has anyone read naba bidhan novel???

I hav heard tht this serial is actually a novel based story n tht novel is a bengali novel naba bidhan written by sarathchandra chattopadhyay who also wrote devdaas...I tried searchng summary fr this novel bt cudnt find anythng...othr thn tht this writer hav strong female characters n he just makes flawed characters as such tht ppl feel fr them... n it ll ultimately b a love triangle thts wat i read

and i read NABA BIDHAN TOO  ...though did not know TUMHARI PAKHI z based on dat story .

its not totally based on NABA BIDAN ...just the theme z borrowed from NABA BIDHAN .
in main story SOILESH (ayusman) is a professor ,who was married before going abroad for studies n his father had some prob wid d father of his wife so the girl was sent to her MAYKA ...after coming back he never contacted her n got married again .giving birth to one hild his wife died ...he was about to marry again but somwhow his frnd came to know about his first marriegand disliked his act so he goes in search of his first wife ...

and it has a happy ending :)

i've not read d novel...but the show also seems loosly based on the story of Dhola-Marru a rajasthanni folk tale!!!
