C.I.D Update - February 3rd 2006

• Office: It's 1'o clock a.m. and a man with a pink shirt is still working at his cabin. He first hears a noise and wonders what it is. He asks "who is it?" and no one replies. He goes back to his cabin and switches on his Dictaphone. There, he is talking about how if another company doesn't give him 1 Crore, he has to sell of the shares, etc. Suddenly, he hears a whistle and gets scared. The person who is whistling has a knife and goes towards the pink shirt man. The pink shirt man asks him to spare him and that he would give him any amount, but the killer still comes forward and dashes the knife on the man's stomach.
• CID Team arrives and inspects. Daya assumes that the killer might be a professional killer because he darted the knife forcefully into the man's stomach. Abhi wonders why Rajesh (pink shirt man) was staying late up at night. Then, Rajesh's secretary comes forward and says that her boss always stayed up at night to finish the next day's work. She says that her boss recorded his info on the Dictaphone so that she could fix all the appointments. The CID Team starts to search for the Dictaphone. Anoushka finds it.
• Bureau: The team listens to the Dictaphone and hears the man's voice and then the whistling. Abhi says that the whistle would lead them to the killer. Fredricks says that he thinks the whistling is that of a man's. Anoushka disagrees and whistles and says that it could also be a lady whistling. Daya says that he hasn't heard of this tune anywhere, so therefore, it must be a new tune that still hasn't come to the market. Abhi then concludes that the killer could be a music expert or a person who works at a music company.
• They go to a shop and plays the Dictaphone to the music expert. The music expert says that he hasn't heard of the tune, but he suggests the team to go to FM Radio Station's office because they always receive new songs.
• FM 99.9 Station: The DJ plays the song on air and asks her audience to contact her if they have any clue of the tune. The CID team thanks her and the DJ tells them that she would contact them if she receives any info about the tune.
• Bureau: Daya and Fredricks listen to the tune over and over again on the Dictaphone. Daya notices that after the whistling had stopped and the killer had went away, there was a ruffled voice. He increases the volume and hears "CAMERA PHONE KI JAI". Daya concludes that there must have been a third person in Rajesh's cabin.
• Anoushka and Abhi are in the CID Jeep and Abhi receives the call from Daya about the news (camera phone ki jai – third person). Then, Abhi receives the call from the DJ that a girl, named Preeti, had called her. DJ says that Preeti knows some info about the tune. DJ gives Abhi the address and they go.
• Office: Daya and Fredrick go back to Rajesh's office to find more clues. Daya figures out that the third person had been hiding behind the cupboard and recorded the whole murder scene with his camera phone. Daya and Fredricks re-enact the scene. Daya then concludes that the third person could have come to the bureau and reported about the murder, but he didn't because he is planning to blackmail the killer. Daya and Fredricks look over to find any clues about the third person. Fredricks calls out and sees a glove in the dustbin. Daya says that it must be the third person's glove, because there are no blood stains, and no body in this workplace uses them.
• Abhi, Anoushka, and Prad (finally) arrive at the place (recording studio) where Preeti is. Prad asks her where she heard the tune. Preeti says that he heard it here in the recording studio yesterday, when she was making a phone call. She can't quite remember from where the tune had come from. Again, Preeti and the team re-enact the scene and finally Preeti remembers that the tune had come from ROOM #4 of the recording studio.
• The team asks the manager to check the list of people who used ROOM # 4 yesterday. They find out the person and they talk (ALL OF THIS IS IN MUTE) Prad is actually quite angry.
• Club: a group is practicing. Then, we hear a man whistling to the same tune. They show his face and it is no other than the famous Indi-Pop singer, I think, BABA SEHGAL.

C.I.D Update - February 10th 2006

Prad and the team reach Baba Sehgal's studio. Baba is still whistling to that tune. Baba is surprised and Abhijeet tells him that he is under arrest. Baba asks why and Daya says that he whistles very nicely. Bureau: Baba listens to the tune on the dictaphone. Baba says it's impossible and that his tune hasn't yet been released to the market. Prad says that if he was the only one who knows the tune, then how did the killer know this tune? Then, Baba says that there are many more people who know this tune (his composers, his musicians, lyricists etc ~ about 5-6 people know this tune) Prad orders Abhi and Daya to bring those 6 people to the bureau. Lab: Dr. is there doing some tests on the gloves found in the office. Some funny conversation going on between Daya and the Dr. Bureau: Voice analyst is testing all the 6 people's whistling. None of their sound frequencies match the one of the killer's. Then Baba says that the CID Team had mistook him as the killer. But Prad tells him that he will proove that this tune has a huge hand in the murder case. Lab: The Dr. puts the gloves on some high-tech machine and tries to match the finger prints found on the gloves to Baba Sehgal and his team. But they do not match. Then Dr says that he found some some pieces on the gloves (some food pieces). It is not human food, but fish food. Then, Daya remembers the fish tank in Rajesh's office. Daya concludes maybe he works at the office to clean the fish tank. Fish aquarium: They go and find out who went to Rajesh's office to clean the fish tank on the 23rd. Three people usually cover the area, but Kiran hadn't come to the work since the 23rd. They get Kiran's address and go to his house. Kiran's House: The door is opened and they find Kiran's dead body. Abhi says he feared this would happen. As Kiran tried to blackmail the killer, he himself got killed. They try to find Kiran's mobile, but it is not there. They check the whole room to find the mobile phone. Then Daya finds a paper cutting soaked in blood, near Kiran's body. It is a matrimony ad. Abhi says that this has got to do with Kiran's death. They go to Manoj's house (he is the one who sent the matrimony ad). The team shows Manoj kiran's photo and that he has died, but Manoj doesn't know him. Manoj says that he has only met one girl, but has posted an ad just a few days ago. He is going to meet some girls today and tomorrow. Abhi says that they will accompany him to the restaurant because perhaps one of the girls might be associated with the murder case. Restaurant: Abhi, Daya and Fredricks are in disguises. Abhijeet goes and sits with Manoj at the table, while Fredricks and Daya are at the other table taking pics as the girls come to Abhi and Manoj's table. Abhi introduces himself as Manoj's brother. Then, a girl comes to the restaurant and Abhi is really quite shocked. We find out that it is Preeti. Abhi takes off his moustache and reveals his identity. Preeti is surprised. Bureau: Prad asks why she had played a game (the tune, Baba Sehgal) Abhi asks what she was doing with Manoj. She says that she wanted to get married. They tell her that they found the marriage ad beside Manoj's dead body. Prad asks why she killed Manoj and Rajesh. Preeti says she didn't. She is lost in thoughts and then reveals that she killed them. Prad is suspicious and asked her how she killed them. Preeti doesn't answer and then prad says that he knew that Preeti didn't kill them. Preeti is trying to save somebody. They ask who and Preeti says her father. Preeti's House: they ring the door bell and the servant opens the door and says that her father isn't here. The team searches the house. The servant says that her father was trying to call someone many times (3-4 times) and then left. Abhi lifts the phone and presses the re-dial button. They find out that it is Sanjay Kumar's number. He is Rajesh's business partner. Preeti says that her father hates when he hears Sanjay's name. Sanjay's House: Preeti's dad is there and has a knife out. CID Team is racing and comes to Sanjay's house. They stop Preeti's dad from killing Sanjay. They arrest Sanjay for a cheating case (for cheating Preeti's dad) RECAP: He says that he gave all his money to Rajesh and Sanjay and these two cheaters didn't make any building that Preeti's dad paid. He says that he killed Kiran because Manoj had blackmailed him. While Preeti's dad was cutting the matrimonial ad from the newspaper, Kiran's phone call came. Her dad out the ad in his pocket and Kiran blackmailed him. Then, when Preeti's dad went to his house, he killed Kiran. At the same time, the ad that was in his pocket fell down.
• Her dad is worried that nobody would want to marry Preeti, but the team says don't worry and that his daughter will be married.

The Case of the Engraved Rice Grains- Part 1

Jodhpur Station: A wounded man is in an autorickshaw and asks the driver to go faster, as he has to give some packet to ACP Pradyuman. He reaches the station and manages to find his friend in a train, which is going to Mumbai. The badly wounded man gives the packet to his friend, but his friend doesn't let him go and doesn't want to leave him that way and asks what happened. The wounded man tells him that some people are after him and that they might come look for him any second. The friend goes into the train and the train departs. Mumbai: CID Bureau – Prad is tells the other officers that the wounded man was one of their efficient officer spy. Anyway, they open the packet and they find out that it contains rice. Blood stains cover the rice, but Daya notices that there are black spots. He takes the magnifying glass out and sees that it is a windmill. They take out black stained rice and put them on the plate. There are words, such as "11:30" "Baje" "Picture of a windmill" "Rajastani Puppet", etc. They try to mix and match to form the sentence. They finally figure out that and it says, "Puppet leke windmill ke pass sade gyaarah milo" Prad tells Daya that they have to go to Jodhpur immediately, as they don't know if it is 11: 30 tomorrow, day after, etc. Prad tells Daya and Fredricks to inform the police at Jodhpur and complete all formalities.  Jodhpur Station: Prad tells Daya, Fredricks, and Sudhakar that an officer called Pratap Singh will be meeting them here and that he is from the PR Department of the Police. Pratap meets them and introduces himself. Prad shows him the engraved rice grains and Pratap tells Prad that the case is solved. The engraved rice grains are usually done in Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer: Prad, Fredricks, and Daksh ask each of the shopkeepers in a Rajasthani dialect about where they can find a man who can engrave rice grains. So, each shopkeeper points them where the man could be found. Near the windmills-Highway: Daya is on the "highway" and there is a man in a scooter who is in front of him. Daya looks at him and the man smiles. Daya goes past him and the man stops and he has a puppet. Then, Daya is suspicious and turns back and stops far ahead and watches over him. Meanwhile, Prad and the team find the three shopkeepers who had put engravements on the rice grains. They then ask one of the shopkeeper to draw a sketch of him since he is an artist. Looks like someone asked three different shopkeepers to engrave the rice grains. The two shopkeepers work with the other one to draw a sketch. They finish drawing the sketch and just then Prad receives a call from Daya. Daya tells Prad that there is a man with a puppet, waiting near the wind mills. Prad tells him that he is going to send him a sketch through the cell phone. Daya receives the sketch and comes forward near the man with the puppet. Daya tells him that he wants to look at his face. He compares the sketch with him and matches perfectly. The man with the puppet hops on his scooter and drives off. Daya follows him.
• Daya and the man with the puppet reach a fort. Daya is chasing him and the man is running away. Just then, the CID Team comes to the fort to help Daya to chase the man. Then, Fredricks sees him in a ditch and notifies Daya. Daya asks him to come out and shoots a bullet. The man tells him not to fire any bullets, as he is carrying Uranium with him in the puppet. Daya comes down and brings the man with the puppet outside. Daksh takes the puppet and opens it and it does contain Uranium. Daksh asks whether he was going to make a bomb. The man says no and tells them that a girl was supposed to take this Uranium from me. They ask which girl. The man takes out the photo and shows it to them. Daya asks who is this girl...

The Case of the Engraved Rice Grains- Part 3

Daya is still following the man.
After the dead man says "fort" and "cannon", Prad knows where the place is in Jodhpur and goes there with Surya. Prad tells Surya and Daksh that the man who is escaping knows what is inside the cannons.
The man is on the terraces and Daya, Sudhakar and Fredricks, are still following him there. When the man is cornered, he shoots Daya on the arm. But Daya is ok and continues to follow him until he is cornered. The man threatens to shoot him again. Daya asks him to put his gun down. Then, the man threatens to shoot himself, but Daya shoots him on the leg (I think!)
Cannon: Daksh calls Sudhakar to ask whether they caught the man. Prad talks to Daya and orders him to ask the man about the guns. The man says that the cannons have two lions imprinted on them.
Prad and team searches the place to find the cannon which has 2 lions on it. They find it and Daya asks the man what is hidden in it. The man replies that there is a key around that area. Prad says that this key will bring us closer to the girl and the chakkar about the uranium. Meanwhile, a group of kids come upto Prad and ask what he is looking for. Prad tells them about the key. The kids want to help him find it and Prad agrees. They search each and every gun. A boy finds it and gives it to Prad. Prad is happy and asks them whether they want to become a CID Officer. The kids shout YES! Anyway, Prad tells Daya over the phone that they found the key and tells him to ask the man what this key is for. The man says that he won't tell him and escapes and commits suicide.
Surya is telling Prad that there is a museum around here and there they can find out what the key is for.
Museum: the shopkeeper tells Prad, Daksh and Surya that this key belongs to a lock which is usually found in a Haveli. Surya says that there are none in Jodhpur...the shopkeeper tells him that there are old Havelis in Jaisalmer. Prad then says that they will be going to Jaisalmer.
Jaisalmer: In a haveli (which is now a shop), there is a man and a lady talking. They have an injured girl with them. the man says that they got to ditch the girl as she is of no use. They only used her to get the uranium. He is scared that the CID might come here any moment. The man puts the girl in a tiny room and locks it. Meanwhile the lady is washing all the blood stains on the ground.
CID Team is finding out which Haveli the key belongs to.
Haveli: the man and the lady are talking about how CID is here and they are going to get caught and the rice. He says that he will run away after he gets the uranium. The lady is really scared. Then, all of a sudden, the injured girl starts screaming for HELP. They hear her.
Team asks the people whether they have seen the key or not. A man says yes and that it belongs to the FURNITUREWALI KI HAVELI. Team goes there. Prad says that he has come here before because the Judge's girl worked here. They knock on the door many times, but the lady and the man don't open it. Finally, Daya breaks open and they ask the lady where the key fits to. She says that she doesn't know. Daya notices blood stains on the ground. They ask her where the girl is and she says she doesn't know. Just then, the girl shouts for HELP again! CID Team hears her. The lady starts crying and shows them the room. The lady tells them that there is another thing inside the room too. They come to the door and open the lock with the key they have. They open the door and find a nuclear reactor. Just then, they hear the girl shout for HELP. They find the girl. The team hears some running noises. It is the man who is escaping. He jumps on his motorbike and goes away. The CID Team is following him. Prad is saying that he is heading towards the border. Anyway, the man comes to a stop and runs to the desert and rides on a camel. The man comes down from his slow camel and runs. Daya runs after him. They don't find him. The footprints end here. Daya says that perhaps he is hiding below the sand. So, they fire the area and find him. The man asks them not to shoot at him. Prad asks him where he got the uranium from. He says from India and abroad. Prad asks him who makes the bombs. He says that he doesn't know how to make them, but there are people who make them and tells Prad that he could tell him all their names.
• NOTE: ALL 50 PEOPLE WHO WERE PART OF THE SCHEME WERE ARRESTED AND GANDHARI BECAME A GOVERNMENT APPROVER.

Return of the Jewel Thief

Aman Verma a.k.a. Johnny is on the boat and his men pull some sack out of the sea and retrieves a box which contains jewels. Johnny laughs hysterically and says that he will deposit this in the bank. Suddenly his driver asks him if his work is over and asks his what he does. Johnny gets mad and says never to question him again.
Johnny's Office: Some men are playing cards. Johnny complains how there is no one outside their door to distract other people so that they won't know what they are doing. Then, Johnny tells them that a statue/jewellery collection is about to be auctioned, which is worth 25 crore. Johnny tells them to loot the museum.
City Museum (3 months later...): A Rajastani man is with the museum director. He is there to see whether his jewellery is safe in the museum, which are about to be auctioned. This man is very picky and is quite unsure about the security. The director assures him that there are cameras, security guards, high-technology which will prevent his jewellery to be stolen. The man asks the director what if his jewellery was stolen; the director replies that he would shoot himself in the head.
Two days later: The jewellery is stolen and the man is very sad and angry. He asks the director to shoot himself in the head like he promised he would. Suddenly, the director points the gun towards the security guard, but the man tells him not to act as a hero, but he is a villian. Just then the CID Team enters. Prad asks the man to stay calm. Daya takes the director's gun away. Prad asks him what happened...the man tells him that his jewellery has been stolen. Prad says that all are here and the man tells him that this is cheap-quality found in the market. He tells them that they were here 2 days ago. The director tells Prad that there are cameras everywhere which are recorded 24/7. He tells Prad that there is only one door, which requires the right fingerprints. The director's name is Josh. Abhijeet asks him if there was some incident 2 days ago. Josh says yes...there was a small fire in the other part of the museum. Then two security guards tell them that the light went off twice, one at 11 and the other at 2 p.m. Prad says between 11 and 2 p.m., the robbery must have taken place. He tells the director that he wants to see the videos.
They see the videos and notice that the video is blank between the times of 11:00 and 2:00 p.m. Then, the director blames the security guards for doing it. So, Abhijeet asks the security guards. Just then, one of the guards takes his gun and points towards Abhi and Prad and tells them that he stole the jewellery. Daya and Fredricks are behind the guard and tackle him. When he is caught, he tells them that he didn't steal the jewellery because he worked for 20 years in the police station. He says that he had to do it because one day there was a man who came to his house to threaten him to disconnect the camera cables when the robbery was taking place. If he didn't do it, his child would be dead. So, he had to do it.
In the room: Prad wonders how the robber(s) might have came into the room because there is only one door. Prad says that he thinks that the thieves must have hidden in the room. They find where the place might be. So, Daya and Abhi knock on the walls, Fredricks checks the grounds, and Anoushka goes out to the corridor to check the walls. Then Daya finds the wall and finds that the wall could be opened. Him and Abhi slide the door on the wall and find that there is a small passage, where 2-3 can fit inside. Prad asks the director if he knew about the sliding wall. He says no and yes because 2 months ago, there was some reconstruction taking place. Prad tries to investigate how the men might have escaped from the wall. So, Prad tries the other wall and finds that the wall can slide. There, they enter a burnt room, where the fire had taken place 2 days ago. They notice that there is a camera there. Prad says that they can find out what happened in this room when the fire took place.
Prad and team review the video and they fast-forward and rewind it. They find that in the beginning 6 fire-fighters had entered the burnt room to estinguish the flames, but after 8 had come out. So, therefore 2 of them must have been the thieves. The last one was carrying a fire estinguisher, which may have contained the jewellery.
• Johnny's place: Johnny is very happy and elated. He is happy that they got the jewellery from the museum. He says that his plan was very good and no one should have doubted him. Then, a man asks him who would buy the stolen jewellery. Johnny tells him that the Rajasthani man (whose jewellery had been stolen) would pay this amount.

So, Johnny wants to send a message to the man. So, they cut letters from the newspaper so that it is anonymous. The message reads, "I am ready to strike a deal Mr. Shikhavat (the Rajasthani man) I will sell you the jewellery and the idol for 15 crore. That way  you and I can make a profit of 10 crores."
CID Team reads this message. Prad tells Shikhavat to give 15 crores, but he says no. prad says that a child's life is at stake, and eventually Shikhavat relents.
• Johnny tells his friends that police won't find him and so forth. he says police can't do any harm on him. He says his plan has never failed nor will ever fail. Just then, a man tells Johnny about ACP Prad and how he captures criminals. Johnny suddenly gets a heart attack after hearing ACP'S name. Then, Johnny dies. Everyone is panicking.

Johnny was just pretending to be dead.
Shikhavant receives another letter and gives to the CID Team.
Prad tells Shikhavant to give the money.
Prad prepares the money. Abhi installs the GPS system in one of the notes and puts it in the bundle.

Prad is talking to Johnny. Johnny is giving him instructions. He tells Prad to go to a bag store and put the money into a lime green suitcase. Next, he tells him to take out the note which contains the GPS installed in it. Prad throws it away. Next, Johnny tells Prad to go to the nearest Gym and put the money into locker #25.

After Prad puts in the money, he calls Abhi and Daya to keep an eye on the locker. Daya and Abhi keep an eye on all the men, but it is morning now and they are suspicious. They open the locker and find that 15 crores are gone. They see that someone has taken it from the back, as it is newly plastered.

CID Bureau: Prad is talking to Anoushka, Daya and Fredricks on how the money was stolen right under their noses and that his reputation is ruined. Just then, they hear Dr. Niyati whistling. Prad is angry and tells her that she hasn't helped them in this case.

Dr. Niyati tells Prad that she has found something important. She has found the serial number of the xerox machine in which the papers were copied on. SHe tells them where the xerox machine is located.

Prad and team goes to the shop and asks the shopkeeper about the serial number. The shopkeeper relents and Daya points the gun at him.

The shopkeeper shows them the machine and Prad asks everyone whether they have seen a man photocopy this paper. Suddenly, the man says that he did it, but he says that he is not involved in it.

After being tortured by Daya he says that his girlfriend had given him the papers to photocopy.

Team goes to the girlfriend's house.

They open the door and find the girlfriend. They ask the girlfriend about the letters and she tells them that she doesn't know anything. She says that her other 'boyfriend' had given them to her. Her other boyfriend is a driver.

The driver comes to the bureau and we see that it is Johnny's driver.

The driver tells Prad that Johnny and his pals are going out on a boat.

Sea/Marina: Johnny and his pal are boarding the boat with their loot. Suddenly, the CID Team arrives and starts shooting at them. The boat is quite far away, until one of Johnny's men is shot. Johnny is quite worried and asks the captain to turn his boat back so that he can take his pal to the hospital.

• CID Team is wondering why they are turning back.They catch Johnny and the child is safe.

Nothing new was in this series. I would rate it a 6-7/10. 😊

Letter From The Past

By: Belle1989 ~ Will be VERY VERY Brief, as I didn't watch it properly and I have forgotten some character's names, but I will create new names instead! 😛

Anoushka is there at a place, looking for an apartment. Real estate, Mona, says that it is a very good place to live in. But, a neighbour next door, a fat lady named Mrs. Khanna, comes and says to not buy this place as the famous model, Sonya died here.
Khanna tries to persuade Anoushka, but to no avail. Khanna tells her the story of Sonya and her fashion photographer husband, Nikhil. She says that they were a loving couple and that she became handicapped because in a photoshoot, she fell down the building, when he was taking her pics. So, Nikhil was taking care of Sonya and was even scolding the nurse for giving her sleeping pills of some sort. When he leaves, Sonya thinks that she is a burden to him and takes the pills and has an overdose and dies.
The real estate Mona is really getting irritated. Anoushka signs the deal to lease the apartment.
Daya is there helping her arrange the interior of her house. Anoushka is preparing a dinner for Prad. Anoushka goes to her room to unpack her items and to put them in the cupboard. She tries to open a side drawer and with all her might, she opens and finds that there is a note written in it. She reads the letter, supposedly written by Sonya before her suicide. It is completely opposite to what Khanna retold. Sonya was infact unhappy in her marriage and that her husband had many affairs. He also pushed her down the building and even mis-treated her when she was in bed. He also put an overdose of pills in her mouth and killed her.
Anoushka takes this to the CID Bureau and Prad demands Nikhil to come to their office. Prad asks Nikhil whether it is really Sonya's handwriting: he says NO! He also says that none of this is true and that he loved Sonya very much. Prad does not believe him and asks him whether Sonya had any relatives. He says that she has a cousin named Sunny. She had written many letters to him (for New Years, etc.) They ask him Sunny's address. He lives in Pune (I believe)
Pune: CID Team is there and they reach the store where Sunny works at. They ask him to show the letter Sonya had sent him. He goes and brings them a letter with Sonya writing HAPPY NEW YEAR 2003. At the side, Prad tells Anoushka to keep an eye on Sunny.
CID Team takes the card to the bureau. Daya and Prad take this to the card publisher and asks him when this was printed. The man looks at his data base and finds that this card was printed in 2004. Prad is thinking how it can be possible. Card made in 2004 had Sonya writing HAPPY NEW YEAR 2003.
CID Team goes to Anoushka's place and find that Nikhil is there. Nikhil tells them that he is there to find a proof that he didn't kill Sonya.
Meanwhile Anoushka is following Sunny and soon finds that he is with the real estate, Mona and is talking to her. Anoushka comes up to them and says that they have to go to the bureau with her.
Bureau: Prad asks what is going on? Sunny says that he did this all for money. Mrs. Khanna had given him money and had even signed NEW YEAR and SUICIDE notes. Nikhil, who is angry, tells the CID Team that Mrs. Khanna had always wanted to buy his apartment, perhaps she wanted the whole floor to herself. Mrs. Khanna had tried many times to buy his apartment, but he said that he didn't give it to her. Mona says that it was all a plan.
