I have seen her before, but could not recall the actress who is playing as the public prosecutor in this week's and last week's episodes?

Even I was like, I have seen her somewhere...and then I was reminded of Papad Pol! 

she was in papad pol and sajan re jhooth mat bolo on sab 

Yeh and she also did Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai on Sahara One.
