Indira and Maahi entered inside their
suite and on seeing the room,Maahi exclaimed,"Mummy ye to kitna beautiful room hai.Hum yehi rahenge?"Indira
said,"Ha."Maahi asked,"Hum neeche bare se restaurant mein khaana
bhi khaayenge?"Indira replied,"Ha."Maahi
then became sad and said,"Papa hote to
kitna achcha hota hai na?"Indira said,"Jabse
papa ke saath rehne lagi hai tabse mummy ko to bhul hi gayi.Achcha hai na ab
phir se pehle jaise hum dono milkar masti karenge."Maahi agreed.Indira
said,"Abhi jaakar nahalo aur thora rest
karlo.Phir hume aur Kabir sir ko vo waale company ke office jaana hai."Maahi
said,"Mujhe neend nehi aa rahi hai
mummy."Indira said,"Thik hai to
nahaalo,main tumhaare kapre nikaal deti hu."Maahi went to have a
shower.With a few hours,Maahi,Indira and Kabir were ready to go out into that
compny.After reaching there,Kabir informed the MD of their arrival.The MD
himself appeared in front of them and said,"Assalavalaaikum!Khushaamadid!Welcome to
Dubai Mr Chaudhry!"His eyes fall on Indira and Maahi.He assumed them to be
Kabir's wife and daughter.He said,"Assalavaalaikum bhabhi jaan!Assalavalaaikum
bachchi!Welcome to Dubai!Hope you all are not facing any problem in here.Aapka bachchi bohot pyaari hai."The
MD patted Maahi's cheek.Kabir and Indira were very embarrassed on hearing the
way the MD addressed them.But before they could clarify anything,Maahi said,"Ye meri mummy hai,par ye mere papa nehi
hai."The MD looked confused and Kabir clarified,"She is Miss Indira Sharma,the Manager of my company and she is
Maahi,Miss Sharma's daughter."Kabir then said to Indira,"Miss Sharma he is the MD of this company
Mr Aslam Sheikh."Indira and Aslam shook hands and Aslam apologized,"Muaafi
mohtarma!Iam sorry I mistook you."Indira replied,"Its ok,Mr Sheikh!It happens!"Aslam said,"Let's go into my cabin and sign the contract.We'll later discuss about
the plan."Indira said to Maahi,"Maahi
beta yaha se kahi mat jaana main abhi meeting mein ja rahi hu."Maahi nodded
her head.Aslam called his PA and asked her to take care of Maahi till she was
here.After the meeting,when Indira came out,she found Maahi was not there where
she left her.Indira was worried a little bit.She enquired about Maahi and
looked for her here and there and found she was coming from the washroom.Indira
asked,"Aise bina bole kaha chali gayi
thi?"Maahi replied,"Mujhe zor se
susu lagi thi,isiliye toilet mein gayi thi."Indira said,"Aur main dar gayi thi."Kabir said,"Chaliye Miss Sharma hotel chalte hai.Its
lunch time now aur I think you should rest aur Maahi beta hum teeno shaam ko
ghumne challenge.Ok?"Maahi nodded her head.They all left for the hotel.
During the
lunch,Indira ordered some Indian food for Maahi,but she rejected it and asked
to order some that.Indira warned her that if she is unable to finish her
food,then Indira will not consume on her behalf and from the next time,she had
to eat Indian food.While ordering,Indira was surprised seeing Maahi knows the
names of many thai dishes and after ordering she was shocked to find Maahi
eating them very comfortably.Indira asked,"Ye
sab kaha se seekha?"Maahi replied,"Main
aur papa aksar bahaar khaana khaane jaate hai.Unhone seekhaya aur ye bhi kaha
ke har jagah par Indian khaana na bhi mil sakta hai."Indira said,"Papa ne bilkul hi high society element
banaakar rakh chora hai tujhe.Hai na?"Kabir replied,"Achcha hi to kiya na Miss Sharma,isse faayda Maahi ko hi hoga.To Maahi
is baar aapne kya shopping karne ka plan banaaya hai?"Maahi said,"Dher saare toys aur kapre.Papa ne kaha hai
ke jo kuch bhi pasand aaye vo kharid lu."Indira said,"Tu aur tere papa."Maahi made a face and said,"Mere papa is dunia ke best papa hai."Indira too made a face to her
and all completed their lunch.In the evening,three of them went for shopping.
In the shopping mall,Maahi
remained open mouthed on seeing such a huge mall.Maahi screamed,"Mummyyy!!!Itna bara hai ye main kho
jaaungi!!!"Indira laughed out loud and said,"Nehi khoyegi main hu na."Maahi said,"Pehle papa ko phone karo aur yaha bulaao,tabtak main yaha nehi
aaungi."Indira said,"Papa koi hawa
hai kya jo abhi aa jaayenge?Aur papa yaha aakar kya karenge?"She replied,"Papa yaha aayenge to mujhe apne goadi mein
ya peeth par utha lenge tab main nehi khoungi."Indira said,"Mera haath pakar kar rakh nehi khoyegi."Maahi
held her mother's hand tightly.Kabir told them tht they could move and see
things and after one or two hours,they will meet at the entrance.Now it became
totally impossible to stop Maahi,as she was already taken away by the glowing
items of the mall.Maahi was running here and there and seeing things and since
she was holding Indira's hand so she too was also running behind Maahi.Maahi
pointed at some dresses and asked,"Mummy
main ye kharidlu?"Indira replied,"Pata
hai iski prize kya hai?Delhi ke shopping malls se bhi kahi guna zyaada."Maahi
said,"Papa ne bola hai,jo dil mein aaye
kharidlu aur kaha hai price ko dekh kar peeche na hatu.Main to kharidungi."Without
seeking permission from Indira,she entered inside and asked the salesgirl to
pack those dresses.The girl packed the dresses and made the bill.Maahi gave
Sameer's credit card and she made the payments and gave the card and the
dresses to Maahi.After that,they stopped in front of the toy shop.Now in that
shop,Maahi loved a soft dolphin and a king size huge teddy.Maahi looked at
Indira for her approval,but Indira didn't accept and said,"Beta isko hum ghar kaise lekar jaayenge?Nehi lekar ja sakte aur tum
isko akele utha bhi nehi sakti."Maahi made a face and was very sad.Indira
too was sad on seeing Maahi's face and she took the credit card from her hand
and then purchased the soft dolphin for her and gave it to Maahi and said,"Abhi tumko ye bhi pasand aaya tha na to
hum ye le sakte hai.Ye lo rakkho aur abhi mummy ko ek achchi si smile do."Maahi
smiled.Indira said,"Tumhaare khushi ke
liye hi to main papa ke saath rehti hu na to tum meri choti moti baate to maan
hi sakti ho.Main teri khushi ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hu beta."Maahi
nodded her head.They were walking around and seeing things,when Maahi's eyes
fall on a photoframe.She said,"Mummy
mujhe ye kharidna hai.Andar chalo."Indira asked,"Photo frame???Kyu???"She replied,"Maine decide kiya tha ke jab papa mil jaayenge na to main ek bari si
frame kharidungi jaha mere,aapke aur papa ki joint photo hogi aise hi bare
frame mein.Par aap to bohot gussa hai na papa se to jabtak aap dono ki
friendship nehi ho jaati tabtak ye frame khaali mere paas rahegi."Indira
asked,"Aur agar kabhi friendship hui hi
nehi to?"Maahi said,"Aise kaise nehi
hogi?Jab main Sneha se naraaz ho jaati thi tab aap mujhse kehti thi na ke dosto
mein fight hoti hai,to papa aur aap bhi college friends hai na to aapme fight
hui waapas thik bhi ho jaayegi."Indira sat on her kness in front of her and
said,"Beta...sach bat ye hai ke tumhaare
papa...tumhaare papa sirf tumse pyar karte hai mujhse nehi."Maahi said,"Aap kehti ho na main jitna papa jaisi hu
utni aap jaisi bhi hu,to agar vo mujhse pyar karte hai to aap se bhi karte
hai.Aap bhi to kehti hai hum jinse pyar karte hai,hum unse jhagarte bhi hai."Indira
stood up and said,"You are too small
beta.Ye sab tum nehi samjhogi.Tumhe vo frame lena hai na chalo."Indira and
Maahi went inside and purchased the frame.They came to the entrance and found
Kabir waiting for them.Kabir had 2 git packets in his hand.He gave those to
Indira and said,"Vo isme aapke liye ek
saree hai aur Maahi ke liye ek dress.Mr Aslam ne jo party di hai parso,main
chahta hu ke aap dono waha ye dress pehenkar jaaye."Maahi and Indira
thanked him.Indira asked,"Aapne ye
sab...?"Kabir replied,"Its my
pleasure Indira.Vaise bhi aapne bhi hamaare company ke liye bohot kuch
kiya.Yehi samajh lijiye its a token of gratitude."Indira smiled and they
all left.
Within
next 2 days,the deal had been signed and the plan to implement the project had
also been made.After that,Kabir,Indira and Maahi travelled a lot the whole of
Dubai.2 days later,Maahi and Indira were getting ready for the party.Indira
wore the saree and Maahi wore the frock given by Kabir.While Indira was making
Maahi's hair,she said,"Pata hai Maahi
aaj ye frock pehenkar bohot pretty lag rahi hai."Maahi said,"Mummy bhi aaj ye saree pehenkar bohot
beautiful lag rahi hai.Ekdam Miss Universe."Indira laughed.Maahi said,"Aapko pata hai agar papa aaj yaha hote na
to kalwaala jo teddy hai,vo abhitak mere ghar zarur pohoch chuka hota.Unko koi
cheez bolni ne parti,main ek maangti hu,vo 10 laakar dete hai."Indira said,"Main jaanti hu aur pata hai,papa ko na jab
vo mere saath college mein parte the,tab unko bacche bilkul bhi pasand nehi
the.Bachcho ko dekhte hi naak sikur lete the."Maahi said,"Ooo tabhi jab main bina jaane papa ke
saath Delhi bhaag kar aayi thi na tab vo mere saath aise ajeeb behave karte the
na jaise main koi monster hu aur vo pata nehi kahake angel hai,vo mujhe hamesha
kehte the ke agar main aisi hu to pata nehi mere mummy papa kaise honge.Main ek
devil hu devil tabhi to main unko monster uncle bulaati thi."Indira laughed
and said,"Sameer ne tujhe devil kaha hai
na aur saath mujhe bhi gaaliya di hai na ruk ja main Delhi jaakar tere papa ki
class lungi."Maahi giggled.At that moment,they heard a knock on the door.Indira
opened the door and found Kabir standing.The moment,Kabir's eyes fall on Indira,he
could not even blink his eyes and kept on staring at her.He said,"You are looking very beautiful Miss
Sharma."Indira lowered her gaze and said,"Thanks."She welcomed him inside and he said to Maahi,"Aaj Maahi bohot pretty lag rahi hai aur
agar ab Maahi aur uski mummy ready ho gayi hai to chale."Maahi nodded her
head.
The party was at one of the biggest hotels of Dubai.When Kabir,Indira
and Maahi arrived outside the hotel,they came outside the car and Kabir gave
his arm to Indira so that she could grab it,which,however,Maahi didn't like.She
said,"Aapko pata hai mummy,yaha aaj
aapke liye bohot bara surprise hai."Indira asked,"Surprise???Kaisa surprise???"Maahi replied,"Tabhi papa aapko budhdhu bolte hai.Off oh!Agar abhi bola to surprise
kaise hoga?"Kabir and Indira were confused,but however they entered inside.On
reaching inside,they were welcomed by Aslam and his family.Aslam's
wife,Nadira,said,"Main aadhi Hindustani
hu.Meri ammi yaha ki aur mere abba Hindustan ke,isliye jab kisi bhi Hindustani
se mulaaqat hoti hai,to dil hi khush ho jaata hai.Mere abba hume lekar hamesha
ke liye yaha settle ho gaye aur mera nikaah inse ho gaya."Indira said,"Sunkar bohot achcha laga ke aapko
hindustaniyo se itna lagaav hai."They laughed and had a talk whereas Maahi
was busy in having ice-cream.Nadira left and went to her husband and Kabir and
Maahi came to Indira.At that moment,Aslam gathered everyones attention to say
something.Aslam took the mike and said,"May
I have your attention please!Today I want to tell you about the reason of my
party.I have a hotel and resort in Mumbai,which for the last 5 years had been
awarded the best hotels and resorts of the year in a row and now it has been
awarded as the most beautiful hotels and resorts of the decade."Everyone
clapped.He said,"No!No!No!Iam not the
only person to deserve this applause,but rather the one and only who has the
total contribution in making the hotel reach upto this height.The man,under
whom the hotel was constructed,the man,who created magic.The party is to give
honour to him.So please welcome,the Guest of Honour of this party,the Managing
Director of Diwan Builders in India,Mr Sameer Diwan!"The glass of cold
dring fall from Indira's hand,the moment she heard his name.Within a
few,seconds,gathered with all the claps and applauses,a man walked inside in a
total black attire from somewhere with a smile in his lips.All the eyes were
stuck on him.He went to Aslam and had a hug.Maahi,on seeing him was so excited
that she could not resist herself and yelled,"Papa!Ye mere papa hai!"Maahi,ran towards Sameer calling him.When
she reached upto him,she called,"Papa!"Sameer's
eyes fall on her and he immediately lowered a bit and opened his arms and Maahi
jumped over him.Sameer picked her up in his arms and she gave him a tight
hug,leaving Indira shocked and hurt and Kabir shocked and spellbound or in one
word thunderstricken at the same time.
