Ek Haseena Thi 15th April 2014: Written Update
The episode begins with Shaurya playing golf on the terrace with his friends. One of them is checking out Durga's pics in FriendBook and he says she is impressive but she doesn't seem to be his type. Shaurya tells him that there are two categories of women - one who comes to him easily and the other who doesn't come easily but in the end he gets both of them and his friends laugh along with him. One of them ask him if he doesn't have anything exciting to do besides play with girls and Shaurya starts pushing him playfully while he looks scared and finally Shaurya pushes him off the terrace and falls down screaming. His other two friends go running to see what happened with that guy but he seems to have landed a short distance down to the floor below and he is ok. They tell him that he was the one who wanted to do something exciting and start throwing golf balls at him and the guy down tells to himself that Shaurya is dead this time. His other friend asks him her name and he says 'Durga' and they say that her name itself is scary. Shaurya sends friend request and tells him that he will become friends with her and his friend asks him just friendship to which Shaurya replies that who can refuse Shaurya Goenka and Durga Thakur will soon pine for him.
Durga is standing near a bridge when she sees Shaurya's friend request and she tells that she has waited for him for two years and its time he waited for her.
Rajnath is fixing himself a drink when Mathur, a person who works for Goenka comes in. He tells Mathur that he is a useful man who is always on time and offers the drink to him and asks him what news he has brought. Mathur tells him that the land is his now and Raj asks him what about other permissions and Mathur replies that the party president got the gift today and they will get the permission too. Raj says that when it comes to land matters nobody will support anyone and Mathur tells him that he is with him and with him will any of his work be hindered. Sakshi walks in and Mathur tells her to offer him sweets and Raj also says yes since he has done the work. So Sakshi tells Raj to let her decide if Mathur has done the work or not. Mathur tells Raj that Sakshi had asked him to find about Dr. Dayal Thakur (Durga's dad) and says he is a cancer specialist who was born in Kolkatta but he studied in US and he has come back after ages after earning a lot of name and fame to open Asia's biggest cancer research center and Choudry is helping him in this. At this Raj nearly chokes on his drink. He adds that Mathur earned a good name in a short span of time and Sakshi says that if he joins them, he will earn more fame.
Durga is sad and she walks in to her home and Dayal tells her that a victory is achieved not by heart but by mind and asks her if she forgot her own rule. He tells that its essential for the Goenka's to think of her as a friend and not as an enemy if she wants to do what she has set out to do.
Raj tells Mathur that he will extend a hand of friendship to Dayal and Sakshi enquires about Durga to which Mathur replies nothing much apart from the fact that she is child without a mom and she is interested in social work and also runs an NGO. Sakshi tells Raj sorry that she can't give Mathur sweets as he didn't do anything worth it and he didn't meet her expectations. Raj asks her what does she mean and Sakshi says she is more interested in the daughter and though she has met her only once but despite not speaking much her face reveals a lot.
Here Durga tells Dayal that she could not stop herself. The Goenka family was before her eyes but in her ears she could hear Payal's screams and says it was unfair that one person is suffering so much while they don't have a frown on their face. Dayal asks her to have patience to which Durga asks him if Ma Durga showed patience and Shaurya was infront of her and so was Maa's trishul and she so wished she could kill him and offer his head to Goddess. He tells her that Maa gets her puja done for 5 days and Durga asks him in a pained voice if she should give him a chance and despite doing what he did, he is still walking scott free. Dayal tells her that truth doesn't triumph over lie by killing it but by cutting its roots. He tells her the biggest war on this planet, Mahabharat was fought for 18 days and only after that did truth win and now here the war has not commenced yet. Now only the boundaries of battlefield has been drawn and its she who has drawn them and her journey to victory will start from there.
Shaurya checks his cell and sees that Durga has not yet accepted his friend request. He calls her and Durga sees the call and remembers Dayal's words that the Goenkas should think of her as a friend and she picks the call and pretends like she doesn't know who it is. Shaurya tells her that he cannot live without her and he is going to commit suicide and before writing her name on the suicide note, he better talk to her once. Durga asks him who it is and Shaurya tells in a mock sad voice that she doesn't know the person who saved her life. He tells her he is not asking her to become the mother of his children but just asking her to become his friend. Durga tells him its you and asks him how he got her number. He tells her that he got her number, and then her on the line but she didn't accept his friend request. Durga tells him that she isn't good at social networking and she keeps forgetting her password. Shaurya tells her to reset her password to something catchy like Shaurya and Durga tells him that she is going to sleep and he tells her he will sing a lulla by for her. She tells him good night and that she will check his friend request the next day. Shaurya also tells her to take out time for lunch with him from her busy schedule since their destinies have met and she cuts the call. Durga says to herself that you are right and she is indeed writing his destiny.
The next day morning Raj is playing badminton with his friend and he wins the game. Sakshi is having coffee with her friend who tells her that her husband is torturing her everyday and Sakshi is pouring tea and she asks for sugar. She is enraged and reminds Sakshi that she is talking about her divorce. Sakshi asks her not to worry and enquires about the hearing date and she replies next month. Sakshi assures her that she will ask Mathur to dig out Jatin's dirty deeds and Jatin will soon be begging for divorce and she thanks Sakhsi and tells her that she didn't get many things in life but she got a friend like her and Sakhsi thanks her for the compliment. Raj comes there and tries to hug Sakshi but Sakshi admonishes him saying he is sweating and Raj backs off and tells that there are two gorgeous women and one good looking man but sadly nobody acknowledged his victory in court and her friend asks him that when does he ever lose to which Raj points at Sakshi and asks if he ever won against her. She takes their leave and Sakshi asks her where she is going to which she tells Sakshi like she doesn't know and says to shop for her dress for Thakur's party of course. Both Raj and Sakshi are surprised and she tells them to ask their secretary to check and she is sure they got the invite but he misplaced it and she leaves telling them she will see them at the party. Raj and Sakshi exchange looks.
Shaurya's friends mock at him for Durga not accepting his friend request. They further taunt him saying that she is ignoring a guy like him who never had any dearth for girls. Another guy adds in asking him to fetch cold coffee and ice pack for Shaurya's heart since he suffered a big shock. Shaurya puts a bet with his friend on his bike and his friend agrees to it provided he can win over Durga and mocks at him asking for how many months or years? Just then Shaurya's cell beeps and he tells his friend gleefully that Durga accepted his request and very soon he will lose his bike and Durga will be his. His friend tells him his time starts now and just on cue he gets a call from one of his other many girlfriends.
Raj and Sakshi are at the dining table and Raj is about to serve biryani onto his plate but Sakshi rings a bell and asks the servant to get his salad. Raj is pissed off and says he doesn't deserve salad everyday and Sakshi asks him if he got Dayal's invite. Just then Raj's phone rings and its Dayal. Dayal introduces himself to Raj and invites him personally to his party and requests him to come along with his family. Raj agrees to come. Raj smirks at Sakshi and puts biryani onto his plate 😆 while she looks indignant. Raj tells him its rude manners to send invitation to big people and they are invited personally over cell.
Durga asks Dayal what did they say and he tells her she was right. Had they invited them first, then they wouldn't be so eager. Durga is happy and he asks her if Shaurya will come.
Sakshi tells that the Goenkas are the pride of Kolkatta and its essential if they are seen together in such parties. Shaurya asks whose party and Raj replies Dr. Dayal Thakur and Shaurya agrees to come when he hears the name. Sakshi smirks at a surprised Raj who tells his son that his night life will be spoilt but Shaurya says its fine and he can sacrifice it.
Durga goes to hospital and sees Shaurya's sketch which is now torn in half and she thinks of the time she met him. Payal comes out of bathroom and she goes to her and she lovingly braides her hair and is crying seeing her state. Durga hugs her and Payal drifts off to sleep. Durga makes her lie down. She sees the medicine box which is empty and she goes to bathroom to check and she is shocked. Payal would have stuck the tablets to the wall and made a mirage of Shaurya's and a flashback is shown where Payal is shown in pain and she is anguished while making that picture. Durga tells that he is coming tomorrow and wipes her tears.
Precap - At the party the Goenkas arrive and Sakshi tells Dayal that they should start their tamasha now.
