Mayank was sleeping in the bedroom
after being so tired due to the travel and all,but Nupur,her life had taken a
complete U-turn after the events that had taken place last night and in the
morning,when she realized everything.She was sitting all alone in the drawing
room with completely blank vision.Though she behaved to be completely OK with
everything and was pretending to be so chilled,but in her heart she knew what
storm was blowing inside and how she was handling herself.Her whole life turned
upside down from that day morning.She said to herself,"Kitni asaani se maine keh diya ke mujhe in sab se koi fark nehi
parta,par kya sach mein mujhe fark nehi parta??Kya sach mein kal raat ko jo
kuch bhi mere saath hua,usse mujhe koi lena dena nehi hai?Nehi!!Aisa bilkul
nehi hai!!Fark parta hai.Ek hi raat mein mere zindagi ke saare maayne hi badal
gaye hai.Maine apne is...apne is contract marriage ko ek naya mod de diya
hai.Aisa to nehi hona chahiye tha...phir aisa kyu hua?Nehi hona chahiye tha
aisa.Par ab main kya kar sakti hu,jo hona tha vo to ho hi gaya hai."In the
AC room too,Nupur suddenly felt so suffocated that she opened the window and
stood by leaning on the wall and said,"Aaj
subhe mujhe gussa to bohot aaya par main kusurwaar maanu bhi to kise??Nahi Mayank
iska zimmedaar hai aur naahi main.Main chahe jitna bhi kehdu ke mujhe koi fark
parta par kisi larki ke liye ye aam baat nehi hai.Par mere paas sivaay aisa
kehne ke aur koi chaara bhi to nehi tha,varna Mayank har waqt apne aap ko dosh
deta.Bohot shaan se maine keh diya ke jo ho gaya usey bhul jaao,par ye bhulna
itna asaan nehi hai."She gave a sigh and said,"Par ab chahe jo bhi ho,mujhe is baat ko kamsekam uske saamne ignore
karna hi hoga,taaki hamaara ye ek saal asaani se kat jaaye."She made up her
mind and decided that she would move on in her life and would allow everything
go according to its will.
The rest of the days were not a very bad one for anyone of them since
they had learnt to adjust with each other.The moment,they allowed themselves to
flow alongwith the air,both started to remain happy in each other's company and
also started enjoying the togetherness.They started behaving as very close
friends.Mayank and Nupur,one day, decided to travel to the countryside.

Nupur allowed her dupatta to flow in the air
and Mayank was driving the car.

Both of them came out of the car and walked
along the road and were watching how the people around that part of the
country.It was a different kind of experience.

sometimes together.

Nupur was very
happy on exploring such parts of a country.She was overwhelmed with the
way,those people greeted them and took care of them.Even she helped them in
some of their work and Mayank recorded them.When it was Mayank's turn,she
recorded his activities.

Both of them after having lunch there played
in the field with them,one of their village's favourate sport.At first when the
men played,Nupur cheered for Mayank and when the women played,Mayank cheered
for Nupur.

After sometime,Nupur asked Mayank that they
should now return to their hotel as it was getting late.Before leaving the
place,they met with everyone and bid goodbye to them.

Almost during the evening,they started their
return journey to the city.Nupur was feeling a bit chilled.Mayank opened his
jacket and wrapped it around her body.She gave a formal smile to him.He drove
off towards the sunset.

Mayank parked the car outside the hotel and
returned to their suite.They took a bath one after the other and ordered some
food as both were very hungry.After having food,they decided to do some
shopping for the new member of the family.When they reached the mall,Nupur was
a damn confused and was looking here and there.Mayank,on seeing her expression
asked,"Kya hua???Aise idhar udhar kya
dekh rahi ho?"She said,"Problem ye
hai ke hume ye nehi pata hai na ke didi ko larka hoga ya larki,to kya shopping
karenge babies ke liye?"He replied,"Pata
nehi hai to kya hua,larka aur larki dono ke liye shopping kar lenge.Agar larka
hua to larko ka samaan de denge aur agar larki hui to larkiwaala samaan de
denge.Nehi to...dono cheeze na bhaiya aur bhabhi ko de denge.Phir jo hoga unki
problem hogi."Nupur found that to be a very good solution and so she said,"Ha ye solution bohot achcha hai.Yehi
karenge."Both,at first went to the girl's section where Nupur purchased
many toys and clothes for baby girl and also some necessary items.Mayank said,"Achcha thik hai tum khud larki ho isliye
larkiowaale kapre kharid rahi ho,par apne bhatije ke kapre main hi kharidunga."Nupur
mocked at him and said,"Ji nehi.Vo bhi
main hi kharidungi.Bachcho ke samaan tum kharidne ke laayak nehi ho."He
became angry and asked,"Kyu??Main kyu
nehi kharid sakta?Aur tum to larki ho tumhe kya pata hai hum larko ko kya
pasand hai,kya nehi?"She replied,"Vo
isliye mere ek saal ke patidevji,ke mera ek bhatija hai Ishaan.Jab bhabhi
pregnant thi na tab unke baby ki ek ek cheez maine kharidi thi.Samjhe?"He
made a face to her.She then purchased all the things that are required for a
baby boy and then said to Mayank,"Pata
hai jitna humne shopping kiya hai na,mujhe to lagta hai,ye baby ke samaan ke
liye hi hume ek aur luggage bag bhi kahridna parega."He nodded his head and
then purchased another luggage bag.They returned to their hotel room and Nupur
nicely packed all the baby belongings.While Nupur was packing everything with
care,Mayank was watching her.He asked,"Tumhe
bachche bohot pasand hai kya?"She smiled and replied,"Bohot!!Aur vaise bhi bachche kisko pasand nehi hai.Duniya mein aise
bohot kam hi log honge jinhe bachche pasand nehi hai."He said,"Pata hai tumne jis tarah se aaj eke k samaan
kharida hai na,usey dekh kar ek cheez to main purey daave ke saath keh sakta hu
ke tum ek bohot achchi mamma zarur banogi."Nupur looked on for a second and
then asked,"Achcha???Iraada kya hai??"She
winked at her and then he got her signal and said,"Nehi...I mean...uh...mere kehne ka matlab tha ke tum bachcho ke maamle
mein bari expert ho."On seeing his confused and terrified face,Insdira
laughed and said,"Tum daro mat,main to
bas aise hi keh rahi thi.Khair chalo sote hai.Aaj bohot thak gaye hai."Mayank
agreed and they both went to take sleep.
Next evening,they had a flight.In the day,Mayank
went out for a walk alone and while returning,he saw a very beautiful pair of
anklet.He purchased that for Nupur and after returning gave that to her.She
asked,"Ye kisliye?"He replied,"Dekho hamaari nayi nayi dosti hui hai na
to meri taraf se tumhe gift."She said,"Par
main ye gift nehi le sakti Mayank."He asked,"Kyu?"She replied,"Dekho
agar koi chota mota gift hota to main le leti par ye payal bohot mehenge
hai,isiliye main isey nehi le sakti."He became very upset on hearing
that.She understood that due to her reject,he was upset,so to cheer him up,she
said,"Thik hai tum ye apne paas
rakkho,main ye usdin lungi jisdin ye payal tum mujhe khudke paise se khari kar
doge.Kyuki dost ko gift dena hai to khud kamaakar dena chahiye."Mayank was
damn confused and asked,"Kya matlab?"She
smiled and replied,"Matlab tumhe ek din
khudbakhud samajhme aa jaayega."He shook his shoulders and then put those
anklets with him and then packed his remaining luggage.In the evening,they
checked out of the hotel and boarded their flight to Delhi.
