant director Kevin Parks claimed as well that Dean's fight sequence is one of the best in the entire "Supernatural" series, according to the Enstars report.
"Road Trip" is the first episode back after the midseason "hell-atus" and will air on Jan. 14. Picking up where "Holly Terror" left off, "Road Trip" will see Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and the newly re-graced Castiel (Misha Collins) team up with the King of Hell (Mark Sheppard) in order to try and save Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) from the angel that currently inhabits him.
It doesn't look like Gadreel is going to relinquish his new vessel without a fight, however, and it remains to be seen whether Sam will make it out of the ordeal unscathed. Even if he does, the hunter's sacrificial feelings from the premiere may come flooding back.
Episode 11 - "First Born"
The Winchester brothers will either be getting a new friend or a new foe in the form of Cain (Tim Omundson). The 'Father of Murder' trained the Knights of Hell and could be helpful in trying to put an end to Abaddon (Alaine Huffman), but Adam and Eve's eldest son has been out of the demon game for quite some time, according to E!.
Cain may not be the only new face in the game, however.
"Supernatural is great! What a blast I'm having directing this really cool episode with new characters we've never seen before," episode director John Badham.
Also, look out for one of Supernatural's most intense fight scenes ever.
