yes i have to say this , not comparing or taking name of any other show but Buddha is best show of its genre of History/Mythology, because
1.No Dragging of unnecessary small track
2. No Rushing with tracks and skipping important infos
3.No over melodrama
4.You can connect with every character positive or negative because even in short span every character is getting space to grow
5.No distortion of story till now , no fact has been distorted like Maya's character can be dragged but they didn't coz only after 7 days Of buddha birth she died its fact then that elephant story or bringing yashodhara as Sidharth's cousin
6. classic acting,, no over acting no dull acting the required manerism of negative shaded characters are not over the board
7. well researched on dress , hair style culture of southern-Terai Nepali region and using mountainous music and backdrop
8. adding fiction in limit so that they can fill loop hole but not get actual story changed
in every aspect Buddha is a classic show but only thing is working against it is its time slot
and like many hyped show its not getting that attention specially the forum is inactive
requesting members to be active and keep discussing on Buddha , and the show
