Fireworks Productions' Hum Ne Li Hai.. Shapath has fought all odds and has succeeded in carving a unique place in audiences' hearts of all ages. The interesting cop-based show today completes the unique feat of completingtwo years on Life OK.

As we know, the show which had literally bit the dust and was on the verge of shutting shop has now achieved quite a lot, be it in terms of fan-following, or its unique and interesting formula to success, which includes great efforts put by the entire team.

The team of Shapath will be having a small get-together on the sets today and will cut a cake to celebrate the special moment.

On the occasion, Tellychakkar.com talked to few people associated with the show's success.

Says the Supervising Producer, Vijay Shetty, "It has been an interesting journey being part of Shapath. The creditgoes to the entire team - writers, directors, graphics team, people behind the costumes and make-up of our characters and all others associated. It is a nice feeling to have completed two years. The future looks bright forShapath and we are in the process of coming up with new things."

Echoing the same sentiment, Baljit Chaddha, Project Head, Life OK said, "I have been on the show for one and half years now. When I entered the project, it was on the verge of shutting down. So on a personal perspective, it has been a very enriching journey starting from nowhere, to becoming the #1 show on Life OK. Through Shapath, we have redefined a new genre in India. From being a normal cop-based show, we moved in to the Dhoom 2 type of story-telling post which we even took off to the super natural genre. I would say this is a big achievement, and the entire team has been working really hard."

On the goals set for the future of Shapath, Baljit narrated, "We would now be focussing on the personal journeys of our characters, and this will be our next phase in the show."

Baljit also went on to talk about the new Jungle Series' that has been planned for the month of February 2014. "We will be focussing on a series in the jungle where our cops will be caught in a whirlpool in the jungle. We have some interesting line-ups as part of this series."

Ritesh Modi, Creative Director, Shapath on his part said, "Shapath for us has been an exciting journey. There was a time when the show was not doing well. Later, we realized that the potential of the show was immense, and this is when the formula of Shapath was derived. The Super Villain series was a big hit, post which our target was very clear, and we focussed completely on the fantasy world. From then on, we were bang on target and never needed to experiment on anything else. The last few months have been equally exciting as Shapath went on to become the #1 show on the channel. This was a big boost to the team. We have more super villains in the offering and plan to have the series for at least a couple of months more. After this, we will come up with something equally exciting to keep the audience hooked to Shapath. Overall, it is fun working on Shapath."

We tried calling Producer B P Singh, but could not get through to him.

Three cheers to the entire team of Shapath!! May the success story continue.
