Padma tells Pavithra to get ready. MM says we should tell TA & Thuls about maapilai veedu coming to see Pavithra. Padma says we don't need them & not to talk about them. Kalyani's sister comes & Padma asks her why she's not going to school. Sister says there's no school & Padma gives her 10 rupees & asks her to go to the park, temple or her friend's house. MM tells Padma she will stay in her room & study. Padma says her sister ran away with Pavi's 1st maapilai & she might run away with the next. MM tells her not to talk like that.. she's very young. Kalyani says she's not going to do the same thing as her other sister. MM tells her to go inside & study. Padma says she's going to call maapilai's house & tell them not to come because this marriage isn't going to happen. Kalyani stops her & says she will talk to her sister & send her out. She goes inside & tells her sister to go to her friend's house. Kalyani's sister says she doesn't have any friends but she'll go to the park like Padma said. Kalyani tells her to go the temple & gives her 100 rupees to eat. Kalyani asks her to forgive her & to be careful. Kalyani sister tells MM she's going & leaves.
Varadha comes to Prabha's house & remembers Prabha pushing him outside & Deepa saying she needs the notebook to complete her project. He goes inside & Prabha asks who are you & why did you come inside. Varadha says he didn't come here to fight & asks him to hand the notebook. Prabha tells him to go to the court & beg there. Varadha says this is about Deepa's education & future. Seetha's husband tells him to leave... it's just a notebook. Varadha says he's living with his daughter in Prabha's house for his money but they are not like that. Prabha tells him to stop & he's not going to give him anything from his house. Prabha tells him to look for Deepa's notebook in her ex-lover Kanagu's house. Varadha tells him not to talk about his daughter & Kanagu's now married. Prabha says he can marry someone else & keep Deepa on the side... Varadha grabs Prabha's t-shirt, Seetha's husband pushes him away & slaps him. Varadha cries, says neenga nallaave irukka maateenga, picha eduppa & leaves.
Temple. Revathy, her husband, MIL & FIL praying... they decide to sit down & Revathy sees her sister. She goes over to her sister & she starts crying. Revathy & FIL asks her what happened & she says today ponnu paakka vaaranga & Padma asked me to go to the temple because maapilai will say he likes her instead of Pavithra. Revathy tells her not to cry & FIL says Padma's doing this because of what they did to her. Revathy & FIL asks her to come to their house & not to tell anyone about it. Sister's worried but they take her with them.
