Yeah, I'm getting those Malal feels too..however, Malal was what it was primarily because of Umera Ahmed.  Vasay Chaudhry is the writer, and he wrote the screenplay for Main Hoon Shahid Afridi..and he also has written some parts of the Baraat series. 

I'm a little worried about the script to be honest...I hope Vasay doesn't disappoint. 

I am pretty biased towards Vasay Chaudhry as an actor and a writer. He is great in my opinion. He wrote "Jutt and Bond," "Rubberband,"  Main Hoon Shahid Afridi, he wrote the "Kis Ki Ayegi Baraat" series (except for the first one Azar ki Ayegi Baraat). As well as the Tarang telefilm "Armaan." These are the ones I can think of at the top of my head. He is quite able in writing both comedies as well as romance and serious plays.

Out of those I jhave only seen Armaan
