CHAPTER - 23
On returning,Nupur and Mayank received a grand welcome.Maadhvi said,"Bhagwaan ka shukr hai ke tum dono sahi salaamat ghar waapas aa gaye.Tum dodno ke bina to ye ghar kaatne ko daur raha tha.To kaisa raha tum dono ka trip?"Nupur replied,"Ha achcha hi tha."Maadhvi took both of them inside.While coming inside,Payal whispered into Nupur's ears,"To honeymoon achcha gaya hai na tum dono ka?"Nupur stopped with a jerk on listening to her question.She remembered the night which they spent together after getting intoxicated due to heavy drinking.She hesitatingly replied,"Didi...vo..."Maadhvi called them and asked them to get freshed up and after that come to the dining hall for having food.Nupur and Payal temporarily disrupted their talks and Nupur and Mayank returned to their bedroom.While unpacking their luggages,Nupur said,"Abhi abhi didi ne mujhse hamaare...us...honeymoon ke bare mein pucha hai...tum please...agar bhaiya aisa vaisa kuch puche to..."Mayank replied,"What the hell you think about me Nupur?Tumhe kya lagta hai ke aisi baate bhi koi kisiko bataata hai?"Nupur said,"Phir bhi...bataana mera farz tha...maine bola hai."Mayank nodded his head and after getting freshen up,both left to have some food.
In the dining table,they had various kinds of chats and equally teasing was also being carried on for the newly-honeymoon-returned couple.After the food,Dhruv and Shekhar were having some discussion over some problems with the security of the computers.Mayank was playing game in his tab and was listening to them.Suddenly,he remembered something and asked his father,"Kya baat hai dad??Kaisi problem ho rahi hai computers mein?"Dhruv replied,"Kuch security problems hai hamaare office ke computers mein.Shaayad bahaar se kisine hack karne ki koshish ki hai.Kisi expert ko bulaana parega."Mayank thought about something and then asked,"Aap log apne computers ke problem hone par jab usko thik karwaate hai to kitna payment dete hai un computer experts ko?"Dhruv replied,"Vo to problem par depend karta hai."Mayank asked,"Agar main office ke computers ka ye problem thik kardu to kya mujhe bhi utna hi payment milega jitna aap log us expert ko dete hai?"Shekhar and Dhruv exchanged looks and then Shekhar asked,"Kya matlab?"Mayank innocently replied,"Vo actually kya hai na dad,bhaiya ne kaha tha ke biwi ko marriage ka ek gift dena parta hai honeymoon par,isiliye maine usko ek payal kharid kar di par Nupur ne usko accept nehi kiya aur ye kaha ke jab main apne paiso se kharid kar usko koi gift dunga tabhi vo usko accept karegi,isiliye maine pucha tha."Both Dhruv and Shekhar exchanged a meaningful look and then Dhruv said,"Ok done!!But tujhe kaam pura karna parega."Mayank agreed and then he put on his laptop and then hacked the office's computers.After a long time's hardwork,Mayank was finally successful in fixing the problem.After that Shekhar gave Mayank a cheque as the payment.Mayank then cried out like a kid and said,"Main ab is cheque ko cash karwaane nehi ja sakta,mujhe cash mein payment karo."Payal,who was coming with tray of coffee heard their conversation.Dhruv said,"Mayank aise payments hamesha cheque mein hi hote hai."Like a kid,Mayank said,"Nehi!!Mujhe cash chahiye."Payal asked,"Kis baat ki behes ho rahi hai aap teeno ke beech mein?"Dhruv told her everything.She said,"Ha to de dijiye na cash mein baat to ek hi hai.Maamuli si baat ke liye na aap bachche ko kitna pareshaan karte ho."Mayank made a baby face and folded his lips looking at Payal.She comforted him.After Dhruv paid him in cash,Mayank returned him some money and then said,"Ye us payal ki payment hai,ab Nupur vo gift zarur accept karegi,aakhir maine apni kamaai se di hai ye usko."Saying he left from there.Shekhar,while looking at Mayank said to Dhruv,"Tune sahi kaha tha Mayank ko uske zabaan mein samjhaane ke liye Nupur se zyaada behtar larki aur koi nehi hai.Kitni asaani se usne Mayank ko zimmedaar banana already shuru kar diya."Dhruv replied,"Main jaanta hu papa aur tabhi maine Nupur ko pasand kiya tha hamaare Mayank ke liye."Payal added,"Usse bhi zyaada interesting to ye hai ke jab se ye dono laute hai ek baar ke liye bhi inhone jhagra nehi kiya.Iska matlab ye hai ke honeymoon waala plan hamaara successful tha."Dhruv and Shekhar agreed to her.
On returning to his room,Mayank gave the anklet to Nupur and said,"Maine abhi abhi na hamaare office ke computers ko thik kiya hai aur badle mein uske mujhe payment mili hai.ab to tum ye gift le sakti ho na?"Nupur took the anklets from his hand and said,"Ha vo to le sakti hu."He was very happy on seeing that finally his gift was accepted and then he said to her,"Main na ek din tumhe apne saare dosto se bhi milvaaunga."Nupur made a mocking face and said,"Tumhaare vo dost??Huh!!Ek Samrat ke alava ek bhi dhang ka nehi hai.Unki nazar mein tumhaari izzat sirf tumhaare paise aur status ke vajah se hai.Saare namune hai wahapar."Mayank said,"Tum bhi meri dost ho par tumhe mere baaki dosto ke baare mein aisa kehne ka koi haq nehi hai."He got angry at her and so she apologized and reconciled.At night,both were lying down on the bed,but sleep was far away from their eyes.Nupur said,"Achcha Mayank ek baat to bolo,tumne kuch to socha hoga na ke tumhe apni life mein kya karna hai aur kya nehi.To kya socha hai?"Mayank replied,"Agle ek saal to kuch bhi karne ka koi iraada nehi hai mera,par phir bhi maine bhabhi se waada kiya hai ke agle saal kuch na kuch karne ki koshish to main zarur karunga."Nupur said,"To main vohi to puch rahi hu na."He replied,"Main???"He got up on the bed and then said,"Mujhe na apni khudki company kholni hai aur jo duniya ke best video games banaayega har kisam ke.Main ye 10 se 5 ki job nehi kar sakta aur naahi mujhe apne company mein kaam karne ka koi shaukh hai.Vaise tumhaara kya aim hai??Tum to bohot career contious ho."Nupur replied,"Ha hai na.Main to apne naam par ek resort kholna chahti hu NUPUR HOTELS & RESORTS',purey sheher ka best resort aur main isko apni khushi se chalaungi."Mayank asked,"To tum to itni rich ho to abtak kyu nehi banaya?Tum apne office mein kyu nehi kaam karti?"Nupur replied,"Dekho,maine hotel management ki hai aur isliye hamaare company mein mere laayak koi kaam nehi hai aur main apna ye resort apne paiso se banana chahti hu,isiliye dusre hotels mein kaam karti hu."He asked,"Tab to tumhe bohot paise chahiye phir tumne kaam karna kyu chora?"She replied,"Ha par abhi didi ko meri zarurat hai na.Mummyji is umar mein ghar sambhaale achcha nehi lagta hai na.Isiliye maine job chor di ab ek saal ki hi to baat hai uske baad main waapas job dhundh lungi."Mayank nodded his head and replied,"You know what tum bohot samajhdaar ho,meri jaisi bilkul nehi.Khamakha mein mujhse shaadi karke tumne apna ek saal waste kiya.Dekh lena tumhe na mujhse bhi achcha aur matured life partner milega."Nupur laughed out loud and said,"Ek baar shaadi kar li hai na phir dubaara se nehi karni hai.Main to ek saal baad apni marzi se apni life jeeyungi."Mayank started yawning and said,"Ok!!Filhaal mujhe to abhi bohot neend aa rahi hai,chalo so jaate hai.Good night!!"Nupur agreed and then slept by his side.

3 months passed by and Nupur and Mayank became very close friends.One day,while cleaning the bedroom,she found a file where there were some figures drawn by Mayank and some written documents.Nupur read them carefully and understood that Mayank was presently working on designing of a new video game.She was very amused on seeing the documents.Nupur opened Mayank's laptop and tried to find the game.At that moment,Mayank came into their room and on seeing Nupur examining his laptop,he asked,"Itna dhyaan se kya dhundh rahi ho Nupur?"She replied,"Abhi ghar ki safaai karte waqt maine tumhaari ye file dekhi.Tumne ek naye video game ka design banaya hai par tumne mujhe bataya bhi nehi?That's not fair."Mayank replied,"Par vo abhitak complete nehi hua hai.Jab complete ho jaayega to main tumhe zarur bataaunga."Nupur nodded her head and then said to herself,"Ek baar complete karlo,phir main tumhe tumhaare life ka best gift dungi."She smiled to herself.
Within a few days,Mayank completed the designing of the video game and showed her the game and she was deadly impressed.At night,when he was asleep,Nupur secretly copied the game in a CD and kept it within herself.After that a few days later,Nupur,one day said to Mayank,"Mayank chalo mere saath bohot urgent meeting ke liye jaana hai."Everyone looked at her.Mayank made a strange face and asked,"Kaha?"She replied,"Maine kaha na important meeting hai."He asked,"Important meeting???Main???Mere liye kaisa important meeting?"Nupur was disgusted and said,"Pata hai Mayank tum na sawaal bohot zyaada puchte ho,abhi chup raho aur chupchap mere saath chalo."He too got irritated and said,"Jabtak tum mujhe bataaogi nehi ke kaha jaana hai tabtak main tumhaare saath kahi nehi jaaunga."She disappointedly looked at Dhruv and said,"Bhaiya!!!Please!!!"Dhruv looked at Mayank and replied,"Offo!!Ja na Mayank,jab itna bol rahi hai to tere bhale ke liye hi bol rahi hogi na.Vo tujhe koi aisi vaisi jagah par to lekar nehi jaayegi.Mujhe uspar tujhse zyaada bharosa hai.Abhi ja."Mayank,so had no other option except to leave with Nupur.Before leaving to get ready,Mayank angrily murmered,"Meri puri family ko muththi mein kar liya hai.Huh!!"Saying he went to get ready and then left with Nupur.
Nupur asked Mayank to stop in front of a very big company office.He stopped the car and got to know that it was a very big company who makes video games for kids.He asked,"Tum mujhe yaha kyu lekar aayi?"Nupur held his hand and replied,"Tum chalo to."She took him inside the office.Nupur previously had an appointment with the MD of the company and so she got an easy access to his cabin.Nupur took Mayank alongwith her to meet the MD.On reaching the cabin,the MD welcomed them.Nupur said,"Barbaad karne laayak waqt na to aapke paas hai aur naahi mere paas isliye main abhi seedha mudde par aati hu.Maine usdin aapko vo video game ke bare mein bola tha na..."She pointed towards Mayank and said,"Ye mere husband hai Mr Mayank Sharma,vo video game inhone hi banaya hai."The man said to Mayank,"Oh thats wonderful game maine jab dekha mujhe vo bohot pasand aaya hai,maine aapki wife se kaha bhi tha ke main is game ke badle aapko muh maangi keemat den eke liye tayyar hu."Mayank was a bit taken back thinking Nupur had given his designed game to someone else.He was very angry and then asked,"Nupur tumne mujhse bina puche meri game kaise inhe dikhayi?"She replied,"Main maanti hu ke maine tumse bina puche ye game li hai,par maine tumhaare liye hi to kiya hai na.Ab chalo,main tumko sab kuch saaf saaf bataungi,samjhaaungi bhi par pehle ye deal karlo."Mayank said to the man,"Vaise agar maine aapko ye game de di to is baat ki kya guarantee hai ke aap usko apni company ka product banaakar nehi bechenge?Just because meri wife ne aapse baat ki hai,main aap par bharosa nehi kar sakta."The MD replied,"I can understand Mr Sharma aur apne aap ko saabit karne ke liye,maine already ye papers tayyar bhi karke rakkhe hai,iske mutaabik,game designer mein aaphika naam rahega aur aapko paise bhi muh-maangi milengi.You have my words."Mayank thought about the goodwill of the company and then said,"Thik hai agar aisi baat hai to...Main abhi koi payment nehi lunga.Par is game ko launch karne ke baad job hi profit hoga,mujhe uska 20% chahiye.Boliye agar manzur hai,to hi main ye deal sign karunga."The MD agreed at once and then said,"I accept!!Mujhe koi problem nehi hai kyuki,main ye baat bohot asaani se keh sakta hu ke this game will just rock!!"Mayank smiled and then signed the deal and then left from there.
After coming out,Mayank,who was already very angry with Nupur,burst out his displeasure and said,"You know Nupur,tumhe maine apna designed game dikhaya iska matlab ye bilkul bhi nehi hai ke tum bina puche usey kisiko bhi dikhao.Vo to achcha hai ke ye company bohot well known hai,agar koi fraud company hoti to?Tab kya karti tum?Aaj ke baad mujhse bina puche aisa koi bhi kaam mat karna."Nupur too replied back,"Aur tumhe kya lagta hai ke tumhaari designed ki hui game aise kisi ko bhi de dungi?Mujhme akal nehi hai?Jis tarah se tum ek business gharaane se belong karte ho,main bhi karti hu,mujhe bhi pata hai ke kaunsi company achchi hai aur kaunsi nehi.Bina jaach partaal kiye main koi bhi aisa kaam nehi karti."He asked,"Aur tumhe ye sab karke mila kya?"Nupur replied,"Tumhaare banne waale naye company ko famous karne ki pehli seeri.Dekho...abhi agar tum apne design kiye huye games dusre company ko bechoge,to baaki jo saare video game ki companies hai,unhe tumhaare bare mein pata chalega.Agar tumhaara ye game hit ho gaya to socho tumhaare paas kitne saare contracts aayenge aur contracts ka matlab dher saara paisa aur un paiso se tum apni khud ki company khud se bana sakoge,tumhe bhaiye ya papaji ke paas paise bhi nehi maangne parenge aur socho ye paise tumhaare khud ke honge to saare gharwaale kitne khush honge aur khaaskar didi.Uske baad tumhe kabhi koi nikamma nehi kahega,daatega bhi nehi aur sabse bari baat jitna bhi kharch karo koi hisaab maangne waala nehi hoga.Kaamyaabi koi ek baar hi mein to nehi milti hai na abhi se shuruwaat karoge tabhi to dheere kaamyaab hoge varna sochlo tumhaare paas sirf 9 hi mahine hai uske baad tumhe apne hi office mein kaam karna parega."Mayank gave a thought to her words and then asked,"Are you sure ye kaam karega?"Nupur gave a carefree look and replied,"Oh God!!C'mon Mayank,you are a Sharma.Agar khatra nehi uthaaoge to faayda kaise milega.Remember!!No risk,no gain!!"Mayank nodded his head and then said,"Par agar kuch ulta seedha hua na to main kahunga ke tumhaara idea tha."Nupur laughed and nodded his head and then said,"Par agar achcha hua to bhi tumhe ye kehna hoga ke mera idea tha aur phir I want a big,fat party for that."Mayank accepted her proposal and then both left from there.
