The seventh season "Kaun Banega Crorepati" has started with a bang. As mentioned in our previous post "KBC season 7 goes bigger and better" Amitabh Bachchan yet again created a huge surge in TRP's. As mentioned, the new season will have a last, separate set of 4 questions under a new feature called, Saptakoti sandook', which will allow the contestant to win Rs. 1, 3, 5 and 7 crore progressively. So does this mean the show will get tougher? Will we have to wait for a longer duration to get the first Crorepati? Well, not really.

Guess what, KBC Season 7 has got its first Crorepati. Yes, it's true. The audiences were eagerly waiting to her Mr. Amitabh Bachchan say "Barwah sawal Ek Crore ke liye, yeh raha apke saamne". And this is what exactly happened. History teacher Taj Mohammed Rangrez from Udaipur was on the Hot Seat. By profession a history teacher in Fatehgarh School, Taj Mohammed has been teaching for the past 10 years.

He made his intentions clear when he answered every question confidently and kept away from using the lifelines until the 9th question for Rs 12.50 lakhs. His priority was to treat his 7 year old daughter who is partially blind. Also he did wish to buy a house, educate three underprivileged girls and get two orphan girls married. Well, such a noble cause.

Taj was seen joined on stage by his elder sister who lived the moment of becoming a Crorepati family. And Mr. Bachchan complimented the fact on how well Taj played and that they already have a Crorepati in the second week of the show. Yes, just in the second week. Well, catch all the action and drama on Sony Entertainment Television every weekend night friday to sunday at 8.30 pm.
