^^AAP are communists? Huh? 😕
Btw, happy that Cong got wiped out in Delhi. Now time for India to replicate the Capital. And the AAP second majority is actually a good thing. It means that the public is raring to get away from the Congress and thus will largely swing in favour of BJP in 2014. So rest assured and fridge the bottles of champagne. 😆

P.S. DMG went off air in 2010. 😛

@Mr A - i was kidding, but AAP will actually favor Modi in 2014! Their votes will swing Modi way during Lok Sabha.

Taking a sweeping overview of the surprising performance of the AAP, one comes to the conclusion that the rise of the AAP is in many ways a victory for Indian Democracy:

--Having roots in an iconic non-violent mass movement
against corruption.

--Being comprised of literal "aam admis"..From insurance agents to cricket coaches to even the unemployed are among its members and candidates.

--It has addressed apprehensions of certain people that India is going the way of two-party system USA and is going to keep the duopoly of the Cong and BJP in check in the future (when it gains an all-India foothold)

--Finally, the astounding debut of the AAP reaffirms faith in the power of the electorate and its ability to shake the foundation of the Established Giants. A shot in the arm for the parliamentary democracy that the Indian system stands for.

Rahul Gandhi?! I don't know why his name is even brought in contention! He's only fit to mention his family or move around his mummy/sister.

He has not been able to handle transition and disagreements within Congress.

He's a grossly overrated guy and even so called youth icon titles bestowed on him look like work of paid media than his own merit.

If Narendra Modi had 2002 behind him then Congress has 1984.

Congress announces one yojna after the other, whereas their actual effect and application?

The party rallies only around Gandhis, now MMS is also sidelined. Where's their vision?

They are out there to curb media, interfere use of social media, ban opinion polls and whatnot. Their scams and recent actions have only spoiled their image.

There is every effort to enforce skepticism on NaMo by media but there's no denying the man's gaining lot of popularity now. There are sizeable chunk of people who've changed their stance towards him and are more receptive to him. He comes across as decisive. Currently his perception is better.

There is definite anti Congress wave now. And that's going to benefit NaMo.

I'd ideally prefer emergence of a Third Front and welcome emergence of AAP but for now, BJP does seem to have advantage - it's an established national party, anti -Congress wave only buoyed them more and increasing attention gained by NaMo is in their favour.

AAP types are still new and their presence is not as widespread nationally as it was in Delhi, though its performance in Delhi is surely going to boost its chances elsewhere.

Congress has to field a stronger candidate. If it's going to be RaGa then I'm surely not going to vote for him.

I believe NaMo seems to have an edge now and we'll have to see what else he does in coming months. I'd like to see him talk more about issues and his vision for nation than only take digs at shehzaada (though I admit I love his sarcasm and dialogues!).

Personally I may use NOTA option while voting.

It shows,,.. I maintain that I respect your view, but it shouldn't be the voice of a multi-religious country I feel..
And for you to understand it's what communalism is!

^You're correct. The only policy for a multi-religious country should be shamless minority-appeasement, Oppa Congi style! 😉
For example, that clause in the now-amended (thanks to BJP) Communal Violence Bill which stated that ONLY the majority-community (read Hindus) would be responsible for every riot that would occur in the future. That's the kind of "secularism" you'd like. Amicorrect?

I don't take the Congress way or the BJP way, Nova seems better.
No, the way you guys see it, you guys seem to be sarcastic, its better for me to leave it that way, rather than leave a comment.
