Episode opens with the view of a jail where criminals are doing their assigned jobs. A man Satish Tyagi hides a hammer and moves elsewhere. At night, he comes out and jumps in a tunnel to escape. He comes out at a certain distance where policemen spot and chase him. The chase continues till a street where he steals someone's jeans and t-shirt and changes. After sometimes he's caught finally. Newspapers cover this story and address him as "Jail Todu".
One year later, a policeman teases him that he's here yet, didn't escape. Satish smiles and jumps in a tunnel again, at night. Scene shifts to a businessman Vijay Shankar Kirkani's house. The watchman is sleeping when someone enters. Vijay takes sleeping pills and goes downstairs to fetch water when the guy in the house kills him hitting his head with a vas. Policemen arrive and a forensic guy tells Dave that fingerprints are on the vas and blood traces have been found in victim's nails, maybe it's of the murderer.
A man views the CCTV footage; the murderer turns around and breaks the camera. Dave asks the man to match the fingerprints that match with Satish's. A policeman tells Dave that he ran away four times from high security jails. Dave utters that he's in jail to which the policeman replies that he can murder someone escaping a jail.
Dave visits the jail and its jailer RK Singh shows him a tunnel they discovered. Dave moves in Satish's cell and accuses him.
In KD's office, Reena, Satish's lover enters and requests him to rescue Satish. KD meets Satish who tells him that he doesn't apply any previous method to escape, and why would he come back after murdering someone? KD feels he's innocent and assures him he'll prove it.
The prosecutor Kapadia accuses Satish and presents his proofs, the CCTV footage, fingerprints and his blood strains in Vijay's nails as well as a witness Madhukar Kirkani, Vijay's younger brother. Madhukar comes and blames Satish. KD utters that Satish was in jail and all the guards plus his mates can prove it. A policeman comes and supports KD's claims. CCTV footage is played and Satish is in jail only. Kapadia shows the photos of the tunnel discovered by the jailer RK Singh and claims Satish made it. KD asks him about the proof that Satish made the tunnel. Kapadia is clueless. KD further states that his client never repeats a method.
Kapadia further states that Vijay's nails have Satish's blood and calls Dr. Jatin in the witness box and he supports it with a DNA report. KD asks him that isn't it possible for two men's DNA to be identical? Jatin states that its chances are equal to null. Prosecutor shows the scratches in Satish's hand and he defends himself saying that he got these in jail, when two men were fighting.
KD calls Satish's mate Babloo as a witness who states that Satish was in jail only. He woke at 1 a.m. and saw him sleeping then even. KD confirms from Kapadia the murder time, that was 1 a.m. The judge advices the lawyers to prove that Satish wasn't present at one particular case, then only the case will get a direction.
KD discusses the case in his office. Sunaina goes to Vijay's house and sees the door open, with no watchman. She moves in the CCTV monitor room when Varun calls her. She suddenly spots Satish in the cameras and chases him but he runs away. She then reports this to Varun who moves to the jail to confirm whether Satish is there or not as it wasn't possible to cover 50 KM distance for him in 10 minutes.
He spots Satish in jail and reports the entire matter to KD who asks him to tell Sunaina to find out who is behind all this as he feels someone is trying to trap Satish. Varun calls Sunaina to convey KD's message. She sees Reena with a man who was behaving rudely to her.
Kapadia calls Sunaina in the witness box and she reveals that she saw Satish and even chased him. KD gets up and asks her what she did after that? Sunaina replies he called Varun to verify in the jail. KD then calls RK Singh who narrates the further tale after Varun's arrival. He further states that they have increased the security and now it's impossible for Satish to escape. KD utters that they should check the security once.
KD and Kapadia go in the jail's control room and check the CCTV cameras. There was no blank spot. Varun goes in RK's cabin to search something when he enters, Varun hides. RK gets a call and someone tries to blackmail him, RK doesn't bother though. Sunaina presents the jail's blue print to KD when Varun enters with RK's phone records. Dr. Jatin had called him then. Sunaina then reveals that she saw Dr. Jatin behaving rudely with Reena. KD utters that Jatin is jail's pathologist and then Varun tells him that he owns a clinic too.
Jatin comes to meet Reena but she rejects him even after he utters that he loves her. Satish enters and holds his collar. Reena is stunned to see Satish and moves near her mother when she screams. After a while she rushes back to see a wounded Jatin pointing towards Satish who was running away.
