My take on the first episode

Firstly a garma garm welcome to everybody and me!!! I'm new too.

I have been waiting for bigg biss to end so that this show can be aired!!!

Phew the wait is over and boy am I glad.

The episode starts with what is later on shown as Zain taking a call and jumping out of his bed on the word marrige. We then see a parrallel entry of what we know is that of Aliyah. Notice the differnce between the two clip. We automatically assume that:

Zain= rich, spoilt brat that has no 'tehzeeb'
Aliyah= poor, religious girl that is very grounded and rooted.

But there is a connection between the two and that is Zain's father whom they both love.

Zain has an older brother who has two wives, a common thing in the muslim commu ity in different parts of the world. It is shown that although he married because he didnt have a son but becuase he was also having an affair.

Now from the first episode we can kinda tell that the production house have already started looking at a number of things present in the muslim community.
1. Bigra huwa ladka needs to marry
2. Parents wants a naik bahu
3. A son is important
4. Class, sab se bada rupaiya
5. Marrying more than once.

How the writers will highlight and treat these issues is yet to be seen. Although they seem to be the themes that will run through the show.

I was also waiting eagerly for that crap BB to end so that this show starts 😆
First episode mainly focused on Zain & his family.
That Bigamy thing is something which I've seen for the first time on TV.
But dont know if they have planned to give any message through that track.

I had read in an article that
the makers have taken inspiration
from Pak serials & so the show will
have very simple & authentic feel to
it with minimum drama.
Which is why I dont think it will rock
the Trp charts.
But its good as I hate all the high
Trp shows which have never ending
chaos & loud drama.
So I just hope the channel doesnt
interfere with the storyline & ruin it.
Coz Colors has the reputation of
interefering with the storyline of
their shows after 4-5 months & then
completely destroying it which they
have done with many of their shows
in the past.
So I wont get attached to this show.

I thought the first episode showed a lot of promise and it definitely has me intrigued. I too find that there are similarities between this show and the Pakistani drama Humsafar. The lead in the Pakistani drama are shown to be cousins marrying each other because of their parents wishes because one's health was deteriorating. Although that is a common practice in Muslim cultures along with having a second wife, I've never seen that take place in an Indian telly serial and I wonder how people are going to react. 

Agree..but i have a feeling that Bigamy Track will be in funny taste...they ll not go on serious path...Anyways..besides that Zain and Aliyah Chemistry is Sizzling...that too from just a small precap
