Yes smiles. Madhumita too got best performer for her Karupu perazhaga song. She deserves it.

Can't wait for next weeks legends round. Excited to see janaki Amman and SPB sir. :)

Diwakar won best special thing of the week where theyhave to sing somelines.

As Krituma and smiles said both Syed and madumitha won best performer and nirjari eliminated.

Krishnan - paadi parandha kili - one of the better performances of today, flow was well maintained.
Ganesh - oruvan oruvan - very confident, lacked power in some parts & no flow.
Ramesh - kanmaniye paesu - best of today, there's room for improvement, but good song choice & feel.
Syed - pennalla pennalla - one of my favourite song, not easy to sing but Syed was disappointing in most places... I don't know if he understood the song & his pronunciation/ emphasis given to some words is really off putting!

Good to see SPB... even he didn't like the judges over praising him when the focus should be on the contestants & to help them improve. Edited by ~*Thamizhan*~ - 10 years ago

One of the best episodes of this season.

Humble SPB just stole the show .:). That's why he is a legend

Ramesh Krishnan both their performances were Fantastic. Happy to see Ramesh singingwith confidence. Nice motivatingcommrbys from SPB sir.

Syed was good but choosing a particular music director songs makes it little boring. Wish to hear good ilaiyaraja melody.

Ganesh too was nice but he sung in his own style.

Can't wait for today's performances.

Today SPB special continued. Today's focus was Eye related songs.

They called people from Sankara Eye foundation and talked about Eye donation.

Bombay Jeyashree was special guest. She sang a song along with Sathya prakash.

It was nice song but so low could not hear properly.

All of the song selections were very good but they did ok not that great I guess. May be tensed.

Sai Vignesh - Sang Vizhigal Meeno

Shenbaga Raj Kana kaanum kangal rendum urangatho Mella

Diwakar - Kannukkul Nooru Nilava

Narayanan - Thedum kan Paarvai

I felt Sai Vignesh Alap was good. Narayanan singing was ok. Diwakar and Shenbagaraj were ok.

SPB sir the great few lines he was singing here and there so good.

Sai Vignesh - vizhigal meeno - beautiful rendition, controlled performance, his voice ("expression" - Srini) will improve with age & experience. Impressive.
Shenbagaraj - kana kaanum kangal mella - feel was good & some nice touches.
Diwakar - kannukkul nooru nilava - good performance, expected a lot more but what a beautiful song...
Narayanan - thedum kann paarvai - tough song, good performance... feel, control & modulation good.

I really enjoyed yesterday's performances... Sai Vignesh standout performer, others not far behind.
