There are two books of Tagore which I would like to recommend you.

1) Gora
2) Aankh ki kirkiri.

I have read them long time ago so dont remember the story much but can say i liked them.

Nastha Nir (The Broken Nest)

I cannot even explain how beautiful the story is. Some say the story is partly based on his own life. Not sure about that. But if you want to read more of Tagore, it's a must read.

Has anyone read Tagore's fireflies? Anyone knows bengali and has read the book?

My friend got the translated version of the book, she wants to know the maxims. The structure of the writing in the book. Since according to her fireflies is inspired by Japanese haiku Tagore translated, she wants to know whether the bengali version of the book has strict form like haiku? Like syllable count etc.
I hope someone helps out. ðŸ¤“
