Shraddha Kapoor is back in Milan Talkies'!

Shraddha Kapoor cast opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in 'Milan Talkies'

It seems Ekta Kapoor's Milan Talkies will roll soon. The makers have finalized Ayushmann Khurrana, and Shraddha Kapoor could very well be cast opposite him.

Looks like Shraddha is back in the project. Earlier, she had replaced Priyanka Chopra when Shahid Kapoor was the hero of Milan Talkies. But later, Shraddha apparently decided not to do the film as she was already doing another film with Shahid (read Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider ).

At that time, Tigmanshu Dhulia, the director of the film also confirmed Shraddha Kapoor's exit from Milan Talkies. He added that the decision to not work with the actress was an in-house one.

However, now with the change in the cast and the movie getting delayed, Shraddha doesn't seem to have any problem doing the project. So she's stepped back in.

Meanwhile, she has also signed the sequel of ABCD, opposite Varun Dhawan. The movie is expected to go on the floors soon.

Shraddha Kapoor is already doing The Villain for Ekta Kapoor. The movie has Sidharth Malhotra opposite her.

Couple of the Week: Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor

This new year BollyCurry brings back the spotlight on much loved onscreen and off-screen couples of Bollywood. The leading couples are an integral part of any film and the fraternity itself. More or less, they are the much needed x-factor that help make a movie successful with critics and

audiences alike. Hence, this week, caught under the radar is a couple who made many go gaga over their breathtaking chemistry. Yes! We are talking about the dashing Aditya Roy Kapurand the beautiful Shraddha Kapoor.

Aditya Roy Kapur, the younger brother of Siddharth Roy Kapur, the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, debuted back in 2009 with Vipul Shah's London Dreams. But it wasn't until last year that he rose to fame withAashiqui 2, a Mohit Suri directorial. Likewise, another recent debutante Shraddha Kapoor also belongs to the film fraternity through her father Shakti Kapoor, and shot to stardom with the same film,Aashiqui 2.

Aashiqui 2 is about the journey of Rahul (Aditya), an established singer on a downward spiral due to his alcohol addiction and Arohi (Shraddha), an amateur singer who he takes under his wing and catapults to fame. The movie follows the two characters through their turbulent relationship, with Rahul's struggles with anger and alcohol affecting their every move.

The film received mixed reviews from the critics, but was declared a blockbuster at the Box Office. It's commercial success is credited to the performances, music and, most importantly, the intense and heart-wrenching chemistry shared by the leads. Not only didAashiqui 2 become a blockbuster success and part of the 100 Crore Club, it has also received many nominations at various prestigious award ceremonies. So far, this year has seen the Screen Awards, the Star Guild Awards and the Big Star Entertainment Awards, and the couple have won the best couple award at all three for their impeccable performances and chemistry in the movie.

Not only did they make a wonderful reel couple in Aashiqui 2, but it is rumored that they may be a couple in real life as well. Speculations of their relationship date all the way back to the middle of 2013, but both still maintain that they are just "good friends" despite being seen together at numerous events. Maybe they will finally spill the beans on their relationship status in the upcoming episode of the extremely popular talk showKoffee with Karan!

'Aashiqui 2' bags six GiMA awards

"Aashiqui 2" led the films category of the fourth Gionee Star Global Indian Music Academy (GiMA) Awards as it walked away with six awards here.

"Aashiqui 2" led the films category of the fourth Gionee Star Global Indian Music Academy (GiMA) Awards as it walked away with six awards here.

Initiated by Wizcraft International to applaud the finest achievements in the music Industry, the ceremony hosted by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was held Monday evening.

The Aditya Roy Kapur-Shraddha Kapoor starrer movie was honoured with awards including for best film song ('Tum hi ho'), best film album, best playback singer male (Arjit Singh) and best playback singer female (Shreya Ghoshal).

"It's very special when you win an award, it reminds you that there is so much work to do, so much more music to enthrall audiences, I am very proud to be a part of this industry. 'Aashiqui 2' has definitely been the flavour of the year," Ghosal said in a statement.

The Lifetime Achievement Honour went to melody queen Asha Bhosle in the popular category for her outstanding contribution to the music industry. Music maestro Ram Narayan, considered the finest sarangi exponent in the country and the man who made it a popular instrument, was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Honour - Classical.

In the non-film category, various episodes of second season of "Coke Studio @MTV" emerged victorious.

The ceremony featured some performances by stalwarts in the music industry and Bollywood.

Asha Bhosle also paid tribute to music legend R.D. Burman with her performance on some of his most iconic songs "Mera naam shabnam", "Dum maro dum", "Gulabi chehra", and "Aa dekhe zara" among others.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha gave a spellbinding performance, and singer Usha Uthup presented a special performance with a number of songs.
