I have noticed that some of the guests are treated differently than others, and it is most visible in their seating arrangements.
From the guests I remember, SRK, Deepika, Ranveer, and Sonakshi were seated on special chairs next to Mithun. On the other hand, Prateik, Amyra, Arjun, and Huma (and I think some others from earlier episodes) were seated on the sofas with the contestants.
I think they should have been consistent with their seating, because there was no reason to put some of them separately. What have Ranveer, Sonakshi, and Deepika done to merit special treatment over someone like Prateik, who is Mithun's muh-bola nephew? I recall that in Dance ke Superkids, even Priyanka Chopra sat with the contestants. I can understand the special chair for SRK, or anyone else of similar stature, because they might be a distraction or somehow intimidating to contestants, but the differentiation between newcomers looked very odd to me.
Did anyone else notice this?
Edit: And today Farhan Akhtar sat with the judges... what even 😆
