Vamsam Episode 170, Wednesday 22/01/14

Arukani narrates to the lawyer of what happened. The lawyer says that DP is a key person then. The five then go to the police station. The inspector says that he will question Nagu but tells them to take their next steps through the court. The goons find someone called Shakthi in a hospital but it seems to be a different one. Sugunti causes a stir to take her husband away from there. She asks why everyone is rushing to get Annachi out as he is only arrested and not to be sentenced to death tomorrow. MV gives her a slap as Thenu and KV split them up. The inspector talks to Annachi alone and Annachi says that he knows how to come out of this false accusation and he will.

Vamsam Episode 171, Thursday 23/01/14

Sugunti talks with her mom who tells Sugunti to go to town as quick as possible. Sugunti starts a fight with her husband to have their own family and house. MV says no can do as their family situation is bad. He tells her to get lost if she wants but he and their children are staying here. The goons come to Nagu and PM and inform them a dear body has been recovered nearby the accident place and that it might be Shakthi's. Nagu and PM are both happy. Sugunthi, next morning, is getting ready for their family to leave. MV again denies. Sugunthi jumps in the well, rescued by MV and this sparks Thenu to persuade MV to agree to Sugunthi's demands. MV reluctantly agrees. DP wakes up but cannot remember Nagu or Ramamani.

Vamsam Episode 172, Friday 24/01/14

Apparently DP is suffering from amnesia and seeing familiar people and situation will help him be cured faster. PM tells Nagu that at least DP won't come against them in this case. He also says that the dead body found belongs to Shakthi. Nagu says that they need to give it a proper burial to keep the suspicions mute. MV and Sugunthi see Annachi and share their chidren's sufferings in school as they are being teased for being grandchildren of a murderer. Their only option is to go out of town to which Annachi reluctantly and emotionally agrees. MV and Sugunthi have an emotional farewell. As they are about to leave Thangam and Uthra come. Thangam expresses her depression that Annachi is arrested. She expresses her anger that this information was hidden from her. She also expresses her frustration that her sons have done nothing to that witch Nagavalli. Ranga says that they must not be hasty but be calm. Thangam says that no-one shall do anything but she herself will go to Nagu, kill her and go to jail.

Vamsam Episode 173, Saturday 25/01/14

 Thenu calms Thangam and sits her down. She stops Thangam from going to Nagu. Thangam tells Uthra to get ready to go meet Annachi in jail. MV stops himself from telling Thangam that they are getting ready to leave but Sugunthi forces him. Thangam and Uthra persuade MV to stay. MV as he goes inside, is stopped by Sugunthi who says that she will leave along with her two sons and he can say. Thangam tells them to go realising Sugunthi's dominance. They leave.

Ranga is talking to the doctor regarding about taking Shakthi's dead body home. Nagu, her husband and PM come, they start a fight with Ranga. Nagu says that she is an aunt to Shakthi while Ranga is no-one. Nagu's husband and Ranga get into a fight. The doctor stops it and tells them to sort it out in a police station. Thangam, Uthra and Thenu come to see Annachi.

Vamsam Episode 174, Monday 27/01/14

Thangam asks why Annachi hid all this to which he replies that he didn't want her depressed and worried about this. Uthra says that she will kill Nagavalli and end this to which Annachi replies that fate is playing its game currently they we need patience to overcome the fate. Thangam tells Annachi about MV moving out to which he reveals the meeting between him and MV & Sugunthi. Thangam says that she will always stand by Annachi's side.

Thangam & co are paying respect to Shakthi's family. Ranga comes and calls Thangam to police station to claim Shakthi's body. Thangam, KV and Ranga leave. Meanwhile, Nagu, her husband and PM are already there persuading the inspector. Nagu says that Thangam has no right as Annachi killed Shakthi in the first place to which she replies that truth will eventually come out and everyone will know the real criminal. The four men get into a fight. The inspector breaks it up. Another inspector comes and gives a letter from court which gives the right for Annachi's family to take Shakthi's body as Annachi has appealed already. Thangam, Ranga and KV leave with their victory face.

Ramamani is showing photos to DP to jog his memeory but no success. She shows him Shakthi's photo which goes unrecgonised. PM spots this, isolates Ramamani and tactfully persuades her not to give DP these little exercises.
