Kritika Kamra hails from Madhya Pradesh & was born in
Bareily, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Her Father Mr. Ravi Kamra is a Dentist and her Mother Mrs. Kumkum Kamra is a Nutritionist. She has a younger brother Rahul Kamra who currently stays with her in Mumbai to complete his studies and even debuted in TV show Gumrah.

She did her schooling from Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj,
New Delhi.

She was pursuing her graduation in NIFT in New Delhi but left
her graduation midway because she was selected as protagonist in
a college campus screen test for her show Kitani Mohabbat Hai

Kritika landed her first television role in 2008 as Arshiya in Yahan Ke Hum Sikander.

However, her big break came when she was chosen to play the role of Arohi Sharma in Balaji Telefilms' Kitani Mohabbat Hai.The show became extremely popular. After it went off air in 2009, it was brought back for another season.Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season2 which went off air in 2011.

During 2009-2010 she played Pratiksha/Kajol in Sony Entertainment Television India's dailysoap Pyaar Ka Bandhan

In 2010, she participated in Star Plus' celebrity dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha with Karan Kundra.

In 2012, She is also did a cameo in the Balaji Telefilms soap opera The Serial on Channel V where she played herself.

Kritika recently essayed the lead role of Dr. Nidhi Verma-Mathur, a bubbly, vivacious and talented young Dr. who fell in love with a doctor 18 years older than her, in Sony Entertainment Television India's dailysoap Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.

After Kuch Toh Log Kahenge concluded in March-2013, Kritika played Veera in Life OK's Ek Thhi Naayka which was a mini series for promotion of Balaji Telefilms' Ek Thi Daayan

Kritika Kamra - the name evokes a thousand sweet memories. She is every KTLKian/AshNian's heart's angel. We the KTLKians have fallen in love with this stunning personality - the beauty with the brains.
Many KTLKians first came across her acting while watching the promos of KTLK and were instantly drawn towards her vibrant personality. When the show unfolded on the 3rd October 2011, the male lead Mr. Mohnish Behl was an established star but still this bubbly, vivacious, ever smiling, naughty but hottie girl took the KTLKians by storm
and viewers were blown away completely.
Her spontaneous acting par excellence playing the role of a life time as a young intern Dr. Nidhi and arresting the attention of the formidable Dean Dr. Ashutosh was awe-inspring. The TRPs at that time spoke volumes of the show's awesome popularity - the viewers were drawn to it like a magnet mainly because of the show's lead pair, a unique story, mind blowing dialogues and a very melodious title song which caught everybody's imagination.

Whenever we watched her throughout the 346 episodes, she displayed every emotion in the book. Her display of anger when she first meets
her love on the road, her naughtiness at the hospital, her love and
care at home, her friendship with Anji were all wonderfully
portrayed that many a times the viewers felt she will beat
any Bollywood Heroine in the sweepstakes.
The process of falling in love was the hallmark of her acting abilities - her most expressive eyes conveyed every single emotion with superb flair. When the male lead changed, like a true artist she continued to give her best and gave us KTLKians/AshNians some astounding memories with which we continue to worship them. The Kerala track and the days
before that brought out the best in her - she carried the viewers
along with her in her pain, pathos and poignancy.

The charismatic chemistry that she shared with Mr. Sharad Kelkar
has been the highlight of Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and they together
took us along the most beautiful and ethereal trail from where
we never want to return.
She looked the most divine in the AshNi wedding track and gave us such delightful memories to reminisce. Her role went into a major transformation post wedding but she ably managed to retain her charm and grace in any situation. The days of agony after the wedding and
in the numerous tracks after that, the troubles in Dr. Nidhi's life
wrenched viewers' hearts.

For entire journey called Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, she gave her
everything to the show and when she announced her desire to quit
from the show, the makers had no hesitation but to bring the curtains down putting us all in grief. Her contribution to this show was
stupendous and she was the only person to be present in all the 346 episodes. The role of Dr. Nidhi was tailor made for this extraordinarily talented beauty and she enacted her part with such superb finesse
and poise on her dainty shoulders. Hats off to this extraordinarily
