Face Off (Part 2) aired Oct 28

Abhijeeet and Daya are shocked .Priyanka continues rattling saying that ACP is the culprit and we have proof and now Abhijeet cannot tell her anything. Abhijeet tells her to not talk nonsense. Daksh tells Abhijeet that what Priyanka is saying is all right as they now even have evidence. Abhijeet tells them to not talk about the proof. Priyanka says its wrong to hide evidence . Abhijeet tells her to do as he tells her as it is an order. He tells Daya they need to talk to ACP and get to the bottom of it.

Nakul and ACP Pradyuman are talking . Nakul says he is not able to believe that his dad belives in him and is happy to see him help him. ACP tells him he is his son and he can do anything for his family ( This is getting confusing as why did he shoot him at the same time) Right then Abhijeet and Daya come there and they are shocked hearing ACP saying that and pull out their guns . ACP goes and stands in front of Nakul and tells them both not to shoot. Nakul seeing the opportunity pushes ACP towards Daya and Abhijeet and he escapes. ACP asks them about the photo. ACP says he knows that DCP( they must have heard me as they specifically said this) is watching him and when Abhijeet called he knew that Abhijeet was watching him and knew that he was lieing. And that when Srini pointed the figure it just added to it. Abhijeet and Daya say that they believe he is innocent and are ready to do anything to save him. ACP tells them to leave as he has a big day with decisions to make the next day.He actually is crying ( i think this is the first of ACP crying and being emotional. I think it all has to do with the farewell)

There are chaos and riots everywhere. People are burning newspapers that contains ACP 's pictures. Abhi/Daya and ACP are in the jeep and its stopped by these people shouting ACP murdabad.Abhijeet and Daya try to stop but the crowd is just more agitated. ACP comes out and tells them that he has given his whole life to serve them and they are calling him desh drohi. People start to hit him. Abhijeet and daya end up having to shoot in the air to disperse the crowd.

Abhijeet goes to Anjalika and she asks about ACP. Abhijeet is like till now u hated him so why the concern all of a sudden. Anjalika says she was bitter against the ACP when she joined but when she saw how hard the ACP worked ( exactly folks he has been there for so long so he is great) her opinion has changed and she does not believe he could be a desh drohi. She shows him 2 bodies and says that they both have wounds and she has examined it and it is knife wounds that could be only done by professional person so now it cannot be ACP.

ACP goes to a house and Daya follows him. Nakul is talking to a guy( the room is all dark and they do not show him) and saying that their plans are all working out well and it is due to his( the unknown guy) help. Also now he has his father's help. ACP goes to the same house and knocks on the door. Nakul hides some stuff int he room and also tells the guy to hide. He then opens the door and they both talk. Daya is watching this and reporting back to Abhijeet. Someone with a dart shoots at Daya and he faints. They show someone standing over but again do not show his face. Abhijeet goes to ACP's house and asks for Daya. ACP says he does not know anything about Daya.

In the CID office Abhijeet is telling Priyanka, Fredricks and Daksh to search for Daya. They all leave teh CID bureau . ACP walks out of the office and comes and loads a gun . He thinks that he knows that what he is going to do is going to ruin his name that he has worked on so hard to make. He says who knows whether he will come back to this office and if his name will be cleared . He turns all the lights and walks out. ( I thought this was the end as this seemed to be like ACP bidding his farewell to his viewers . It was really sad the way he turned the lights out especially the last one where it was on CID) He walks to the car and then turns to the back seat and sees Daya( I thought he was going ot be shocked but he just had no surprise on his face) He calls Daksh and tells him to meet him in the docks. He tells him that Daya is with him and if he wants Daya to be safe he needs to come there. Daksh immediately calls Abhijeet and tells him all that ACP told him. Abhijeet tells him that they will also come to the docks.

Daksh comes to the docks and ACP is standing there with Daksh's body. Daksh cannot bear seeing Daya's body. ACP points a gun at Daksh. Abhijeet and Fredricks reach there and Abhijeet says sir which distracts ACP and he turns towards Abhijeet. Seeing the opportunity Daksh takes his gun out but the reflex of ACP ends up in ACP shooting Daksh( this is the end of daksh too. this was really a sad episode with farewell to ACP and DAksh). Abhijeet and Fredeicks got ot Daksh and when they turn they see ACP disappeared.

This is supposed to be continued and this makes way for Rajeev to come in. Its an interesting story but I just cannot bear to see my ACP Pradyuman go. I was so sad and actually I had gone to sleep the first time and today I caught the rerun and I am glad I watched it as if ACP did not come back I would have really been upset that I missed this episode. Its a very emotional epsiode for me and I hope that ACP Pradyuman comes back.

My first attempt in writing a short update, so pls. do bear with me. I have noticed that no one has yet posted an update yet, so I have taken the initiative to post an update.  :)

Short update

-We are shown the city of London, where Prad is. He is talking to a lady over the phone, who is in Mumbai. Prad wants to find someone named Digambo (not sure of the name).

-Mumbai: Nakul is dressed as a nurse. "She" enters the city hospital to kill Daksh. He tries to go into his room, but the officers initially don't allow him. But later, an officer is sent with the "nurse". Nakul then hits the officer.

-Nakul injects something into Daksh. At the same time, the CID team arrives at the hospital and enter Daksh's room. Nakul sees them and flees. Daya tries to follow him, but Nakul goes into the elevator and it closes. Daya goes thru the stairs and reaches the elevator to find a wig and a nurse costume. Daya puts the pieces of the puzzle together and figures out that Nakul was the "nurse" in disguise.

-Prithviraj tells DIG that Prad is in London. DIG says that he knew about that since he somehow found that out at the airport. Daya is sad to see that DIG knows Prad's whereabouts. Both Prithviraj and Daya say that Prad must have gone to London to do/find something important, but DIG thinks otherwise.

-London: Prad asks some indian people in london about Digambo, but everyone is scared and tell that Prad is a dangerous man (i don't know why). Anyway, Prad goes into a bar, orders a drink and sits beside an indian man. He asks the man about Digambo and the man gives Prad Digambo's address, with the condition that Prad does not mention the man's name.

-Prad goes and rings Digambo's door. We are shown a man opening the door....

That's all we are shown.

Last week, we were shown a man opening the door. It is infact Digando (that's his name!) Anyway, Prad asks for help from Digando. Digando says that what if he doesn't agree to help him - Prad says that he will tell the polive about his bad doings. Digando agrees and then Prad shows a photo of two white men sitting in a restaurant (through a window) Digando says that this place is in a caf. Prad says that the white man on the right of the photo is a terrorist and he wants to kill the white man. Digando takes Prad upstairs to a bedroom and asks him to wait for 5 minutes. Prad warns Digando to not do anything fishy. Digando goes down the stairs and immediately calls the police (911). 😡

Mumbai:

City Hospital - Daksh regains his consciousness and tries to speak to the doctor. He asks the doctor if any CID officer is here at the hospital and he asks for them. Bureau - The officers try to figure out who the girl was who was talking to Prad. They track down her telephone number, but find out that both her name and address are wrong on the phone application form. In addition, all her telephones are closed. Meanwhile, the doctor at the hospital calls the bureau and tell them about Daksh's request about meeting them. At the same time, Nakul taps into their phone and hears the doctor's call. There, Nakul thinks to himself that he must kill Daksh before he reveals anything to the officers.

London:

Police car arrives at Digambo's house. Digando tells them that a criminal has landed at his house and also tells them that Pradyuman (the criminal) from India has entered his house. Digando says that he has locked Prad in his house. Digando opens his house door and the police enter with their guns. They search for him everywhere in his house, but do not find any trace of Prad in the house. Digando is puzzled now 😕.

Mumbai:

CID officers arrive at the hospital. At Daksh's ward, some gas is coming out of the air conditioner (AC). It is actually a hazardous, poisonous gas. Daksh is now suffocating. The officers come in and take Daksh out of his ward room. The officers ask for the doctor, but Daksh asks them not to. He wants to tell them something important: he says that he did a wrong deed and deceived both CID and the country. This is the reason why Prad shot him because he found out that Daksh was doing a bad deed. In addition, he says that he told Nakul about the secrets. The officers want to know what secrets he told Nakul, but before he could say it, sadly, Daksh dies!!! 😭

London:

Prad is walking around London. He goes down into the subway station and then into a train. Prad is thinking that he has to see where the terrorist is and then he will take care of Digando. Prad says to himself that he has to kill the man from the photo (the terrorist). He reflects upon what Digando said about the "Caf". Prad wonders why he said that it was a caf, since everybody in London only refer to them as "pubs". He then looks at the photo carefully and then sees that half of the restaurant's name is missing ( that is the top half). He tries to form letters from the photo and then finally figures out that the name of the restaurant bar is "Caf Caf" . Prad leaves the subway and tries to hide in the crowd because he does not want to be caught by the police and so that no body recognizes him.

Mumbai:

Meanwhile, the CID officers figure out that Nakul was the one behind the poisonous gas. They try to figure out how Nakul went up the building and behind the AC. Priyanka (on top of the building) says that she didn't find any clue. Daya then suggests that maybe Nakul went up by climbing the pipe. ACP Prithviraj offers to go climb up the pipe. He climbs and then sort of slips but he eventually regains his composure. When Prithviraj reaches to the window of Daksh's ward room, he finds the poisonous bottle's seal near the AC. Prithviraj then orders the rest of the officers to see if they find the bottle down on the ground. Everyone searches and Daya finds a rubber cap. They conclude that it is the poisonous bottle's rubber cap. They also notice that there is something stuck to the cap and figure out that it is a piece of a tooth. They conclude that while Nakul was trying to open the bottle by his teeth, his tooth must have glued to the cap. Prithviraj says that this tooth of Nakul's will tell us Nakul's address and his whereabouts.

London:

Trafalgar Square - Prad comes upon an Indian man and the Indian man blabbers something about the pigeons, Amrish Puri and DDLJ. Anyway, Prad asks the man for help. The man says that he will have to pay: 1 pound for Trafalgar square, 5 pounds for West Minister, or 20 pounds for the whole of London. Prad pays him 20 pounds and asks him where the restaurant "Caf Caf" is. The man then responds that it is in a place called Harrow. Prad reaches at Harrow and sees the caf. Prad then tells to himself that he will find the terrorist there! End of Part 2.

C.I.D Update - December 9th 2005

There is a man and a lady (husband and wife) who is at someone's house. They both are talking to another lady (Preeti) about their daughter's (Sanjana) wedding. They tell Preeti that Sanjana's marriage is fixed and that the marriage will be talking place in 3 days. They then also say that they have found out a very good son-in-law, Vivek. Meanwhile, there is a man who is eavesdropping and is overhearing their conversation. It is Preeti's son, Yogesh. Anyway, Preeti then asks them why the marriage is taking place so soon. They say that Vivek (son-in-law) will not be able to come back to India in another 2 years, so they decided to marry off Sanjana and send her off with him. The man then tells the lady that they will be leaving. The man leaves, and his wife then requests Preeti to come to their daughter's wedding and leaves. Then, a scream is heard, and Preeti runs towards her house and out comes her son (Yogesh). Yogesh is very angry and tells his mother that he will not let this marriage take place at any cost. Preeti (his mother) says that there is nothing else to do to prevent this marriage. Yogesh says it does not matter, whether it is 3 days or 3 hours, he will STOP Sanjana's marriage. Then, he takes out Sanjana's wedding card and lights it up. While doing this, Yogesh laughs hysterically.

There are firecrackers being lit up and it is a festive atmosphere. A marriage is going on and gun shots are fired up in the air. The groom is approaching near the bride's (Sanjana) house. Meanwhile, the lady (who was at Preeti's house) tells her husband that there is still time to STOP this wedding. The husband says never...he will never let it happen and tells her to quiet down, lest someone hears their conversation. The wife tells her husband that if anything happens to Sanjana, she will commit suicide.

A girl comes into Sanjana's room and tells her that the groom's party has arrived. Sanjana looks sad and says that yes indeed that her life is going to change. When she is saying that, a bottle of poison is shown in her hand (not sure whether it is a poison). Outside: Sanjana's mom welcomes the groom and performs the ritual and while performing this, the groom is shot on the chest (perhaps the left side). Then, Sanjana's mom screams. Unfortunately, the groom dies and everyone is terrified and the people are panicking. The groom's mother cries profusely. Then, the same girl enters into Sanjana's room and tells her that the groom is dead. It seemed that Sanjana was going to gulp down poison, but as soon as the girl entered the room, she stopped. Anyway, when Sanjana hears the news, she actually looks quite happy! 😕. The CID team (Pradyuman, Abhijeet, and Daya) are in their CID jeep and are talking about this marriage case. They are going to the place of incident. Prad tells Abhi and Daya about a similar case (years ago), which also involved the groom being shot. He tells them that after 3 days of searching, he came across a "vermala" and that a small pendant (not sure what he said!!!) was inserted in the vermala. He tells them that the killer was none other than the bride's brother.

Meanwhile, a lady (friend of Sanjana's) outlines the position and the location of the dead body. The CID team (without Priyanka - she isn't seen here!) arrives there and they ask her what she is doing. She says that she is sub-inspector Tanvi Majanda. Prad asks her whether she heard the gun shot and she says no. Prad then goes towards the groom's parents and asks them whether they saw or heard the gun shot, but the parents says that many gun shots were fired, so they don't know! Meanwhile, Abhi comes across a bullet shell on the ground and shows it to Prad. Then, Prad asks Tanvi whether she rounded up everyone who was present at the wedding. She says she tried.

The CID team checks everyone's belongings and pockets by using a metal detector to find any guns. They find 4 guns from 4 different people who were present at the wedding. Bureau – Prad asks them why they have guns…were they here to fight or to enjoy a holy occasion. The men say that this is a tradition "rivaaz" in their family to fire gun shots during the baarat ceremony. Pradyuman then tells Abhi and Daya to search every nook and corner of the crime scene.

We are shown that Preeti and Yogesh are leaving their residence with their belongings (seems permanent). Yogesh looks really worried and demands his mother to hurry up and leave quickly. They leave and the neighbours wonder why they are leaving.

Bureau - Pradyuman says that 17 bullets were shot in all and claims that one of them landed on the groom and killed him. One of the 4 men in the bureau tell Pradyuman that they were shooting the gun up in the air because it is their tradition/ custom to do so. Pradyuman then asks them what type of custom this is: whether it is a rivaaz or a joke. Pradyuman tells Rakesh (Groom's jeeja) that he had fired at least 5 bullets from his gun because 5 shells were found. Prad reveals that the gun is a 0.38 calibre and that this gun can hold up to 18 bullets. Pradyuman asks Rakesh where the other 13 bullets went. Rakesh says that he shot them up in the air and outside (on the way to the girl's wedding place) because he was with the baarat. Then, Pradyuman then turns toward Keshab chacha (girl's side) and tells him that 6 out of 6 bullets were shot from his gun. Pradyuman speculates that he must have shot the groom since he was at the girl's wedding place and that he wasn't part of the baarat. Then, Keshab asks Prad to match his bullets with the one that is in the groom's body. Pradyuman then tells out loud to his officers that they have planned this crime out very cunningly and precisely. Then, Pradyuman tells the men that till we don't find who shot the groom, no one can leave the bureau and they are to stay there.

Lab – Dr. Anjalika operates on the groom's body (on the back) and Prad asks why she is operating from the back, as he was shot at the front. Anjalika tells him that he was shot 2 times, both at the front and at the back (I think that is what she said…not sure though) Pradyuman tells Anjalika that he wasn't shot at the back, but the bullet is there. Anjalika shows Pradyuman the X-ray and pinpoints where the bullet is stuck there. It shows that the bullet is round like a ball bearing (Prad says this). Anjalika removes the bullet (black ball) and Pradyuman comments that none of the 4 guns had these types of bullets. Then, Anjalika shows Pradyuman the "GUN BOOK" and finds out that the guns which shot these types of bullets are very old and are not commonly found. It was actually a 0.22 Double Barron Daringer. Pradyuman wonders who has this kind of gun. It seems that the bullet has stuck to the side of the body. Anjalika tells them that the bullet was shot from a top of a building at an angle of approx. 50 degrees.

The CID team reaches the crime scene and bring out their instrument and find out an angle of 50 degrees, with relation to the direction of the dead body. They find out that it had come from the bride (Sanjana's apartment) , but a member from her family (Darmesh) says that how it is possible. It is the store room. CID officers go into the store room and find footprints. Abhi opens the curtains and Prad looks down the window and says that he can see where the groom is (drawing), but in a huge crowd, it is hard, Prad says. Darmesh says that a member of the family can never do this. Anyway, Pradyuman asks Darmesh if anyone in their household has a 0.22 Double Barron Daringer gun. Sanjana's father comes from behind and tells the officers that Darmesh owns the same gun. Then, Darmesh tells the officers that he has one, but has never fired it. He then shows them where he kept his gun. Darmesh tells the officers that he hadn't fired any bullet for years and that it is in a cupboard. Abhi smells the gun and finds out that a bullet had been fired (gun powder smell). Darmesh looks suspicous now....

C.I.D Update - December 16th 2005

Some girl, called Aparna is crying and is removing her jewellery. Then, suddenly someone enters her room and points a gun at her. Aparna tells the man not to kill her and that she won't tell anyone that he killed Vivek (the groom). The mystery man says that if she tells anyone, he will send her to the same place where he sent Vivek to.

CID Officers question Sanjana's father about the Daringer gun and Abhijeet points out that the gun powder is still fresh and that perhaps this is the same gun which killed Vivek. Then, Vivek's father becomes angry at Sanjana's father and asks him why they killed his son Vivek. Vivek's dad (Govind) hypothesizes and tells the CID Officers that perhaps they did not like Vivek and therefore must have killed him. ACP Prad says that some member of the family must have shot Vivek. Sanjana's father says that no one has used this gun, but they know that he owns this gun. Pradyuman asks him to how many people he displayed his gun to. Sanjana's dad says that he showed his gun to around 500 people. ACP Pradyuman that makes a funny remark on how Sanjana's father displays his gun to the WHOLE WORLD (a really funny comment - watch out for that part). Then, Pradyuman says that someone from the 500 people must have shot Vivek. Prad says that the only way that the killer could have entered the room is through the corridor, which leads to Sanjana's room, which is they only way that the killer could have entered the corridor and into the room where the gun is kept. Pradyuman then requests Sanjana's father if he could talk to Sanjana. Her father says that it is not the right moment to talk to her as her husband-to-be has died. Prad says that he understands, but that this is also very important. Anyway, the CID team with Sanjana's father enter Sanjana's room, and we are shown that Aparna and Sanjana's mother are crying. Then, Sanjana's father asks his wife what happened. The wife tells him that Sanjana is not here and that she has run away and left this house.

Corridor of the House: The lady officer (sub-inspector, Sanjana's friend) tells Pradyuman that she searched the whole building, but she could not find Sanjana and that she has left the house for sure. Loudly, Sanjana's mother talks to her husband and says that she had told him earlier that this marriage should not have taken place because he had forced Sanjana into this marriage. Sanjana's father says that he did it all for Sanjana's happiness. The wife tells her husband that see how much happiness Sanjana has received from this marriage. Then, the sub-inspector asks Sanjana's mother what the matter is. Then, Sanjana's mother tells everyone that her daughter did not want to get married and was forced into this marriage. And so, that is why she has run away. Prad says that Sanjana did not run just because she was unhappy with the marriage, but perhaps she was the one who killed Vivek and in fear of getting caught, ran away. The mother tells Prad that Sanjana could never do this and that she is not the killer. Pradyuman looks unconvinced.

Gun Room: Then, Abhi calls Pradyuman into the room. Prad tells Fredricks to keep an eye on Sanjana's parents. Daya then points to the wedding dress that was found under the bed in the room, where the gun is kept. Prad comments that Sanjana could have hid her wedding dress in her room, but why in this room, the same room as where the gun is kept. Pradyuman asks the sub-inspector if Sanjana knew where the gun and the key to the cupboard were kept. The sub-insp. says that Sanjana knew where the gun and the key to the cupboard were kept. Prad hypothesizes that Sanjana could have killed Vivek, since her room is adjacent to the gun room and that she knew where the gun was kept.

Another room: Sanjana's dad is talking to his wife on why she told the CID officers about forcing Sanjana into the marriage. He tells that his whole reputation would be ruined, since the whole world knows it. Wife says that he only cares about his reputation, but not his daughter. She tells him that the CID Officers think that their daughter is the killer. Then, the husband tells the wife that perhaps a boy killed Vivek. And suddenly, the CID team open the door and enter the room, since they were hidden behind the door and listened to their whole conversation. They then ask the parents the name of the boy they were talking about. Sanjana's mom replies that her daughter wanted to marry someone else and the boy's name is Yogesh. Prad asks her where he lives. She tells him "10th road".

There is a really snoopy neighbour who is peering through Yogesh's house and is wondering where he and his mom Preeti left to. She also wonders why they were in such a hurry to leave. Then, Daya and Prad see her peering into Yogesh's house and asks her if this is the address. She tells them to find someone else, if they want to find an address. Then, the officers show their badges, and the woman comes to her senses. She gets scared and tells them that she is Yogesh's neighbour and was wondering why nobody is in the house. The CID Team along with the lady go the front door and find a lock there. Fredricks comes along and informs Prad that the back door is locked as well. The neighbour tells Prad that Yogesh and his mother Preeti left very quickly and looked very scared.

Daya tells Pradyuman that perhaps Sanjana and Yogesh are bothe involved with the shooting of Vivek, or else they would not have ran away. Prad tells the officers they must have left the city and therefore must have gone to the airport, bus depot, etc. He asks them to check. Abhi tells Fredricks to find out where Yogesh last phoned to. Fredricks collects information and notifies ACP, Abhi, and Daya that he called to a PCO number. They find out where the PCO is and ask the shop keeper if whether he had seen a bride. The man says yes that he saw a girl who had henna on her hands at Versova. She was meeting someone here and then went towards Med island (some marina)

CID Team goes into a boat and there they show Sanjana's picture to the crowd, if whether they had seen her. Anyway, they reach the dock and Prad says that the only way the Ferry people must have come across are the Rikshawallas. Therefore, Sanjana must have met at a Riksha station. Each officer shows the pic of Sanjana and question the rikshaw drivers in whether they have seen Sanjana. Then, a rikshawalla sees the photo and recognizes the girl in the picture. He says that he had seen the girl in the afternoon and that he was the one who dropped her off at Surya Bunglow. Prad asks the driver whether she was alone and if not did she meet anybody? The driver tells Prad that she was alone and did not meet anyone. The CID team travel on the autorickshaw (that to one rikshaw and they are all crammed into the rikshaw. It looked hilarious). The team reaches the Bunglow and Prad orders Abhi and Daya to enter through the back door, while he and Fredricks would enter through the front. Prad knocks on the front door and enters because the door is already opened it seems. Abhi and Daya enter from the back door. All look really surprised. Then, we are shown that a secret marriage ceremony is taking place between Sanjana and Yogesh. Preeti, Sanjana's chacha, and Sanjana's friend (Aparna) are present in the marriage. Prad accuses her of killing Vivek and running away. Sanjana tells Prad that she did not kill Vivek and that she only ran away because it was the right moment to marry Yogesh. Prad asks Sanjana if there was anybody when she was in the study room (where the gun is kept). Sanjana says that she couldn't see anyone because she was in the bathroom, but she could hear that someone was in the room with her. Sanjana tells the officers that she only heard the cupboard being opened and that it was a girl opening it since she was shaking her bangles. Pradyuman tells everyone that he knew that the killer was a girl since they found broken bangles pieces on the floor, near the cupboard. Now, Prad can then match the broken bangles pieces with all the ladies who came to the wedding.

Later outside, Abhi asks Prad about the bangle. Pradyuman tells him that he made that fact up and says that it was a trick so that the killer would himself confess his own crime.

Sanjana's chacha enters a room with a bag, and disposes all of Aparna's bangles. Aparna enters the room and asks her uncle why he is throwing away her bangles. The chacha tells her that the CID officers found out a piece of her bangle and that he would get into trouble. Aparna tells him that they couldn't have found the bangle because she didn't break any. The chacha tells her that CID officers never lie and that they did find the broken bangle. As they are talking, they come outside to the main hall and lo, we are shown that the officers were sitting downstairs in the family room. Prad tells the chacha that they lied about the bangle incident and that CID officers do indeed lie.

Prad figured out that the chacha must have been the culprit because when Sanjana was telling about the study room incident (where it was a girl opening the cupboard), the chacha's face was blushed and looked suspicious. That is why Prad decided to play a trick on him and lied about the bangle fact.

Pradyuman asks the chacha why he killed Vivek. Chacha says that he did not want to kill innocent Vivek, but wanted to shoot at Govind, who is Vivek's father. He wanted to get revenge from him, since Govind kicked him out of the office. So to get revenge, the chacha planned to shoot Govind during the marriage ceremony.

The chacha recalls the incident: when the baarat was proceeding, he hid in the store room and shot at the wrong person. He then ran out and was waiting for Aparna to join him, so that she could put back the gun back into the cupboard. At the same time, Aparna was told to convey Vivek's death to Sanjana. After, Aparna came out and the chacha handed the gun to her for her to clean it up, so that no proof is left. She cleaned it and left it in the cupboard, while Sanjana was in the washroom.

Aparna tells the CID officers that she had to do this because Sanjana's chacha was threatening her.

Pradyuman then tells Aparna that she will receive a sentence, and that Prad will make sure that the chacha is not given a lower sentence then death!

C.I.D Update - December 23rd 2005 

                                      Poison in the Nail - Part 1

There is a fashion rehearsal going on. There is a choreographer, whose name is Jaan (yes, this is Rajesh Khera, from JJKN). There is some confusion as to who should go and walk first, is it Mansi or Twinkle, etc. There is a little confusion between Jaan and his assistant Rajeev. Finally, the models rehearse their steps. We are then shown that a girl is eating an apple and watching the rehearsal. When Mansi is walking down the runway, Jaan shouts and says that this is not a catwalk, but a cow walk! Then, Jaan asks Mansi to do it again. But before she could, another girl(with a cap on her head) comes into the rehearsal studio and shouts the name, REVA! Then the girl with a cap comes closer and asks Reva (the same girl who was eating the apple) why she turned her hair green. She removes her cap and her hair is green alright. The girl asks Reva why she gave her a shampoo that turned her hair green. She continues to say that Reva ruined her life and career and then tells her the threatning words, "I'LL KILL YOU!". Next, the girl strangles Reva and a lot of people try to stop her. But it is too late, as Reva falls down to the floor and dies. Jaan is panicking and is really worried.

CID Bureau - Dr. Niyati is practicing her target shooting and reassures her self that she won't be scared and that God will help her overcome her fear. She shoots and then screams when the bullet comes out. Then, ACP Pradyuman and Anoushka (the same girl who helped Prad escape to London and yes, she is Kavita Kaushik!) come in and help Niyati from the ground, as she fell down from shooting. Niyati says that she was trying to get rid of her fears and 1/2 of her fear was gone and more would have been gone if they hadn't intervened. Prad then tells Dr. Niyati that Dr. Anjalika has gone to a conference in Belgium and that is why Dr. Niyati is needed in the forensics section for a few days. Niyati agrees and says that she will do her job at CID. Then, Prad aims at the target and shoots, while Niyati screams after Prad shoots at the target.

Jaan, the choreographer, complains to himself and says that he will be ruined and why these things happen to him. CID team enters the studio and the crime scene. They question Samantha (the girl with the green hair) as to why she killed Reva. Samantha tells them that she didn't kill her and that Reva ruined her hair. Prad is astonished and says that why would anyone kill just because their hair is ruined. Samantha still asserts that she didn't do anything. Then, Mansi comes forward and tells Prad that she recorded the whole event on her mobile, because she was in fear and due to that, she accidently pressed on the record button. Mansi tells them that she captured the whole incident. CID team checks it out and see the whole incident occuring. After watching it, Abhijeet tells Prad that he has never heard anyone explaining that they haven't killed anyone, when infact it was clear that they did.

Lab - CID team enter and tells Niyati that the post-mortum was done really quickly. Prad asks Niyati why she cut open Reva's body, when in fact she was only strangled. Niyati says that it wasn't due to that but because of something else. When Niyati saw that Reva's mouth was blue, she figured out that some poison was given to Reva. Abhijeet tells Niyati that her mouth wasn't blue before! Anyway, Niyati tells them that she did not die due to suffocation, but was killed by a poison. Niyati then informs them that the poison was ANTIMONY. She hypothesizes that antimony was given before hand, even before Samantha tried to strangle her. Daya also thinks and says that perhaps while trying to strangle, the poison might have had an effect. Niyati orders them to go to Reva's house and bring them whatever they find in her house (i.e. the things she ate, etc. )

Then, Prad, Anoushka, and Daya go into Reva's house and search her whole room. Prad comes across a green ice box and asks Daya why anyone would ever lock their ice box. They open the ice box and they find out that there is a CD, instead of food. The CD has the label, "PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL".

CID Bureau - Prad and Daya wonder and they put the CD into the DVD player/computer (not sure!) and they look very disgusted and surprised. A screen comes up with the date 15/12/2005. Prad tells that these are nude photos. Daya asks why the CD is with Reva. Prad calls Anoushka and orders her to call Samantha to their office. Samantha comes in and Prad tells her that from the investigation, it looked like that Samantha had no hand in the death of Reva. Samantha is really releaved, but Prad tells her that she would have to help them in capturing the real killer. Prad tells her to not disclose this fact to anyone. Prad then tells Samantha that she would have to see whether she recognizes anyone in the photographs. Prad and Daya leave the room, whilst Anoushka and Samantha are left alone in the room to view the CD. When Anoushka shows her the CD, Samantha quickly covers her face with her hands because she is really very disgusted. Anoushka tells her that this is also her first case where she is seeing this kind of exposure. When they look at the photos, Samantha immediately recognizes the person in the photograph and notifies Anoushka that she knows the man and that his name is Raj.

The fashion show rehearsal is going on and the CID team comes in with Samantha. They ask her whether she sees Raj anywhere. She tells them that she doesn't she Raj. Prad tells Jaan and every body else in the room that Reva wasn't killed by Samantha and that Raj killed Reva. They ask everyone where Raj is, but no one knows.

Lab - Niyati and Anoushka are there. They check the materials that were taken from Reva's house and inspect. Anoushka points to a contact lens solution packet, but the bottle is not there. They hypothesize that perhaps the poison might have gone through her eyes, when she was wearing her contact lenses. Niyati checks whether Reva has worn her contact lenses and she had indeed. Niyati uses a tweezer and takes one out. Niyati checks the lens and tells Anoushka that there is indeed something on the lens and that they should try some ultra light. Later, Niyati finds out that there is infact poison stuck on the lens, with a finger print imbedded on it.

Then, Prad and Daya go into a hotel room, and a boy shows them where he and Raj stay in. Daya goes into the bathroom and Prad checks the wardrobe and tells the boy and Daya that Raj's things aren't here and that he has gone. Prad asks the boy whether he had met Raj after Reva's death, and the boy replies that he hadn't met Raj after.

Lab - Niyati and Anoushka inspect Reva's apple. They check whether there is poison on her fingerprints on the apple. They put on gas masks and put the apple in a glass container, where a brown gas in emitted. Later, they take it out and see that there is infact poison on the fingerprints stuck to the apple.

More investigation and searching is going on in Raj's room. Prad comes across a lamp shade and finds out that there are some memory cards stuck on it inside. Daya tells Prad that these are memory cards which one puts on the mobile phone. Daya puts one of the memory cards in his mobile and again their faces have the look of digust. Prad tells Daya that Raj had the business of modelling and "gandaa" stuff, probabily nude photography.

Lab - Niyati tells Anoushka that there was poison in Reva's hands, since it was found on the contact lens and the apple. They check Reva's fingers and find out that one of her nails is short and hypothesize that she was a nail biter. Anyway, Niyati clips one of Reva's finger nails and puts in a solution, which later turns dark green. Niyati concludes that her finger nails had poison in them.

Prad and Daya enter the fashion studio again and Jaan looks really annoyed. They show Jaan a photo (probably a nude photo) since Jaan looked disgusted. Prad tells him that Raj does illegal work. Samantha is on the runway and is happy and confident. Suddenly when she is walking up, she falls down and collapses. Prad supports her and Samantha tries to tell Prad something, but before she could, she dies. Prad then tells everyone that "SHE'S DEAD".

C.I.D Update - December 30th 2005

Outside - a man (Raj) is waiting outside the telephone booth. Then, he goes inside and calls someone and tells them that he wants to tell them something important about Reva. Raj tells the person on the other line that he wants to meet him today.

Lab - CID Team comes (still no sign of Fredricks) and asks Dr. Niyati about Samantha's body. Niyati tells them that she knows who killed Samantha and how it happened. Niyati tells them that she has finished with the postmortem thru it she found these out. She tells Prad and the team that Reva killed Samantha. Prad asks how this is possible as Reva died 8 hours before Samantha did. Niyati tells them that Reva was a nail biter, and so in order to prevent from her biting her nails, she used to put some dirty tasting medicine in her nails. But, someone took advantage of it, and put poison inside her nails, when she thought that she was putting on her medicine (don't know what to call it!). So, when Reva was biting her nails, the poison went in and it took the poison some hours to take effect. Niyati tells them that Reva must have held Samantha's neck with a lot of force, when she was struggling. Prad then remembers and adds that he saw scratch marks on Samantha's neck and Samantha was scratching her neck quite a bit. So, the poison went into her blood stream and it took 8 hours to take effect.

Bureau - Daya, Abhi, and Anoushka tell Pradyuman that they talked to the girls who were in the photographs, that were found in Raj's house (i am wondering how they got their phone numbers). They tell him that 5 of the girls are here at the bureau. Girl #1 asks Prad why she is here and that she didn't do anything. Prad asks her whether she knows Raj, and the girl replies that she doesn't know any Raj. Prad then goes and retrieves the photos from his desk and asks her to open the cover up. She opens and sees her photos and she cries and runs out of the room.

All the girls are weeping at the bureau. Anoushka tries to reassure them and tells them that Raj won't do this kind of business anymore if they tell the officers about Raj, etc. A girl asks Prad how they got their photos and Prad tells her that they got it at Raj's house. Anoushka says that you girls weren't the only ones, but there are others whose pictures were taken too. A girl comments that she will kill herself, but Anoushka tells her what she would gain by killing herself, as Raj would still be free. Prad asks another girl how she met Raj. The girl tells him that they met at a Paani puri stand (yum!!!) and that Raj likes theeka food. She also tells them that Raj has a bike. Prad says that he didn't find a bike at his house. Prad asks the girl the bike's plate number. She says that it was MM5564.

Abhi, Daya, and Anoushka find the bike in an unknown place, like a forest (i am wondering how they found out that the bike was there!) They find the bike, but there is no trace of Raj anywhere. They are wondering what might have happened to Raj. CID Team searches the area and Daya and Abhi go down the cliff. Anoushka with her binoculars spots a body and notifies Daya and Abhi. So, both Daya and Abhijeet put on their climbing gears and go down the cliff. They reach the spot and find out that it is Jaan, the choreographer.

City Hospital (boy, is this hospital famous!)- Jaan is not dead and has regained consciousness. He talks to the officers. He says sorry to Prad and tells them that he knows about the photos that they showed to him the other day. Jaan tells them that Reva had told him about the CD and Reva didn't know what to do with the CD. Jaan had told Reva to burn the CD. Then, one day, Raj called up Jaan to meet him somewhere, at an unknown place. Jaan tells Prad that Reva had told Raj that Jaan knew about his dirty work and the CD. So, that is why Raj killed Reva and tried to kill Jaan, by throwing him off the cliff.

CID Team (Daya and Abhi) inspects Raj's bike and conclude that Raj has left his bike and perhaps someone had picked him up from there in a car. They see the tire marks on the road and Daya spots an engine oil on a leaf. They see that the engine oil had left a trail. Daya says that a leak in the engine oil = the car couldn't have gone far off. So, Daya and Abhijeet take their van and follow the trail. They come across a silver car, stranded on the road, since the oil trail has stopped. Daya asks Abhijeet why so much engine oil has leaked. Abhijeet opens the carburator (i think that is what it is called - front trunk) and find out that th enegine pipe is cut. They also find that a gun was shot as there is a hole in the car, near the front trunk. Daya concludes that the bullet must still be in the engine pipe. They take out the bullet from the pipe. They wonder who was shot and why it happened?

A man (Mr. Dinesh) is putting his luggage on top of the cab and it seems he is going out of town forever. Anyway, CID Team comes right on time and asks Mr. Dinesh whether the silver car is his. He says yes to them. They question him - whether he knows Raj - but he says that he doesn't know any Raj. A lady comes out (probably his wife) and talks to Mr. Dinesh. Mr. Dinesh tells her that she is too sick to talk, but the lady says that she should have called the police, and etc. Anyway, the lady (she is pregnant, we are shown) tells them the whole story. One night, when they were driving along, she saw that one man shot another man. Prad then takes out Raj's photo and asks her to identify him. She tells Prad that Raj was the one who was shot. Then, Prad takes out Jaan's photo and asks her to recognize him. She tells him that Jaan was the one who shot Raj. Everything is clear - Jaan is the culprit and the criminal.

Abhi and Daya go back to the forest and climb down the cliff to find Raj's body. They reach his body and find out that they are too late - he is dead.

City Hospital - Prad asks Jaan to tell them the truth. Jaan relents and starts talking. He tells them that since he is in this industry, he does all the dirty work. Raj used to do the pyaar ka naatak, since MMS market is hot. Reva knew about Raj's work and killed her, by inserting the poison in her nails. He killed Raj because Raj found out that Jaan killed Reva and Sam died, so he was really scared and wanted to back off. He requested his freedom, and Jaan gave his freedom by shooting him. Samantha was the innocent person who was killed, Jaan didn't mean to kill her.

Jaan then says that this is the modern zamaana and that CID only caught one Jaan and that there are many jaans around. Prad at the end says that they will catch them all so that no innocent girls aren't bought.
