Qatil Pilot - Part 1
5th May, 2007.
A plane has entered Jaisalmer air space. Its captain pilot Ravindra is narrated a tale of the ghost of a pilot spotted here, by his assistant. His assistant goes for a few minutes and Ravindra spots a jet plane just coming on his way, there was a pilot inside, with a burnt face. Ravindra covers his eyes in fear and screams when his assistant comes back and the pilot is nowhere to be found.
28th Feb 2010.
A plane is on the height of 28000 ft and an air hostess Sheila spots the same jet pilot and faints.
Present day.
KD, Srman and Sunaina get in a plane. KD has his seat in the Business class whereas Srman and Sunaina move ahead in another class. A man Rohachak gets fever in the other class and hence KD exchanges his seat with him. An air hostess Namita is teased by another passenger in the business class, a young politician Nishiket Nagar. She's consoled by a male attendant Rohan and another hostess Tina seems jealous.
Meanwhile, pilots Albert and Soham Kashyap in the cockpit are puzzled seeing the fog. The air hostess Tina offers Rohachak juice when Nishiket asks for Namita in a very cheap language. She goes to Namita and informs her same. Rohachak sees a pilot on the wing of the plane and screams.
A kid asks KD for his autograph and then demands to narrate a horror story. KD tells him about the tale related to Jaisalmer air space. In 1971 an Indian fighter destroyed 20 Pak jet planes alone. Later his plane crashed due to a technical problem and it's said that he's seen even now. Srman rubbishes these rumors.
Rohachak sees the pilot again and Tina assures him nobody is there. He demands a blanket and shuts the window. Later when he re-opens the window, he spots the pilot and the hostess comes again. Nishiket is irritated by him. Namita and Rohan get romantic for a while. KD gets a phone on his seat and assumes it's of Rohachak. Srman approaches the business class to give his phone to him when the air hostess takes the phone and goes to hand it over to Rohachak.
Rohachak sees the pilot yet again and screams. There's an argument between him and Nishiket. The hostess goes in and catches Namita and Rohan. She expresses her anger as she alone is handling the two passengers. Rohan goes to calm Rohachak and gives a cold stare to Nishiket.
After sometimes, Namita goes in the business class and screams seeing a blood strained knife in Rohachak's hand, he was standing near a stabbed Nishiket. All the people rush to the business class and Rohachak says he didn't kill the man, pilot did.
Scene shifts to KD's office where he, Srman and Sunaina are discussing the case. KD wonders why Rohachak would kill an unknown man. He goes to meet him and Rohachak reveals that he was seeing an Indian pilot continuously. He shut the window and later when re-opened, he saw a shadow and turned around to see the pilot stabbing Nishiket. Later the pilot threw the knife towards him.
Scene shifts to the court. Jaisawal keeps a point that nobody was in the class except two men and the knife has Rohachak's fingerprints. KD tells him that he gave his seat to Rohachak and questions why would he kill the politician. Jaisawal explains that Rohachak is a social activist and hates politicians a lot. Recently he had launched a campaign against a politician who even sent goons to kill him. So his hatred towards the politicians would have been a reason. Rohachak claims that pilot has killed Nishiket. KD tells the court that more people have spotted the pilot, Captain Ravindra and air hostess Sheila.
Ravindra tells the court about what happened five years ago and Sheila does the same. KD states there must have been a strong reason behind this. Jaisawal reveals that Sheila went to the doctor after she saw the pilot and her medical reports state that she saw it due to the side effects of a medicine. Then in Ravindra's case, he states that it must have happened due to a mental stress as he was driving since last 17 hours. Ravindra looks unsure.
KD then questions that how Ravindra could take a knife with him, and it looks quite old. Rohachak tells him that this is the pilot's knife. Soham Kashyap identifies the knife as Namita's and reveals she purchased it in Dubai. KD calls her and wonders how security officers didn't see the knife? Namita reveals that there was a rush on the gate and she was allowed to go without checking as she was a crew member. KD further asks where she kept it. Namita replies she kept it in her bag, in the front galley. It's revealed that Namita was Nishiket's secretary before. She admits and reveals he was a very bad man. Rohachak supports her and says he heard Nishiket making cheap remarks.
KD doubts she killed the man but she denies it. Jaisawal asks her if she saw the pilot, she denies it. KD then assumes that maybe his client assumed her to be the pilot. KD shows the internal figure of the plane and explains that there were two ways to enter the business class, one from the back and another from front i.e. the cockpit. He calls Captain Albert in the witness box and asks him if he went to the business class. Albert denies it. KD tells him that flight was on auto-pilot mode on his side for five minutes from 8:22 - 8:27. Albert replies he was taking a nap then. Jaisawal reminds KD that his client saw an Indian pilot and Albert is foreigner.
KD questions Albert if Kashyap went in the business class. Jaisawal tells KD that there's no proof about Kashyap being absent even for a minute. Kashyap too denies he left the cockpit ever. Albert says maybe he's right as even a slight noise would have disturbed his sleep.
Jaisawal then claims that Rohachak must be having a psychological problem. Judge agrees and orders the police to take Rohachak for a medical test.
KD in his office thinks about the case and utters it's strange.
Scene shifts to Albert and Soham in the plane cockpit. Both of them spot the fighter jet approaching and close their eyes. The jet then vanishes but the controls of their plane stops working and Albert utters they are going to crash!
