24 2nd hour continues

The second episode contains the events between 1-2 am.Picking up from the previous episode, this one starts with the airplane bomber landing and handing over the photographer's id card to her sister and is taken to meet yakoob bhai, who appears to be the mastermind behind the plot. On the other end his nemesis Jai is on his way to foil their plan, he believes there is some connection between the plane crash and the murder plot. Aditya's veteran politician mother, wants him to take advantage of the crash news and remind people how his father fell prey to the reprobates' evil plan, in a similar way.

On the other hand Aditya is feeling very restless post his conversation with the reporter with regards to his graduation dinner 12 years back. He then confronts his cousin and learns from him that the man with whom he got into a tussle on the night of his graduation dinner, died after receiving a blow from him and hitting his head on the floor. He is perplexed by the truth and now wants to find out how the reporter got this info which he himself didn't know, even though it was efficiently covered up years ago.

Trisha with Nikita's help  knows that Kiran left for a party in Sunvilla, so she and Abhay
(Jahnvi's father) go there to look for them,only to find out that the girls left the party with the caretaker's son. Kiran and Jahnvi now realize they are in a big mess, Jahnvi is hurt and Kiran is forced to call her mom and tell her she's fine. They have been abducted by these two boys whom they considered friends. These boys are drug addicts working for yakoob bhai, in return for money. We now know that Yakoob has not just the PM on his target but Jai's family too.

Jai meets Wasim (played by Anupam Kher) who has the information about the rat in the organization. Wasim and Jai get into a crossfire with the terrorists at Eros cinema, and Wasim gets shot but he hands over a SD card to Jai, which has that crucial information. Jai sends the data on the card to a Jia in ATU office to decode. The information on the card would take very long to decrypt but she sends him the name of the person whose computer, it originated from!!. Jai and the audience is left stunned to see the name on Jai's phone...It's Nikita!!!!

The episode ended here leaving the viewers gasping. We can see that the plot is now moving like a fast train and its getting more gripping by the minute. Then next week's episodes look electrifying and the viewers would surely be biting their nails, watching it. The acting by the entire cast is impeccable. If you saw the first episode and didn't like it much, we would still say you watch it. 24 is an experiment in the industry, it's like an acquired taste, you'd only be able to enjoy the drama to the fullest, if you watch it long enough. So just wait and watch and let it grow on you.
