Episode opens with the view of a jungle in Prem Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Five men are in the jungle and suddenly they hear a scary animal like voice. Someone says there's a Pishach in this jungle. All the men run away but four are caught by the Pishach. Birju is the lone survivor who somehow manages to run away. He runs towards the villagers and faints with fear. After gaining consciousness he reveals that the pishach killed four men.
The villagers decide to go to a Tantrik. Tantrik boasts that the pishach is not an ordinary one but "Rakht Pishach" who sucks every single drop of blood. The villagers place their jewelry, money in front of the Tantrik and beg him to save their lives. Tantrik goes to the jungle with the villagers and claims he'll destroy the pishach. Suddenly, all hear the pishach's voice and he appears. Tantrik quakes with fear and pushes a man towards the pishach who falls prey to the pishach and Tantrik runs away. Pishach drags the man behind the bushes.
Scene alters to KD's office where Birju is present. KD arrives and Birju tells him his story. He tells them that he didn't believe in these things but he himself saw the pishach. He then reveals that the Tantrik blamed his mother for calling the pishach via black magic and instead of helping him, the policeman Dubey obeyed the village head and arrested his mother. Through a flashback he tells KD that all the belongings of his house were destroyed by the villagers and they beat him and his mother. Inspector Dubey came and advised the village head to stop the villagers or there will be a police case on them. Dubey assures the village head he's with him and arrests Chandrika, Birju's mother.
Birju further tells him that he managed to escape somehow and Varun's uncle Jhilmil sent him here. KD orders Varun and Srman to go to Birju's village, he'll come later. Varun and Srman go to Birju's village accompanied by him and Srman wonders why all are staring at them.
Varun asks Srman to come with him, to observe the village as KD is going to arrive tomorrow morning. A lady Gauri comes there and Birju seems irritated by her presence. She says she's here to welcome the guests and asks if they need anything. Birju asks her to leave.
Varun and Srman move around the village talking to the men and women. A man favors Chandrika and says she's a kind woman when the other interrupts and warns him about the consequences he'd face if he favors her. Varun asks a woman that what Chandrika has to do with the pishach. The woman answers she's the one who called the pishach. On being asked how she knows this, she tells him that the Tantrik told them. When the pishach came in front of him, he understood that Chandrika has called the pishach.
At night, someone opens the window of the room in which Varun and Srman are sleeping. Varun senses it and goes out but finds nobody. Srman insists him to come in. KD arrives in the morning. Varun and Srman report the matters to him. KD is informed that the police didn't free Chandrika and said that the panchayat will decide everything. KD catches Gauri peeping in and she asks him if he needs anything. KD tells her he'll tell her if he needs anything and she goes. KD orders Varun and Srman to investigate about the Tantrik and he leaves for the police station with Birju.
He arrives at the police station and introduces himself. Dubey tells him he's just wasting his time here as this isn't a criminal case. KD questions him why he arrested Chandrika and he answers she did black magic and he couldn't deny the panchayat so arrested her. KD reminds him there's the same law for all and hence FIR is needed to arrest anyone. Dubey shows him the FIR with the fingerprints of 15 men and says the villagers aren't educated. KD goes in to meet Chandrika.
She reveals that she always treated people with medicines; "Jhaad-Phoonk" was just an excuse. She's being blamed because of the Tantrik. KD asks her from where she learnt to treat people? Chandrika replies she worked in "Aanganbaadi" and there she used to assist a female doctor. She got to learn from her only. Dubey comes there and says there's a panchayat after an hour. KD tells Chandrika he'll try his level best to rescue her.
Varun and Srman go in the Tantrik's house where he's making a fool of the villagers. He tells them he'll free them from Chandrika's curse and takes a yellow powder in his palm. He then tells them that if this turns into blood after he applies water on it, this would mean they aren't free yet and the pishach will kill them all. He takes water and applies it on the powder on his palm which turns red. Varun and Srman laugh aloud and go near the Tantrik. Varun tells them all that this is a simple chemical reaction, Haldi powder turns red when mixed with soap water, it isn't blood. He even shows them the reaction but nobody believes them.
Birju goes to a woman Malti's house to seek help in his mother's favor. He tells her that KD asked him to meet the villagers who respect his mother. Malti favors Chandrika and Birju leaves to call KD.
Varun and Srman decide to go in the jungle but Dubey stops them. Varun decides not to go then and leaves taking Srman.
KD arrives at Malti's house with Birju. Malti changes her mind suddenly and refuses to believe she favored Chandrika. Birju is taken aback to see the sudden change, KD too wonders how she changed suddenly.
In the panchayat, all the villagers agree to push Chandrika out of the village. KD enters and states a person can't be stated criminal before the crime is proved. He says he would defend Chandrika and manages to get two days from the village head despite of oppositions.
Srman is checking Birju's house for a clue to prove Chandrika innocent. He gets a small box and shows it to KD. KD tells him this isn't enough and decides to go to jungle, at night. Two men, Gopi and his friend hear the pishach's voice. Gopi's friend is caught and taken away by the pishach. Gopi screams and hides when KD, Varun and Srman rush towards him hearing his scream. Gopi tells them the pishach took his friend away, in the jungle. KD and Srman move towards the jungle and Varun stays with Gopi who begs him to drop him home. Suddenly, the pishach appears and Varun struggles to fight him. He's unsuccessful and screams to call KD when the pishach is about to bite his neck. KD and Srman rush towards Varun.
