New show after Kaun Banega Crorepati 7

Boogie Woogie is ready to come back on the telly tube after 4 years on its mother channel Sony Entertainment Television. This time it will not be hosted by Naved Jafferi and Ravi Behl, in fact to add the glamour quotient in the show, makers are getting the very talented and glamorous Sargun Mehta and small wonder Amrita Mukherjee.

Sargun had recently bagged the role of Ganga from Sriti Jha in Balika Vadhu and Amrita is popularly known as Pihu of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Amrita has already won millions of hearts by her cute acting as a daughter of Priya and Ram Kapoor. Amrita is now all set to co-host this season of Boogie Woogie which apparently is going to knock off with Kids Championship. Who else could have done this better, right? Amrita is bubbly, sweet and super-duper adorable girl who will share the stage with Sargun. Amrita will surely become the high light of the show as she will represent today's generation of kids who are very confident and multi-talented.

Sargun on the other hand has tasted the reality shows by participating in Nach Baliye 5 and Comedy Circus, she was also an integral part of Kya Hua Tera Vada and played the lead role in Phulwa. Now we will see her as a host in India's first Dance reality show. Sargun is really excited for a fresh chapter in her life and is proud to be associated with such a legendary reality series which became a house hold name since its launch.

Talking about the judges then let me tell you the previous hosts Ravi and Naved will sit on the judging chair along with Javed Jafferey. Hmm...cool looks like they are going to have a gala time judging the contestants and pulling Sargun's leg. Many names like Mahi Vij, Shweta Pandit, andRakshit Wahi were floating around but the producers decided on Sargun Mehta's name.

Boogie Woogie started in 1995 and now after a gap of 4 years the show will take off on 7 December. The show will take the weekend time slot of Kaun Banega Crorepati 7. This season of Boogie Woogie will start with an interesting Kids championship aged between 6-14 years. Great to begin with isn't it? Currently there are no kids reality show on TV, Star Plus's Junior MasterChef is also over so I believe it is a good time to start. Boogie Woogie had always encouraged kids to show their talent. These days mostly all the kids are super talented and they love doing different dance forms. The format of the show will remain the same with few unique changes so that the audiences get the maximum dose of entertainment.

Well, we do welcome back the oldest and the longest reality show of India and wish luck to Sargun and Amrita for anchoring!!! KBC has garnered very good TRPs for Sony and now the responsibility will lie on Boogie Woogie. Hope it gets a good response from the audiences.
