R: Zoya Ayaan has fallen ill... Can you please tell us more about the sequence, what is going on?

S: Ayaan has suddenly fallen ill. And I have no idea what has happened or how it happened. And I don't understand why things have to go wrong whenever I am about to go back to Asad. So the twists and turns keep coming. And right now, being human, it is my duty to take care of Ayaan. Everyone thinks that Ayaan is my responsibility because we are married. And a part from this tragic sequence he is my friend! We just can't forget about the Raburt and Mona track that has been running since the beginning of the show. Rabut is sick. So if Mona is there she has to look after him. 

R: But what about meeting Asad?

S: I will eventually, one way or another, meet Asad. Asad also loves his brother dearly. He loves Ayaan like anything. Ayaan is like Asad's child. So if we look at this situation from that point of view then if I am here I should be taking care of Ayaan.

R: Ok so Asad was about to take you back. You guys had agreed that within 7 days Asad will bring you back but something or the other always ends up happening. Now all of a sudden Ayaan is sick. Will Zoya be able to return to Asad?

S: As of now I have been told that ZOYA WILL GO BACK TO ASAD. Ok! But trust me I find out the twists and turns at the same time that you guys find out! I don't know these things ahead of time. Meaning it is when I reach the sets that I am told what is about to happen during that days shoot. So keeping that in mind, right now we have been told that ZOYA WILL GO BACK TO ASAD. 

R: But still, the family is blaming Zoya.

S: I wouldn't say that the family is not really blaming Zoya. It is Haseena Bi who is blaming. But it doesn't really make a difference to anyone when Haseena Bi complains or blames. She is born to blame others. Meaning her role in Qubool Hai is to blame others, get angry and complain. That's the reason why people like her. (LOL what fan actually likes Haseena's character?!). And trust me that is also my reason for liking her because she does everything so nicely. 

R: You got along really well with the actors in the Khan Family and now your tune is also going well with Ayaan's family...

S: No I also had good relations with the actors from Ayaan's family. I mean the houses are separate but there is no separation or offscreen. So we were friends from the beginning. Yes but now I have gotten used to everyone and everything. Meaning shooting in this house, coming every morning to shoot at this location. 

R: Ok so we have heard that the upcoming twist is about Ayaan falling in love with Zoya. Is he maybe faking his sickness right now? (*LOL YEAH CAUSE AYAAN WOULD DO THAT... smh)

S: No he is not doing all of this intentionally. He has lost a lot of blood. He got many stitches. Ayaan is not like that. His character won't let him do anything of that sort. You know because for Ayaan Asad is the most important person in this world. He will never do anything to hurt Asad, especially not knowingly. (Love how Surbhi didn't really answer the entire question)

R: The TRPs have fallen quite a bit. It has landed the 10th positions over all and second amongst Zee TV shows. So do you think this happened because of the Zoya and Ayaan track? 

S: No I think this happened because stuff like this always happens with daily soaps. So, meaning it has nothing to do with the tracks. Some things strike while others take longer to strike. There is nothing like that. We are working very hard and putting in a lot of effort. Our writers, our team, and our spirit are the same. We are doing well, but who knows maybe others have done better so their TRPs have gone up? So we can do REALLY well and then we will also increase our TRPs again. 

R: So when will the fans be able to see Asad and Zoya together again?

S: Even Asad and Zoya don't know about this, what am I supposed to tell the fans! Really, we don't know anything. And I'm also very carefree on the sets. My attention is always in the conversations. I tend not to look at what is happening in the screenplay or what we are about to shoot. I look at it at the end. And trust me, even right now I have no idea who is shooting what. I am sitting here carefree, eating my food. When they call me I will run off for the shoot. 

R: So you guys are having a chaat party on the sets? *Chaat is an Indian dish*

S: Yeah Ayaan has given everyone a chaat party. See living with Asad the biggest problem was that he himself was very diet conscious. He doesn't eat chaat nor does he feed anyone chaat. Unlike Asad, Ayaan eats everything so we also eat it. That's why here we have we have chaat parties.
