SUPERNATURAL 9X14 CAPTIVES :

So, after a break of nearly 20 days,
Supernatural is going to return with
Season 9, Episode 14 "The Captives"
on February 25th. It was a long
enough wait for fans as is. What
made it even more agonizing was the
synopsis of Episode 15 titled
"Thinman" revealed online which
marks the return of the Ghostfacers.
Yay!
The story
is of a ghost spotted in the
background of a selfie taken by a
teenage girl, who dies in unknown
circumstances.

The writer of Episode 15 spoke to
Examiner said, "A teenage girl (guest
star Ali Webb ) is killed and the final
selfie she took before the attack
shows a ghostly figure in the
background. Looking for something
to keep them busy, Dean ( Jensen
Ackles ) and Sam ( Jared Padalecki )
head to Washington to find the ghost.
While the two interview the girl's
mother, Betty (guest star Maria
Marlow), they are surprised when she
starts talking about cold spots and
fritzing. When they ask her about
bringing up paranormal signs, Betty
replies that the "supernaturalists"
who called earlier brought it up.
Enter Harry (guest star Travis Wester )
and Ed (guest star A.J. Buckley), the
famous supernaturalists."
The Ghostfacers were introduced
through web series as a spin-off to
the show. They have been a part of
four episodes before this - "Hell
House," "Ghostfacers," "It's a Terrible
Life" and "Hammer of the Gods." The
Executive Producer of the show,
Jeremy Carver had revealed to
Entertainment Weekly in December,
2013 about their return. He said, "I
think we can rest assured we'll be
seeing the return of The Ghostfacers.
They will be making a return in what
actually is a really fun and pretty
emotional episode."
Also, in other recent great news, the
CW has decided to renew
Supernatural for another season.
Padalecki shared his joy on Twitter
saying, "It's official! Supernatural will
be back for Season 10! Y'all did it!
WOOHOO!!! #Supernatural #
CWpickups," he added, "And, theres
already a season 10 storyline: Sam
and Dean check into a retirement
home, and NOT because it's
haunted! #toooldforthis!"

" Dean (Jensen Ackles) is frustrated
when he can't reach Crowley (Mark
Sheppard), who has promised to find
The First Blade. When Crowley finally
calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and
Dean, he tells them he fell off the
wagon and has been injecting human
blood and needs their help. To make
matters worse, he had a demon
(guest star Rebecca Marshall)
helping him find blood, but she sold
him out and told Abaddon that he
and the Winchesters were searching
for The First Blade. The brothers
need to find the blade before
Abaddon does, so they enlist the help
of a former member of the Men of
Letters (guest star Kavan Smith).
Meanwhile, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi
appears in a cameo role. Serge
Ladouceur directed the episode
written by Brad Buckner & Eugenie

The Ghostfacers are making a
comeback in "#Thinman," but the

rather just shoot them in the

When a teenage girl mysteriously
dies inside her locked bedroom, her
final selfie will hold an eerie clue to
solving her death. Sam (Jared
Padalecki) and Dean will head out to
Washington (sans Castiel) to take on
the case, but they soon learn that
Harry Spangler (Travis Wester) and
Ed Zeddmore (A.J. Buckley) are also
in town.
Last seen in season 4's "It's A
Terrible Life," the incompetent
paranormal enthusiasts have come a
long way since "Hell House" and
"Ghostfacers." While they may still
harbor a bit of a grudge towards the
Winchesters, their previous run-ins
with the brothers have equipped the
Facers with a new array of
knowledge, as well as the good
sense to carry a gun (even if it is a
tiny pistol).
