Chapter 11 - I Still Want My Kisses
Zoya's P.O.V
I was setting up dinner with mum when they doorbell rang.
"Darling, could you get that? Thanks!" Mum said.
"Suuure, why not!" I said. Note the sarcasm.
Making my way to the front door, hoping it would be the Khan's.
I opened it slowly and yes, it was them.
Safaa ran to me and hugged my legs tight.
Aww cutie.
"Zoya! I missed you so much!" She cooed.
"Aww, darling I missed you too" I said, bending down to her level.
She hugged me for a while and was not letting go, so I just picked her up while she giggled, kissing my cheek.
Dishaad was looking at us in awe.
"I swear, she's obsessed with you Zoya..." Najma said shaking her head.
"Haha, come in guys" I said standing a side.
While coming in, everyone hugged me one by one.
"You can let go of Zoya now, Safaa" Najma said making a face.
"Nooo! She's warm!" Safaa said, stuffing her face in my neck.
We laughed.
"You look lovely dear" Rashid said.
Isn't that supposed to be Asad's line?
"Thank you, uncle." I said.
"Call me Rashid dear!" He said, pinching my cheek.
"Ok, Rashid." I said. He patted my head and walked in.
See how close I got with them?
"Dinner's ready, so you can all go change and eat" I said.
They hummed their yes's and went upstairs to change.
Suddenly someone coughed behind me. Almost giving me a mini heart attack.
I turned around and bumped into a muscular body. With Safaa still on my left hip. I looked up to see Asad's hazel orbs staring down at me, of course with a smirk plastered on his beautiful face.
"Forgetting me?" He asked. I backed away a little creating a comfortable space between us.
"What do you think?" I asked, playing along.
"I think you did" he said coming closer. Again. I didn't respond to his statement because Asad and I both know it's true.
"I still want my kisses." He whispered in my ear so Safaa wouldn't hear us. But I think it failed because I sure heard her squeal.
Safaa's giggling made me slightly aware of the situation that we were in. Asad wanted to kiss me and Safaa found that amusing. Me? I was busy heating up.
"Are you acting mummy and daddy now?" She asked still giggling.
I looked at her wide-eyed, shocked at what she just said. Asad just laughed it off.
Mummy and Daddy? What di- Oh... Ohhh. I get it. Sneaky little brat.
"You won't get any." I said. I don't know where the sudden confidence came from.
He looked at me with amusement flashing in his eyes.
"Oh really?" He asked smirking.
Those stupid smirk of his! Making me go jelly, I think I might collapse any time soon.
"Yeah, really. Now go and change." I said, looking straight into his gorgeous eyes.
"Acting all wifey now are we?" He said, still smirking. Is it normal that my lower region is not in a very good condition right now? His words are turning me on, don't ask me why. Don't.
There are about a thousand, no wait, a million butterflies in my stomach right now. I didn't notice how close we were until. I felt his hot breath on my face.
"Are you going to kiss?" Safaa asked. And Asad didn't hesitate to give her the answer. He kissed me, right in front of Safaa. Asad kissed me.
There are dinosaurs running around in my stomach.
My feet are shaking.
I feel sparks flying.
Earth shaking.
My cheeks are getting warm, probably red.
Our lips were moulded with each other, moving in perfect sync. I couldn't help but smile into the kiss. I'm afraid my heart might fall out of my chest. Yes, it's pounding all right!
My confidence level increased when I felt Asad smiling in the kiss too. It feels good to know that he is enjoying this as much as I am.
Trust me, it did.
Safaa was giggling madly now and squealing like a 15 year old, who just met her favourite celebrity.
We pulled away slowly.
"Got one of them" Asad said, staring straight in my soul. I responded with nothing but heavy breathing. I was panting and so was Asad. The kiss was just, heated.
Safaa suddenly jumped out of my grip and ran into the living room.
"Mummy! Mummy!" she squeaked. Oh shit. No, please don't tell anyone Munchkin.
I was going to run after her but Asad grabbed me from my waist and pulled me close. I felt his hot breath on my neck.
"You look cute when you blush" He said. His voice, just above a whisper.
My hands flew up to his chest as he pecked my lips. Trying much him back so I can breath without feeling insecure.
I bit my lip, trying to hide the smile that was forming on my lips.
"You look sexy when you do that" He whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine.
I let go of my lip and slowly looked up, still smiling a little.
He started leaning in once again but I pushed him away and ran to the kitchen. I could hear him laughing in the background.
I was going to open the door but decided to take a short glance at him. He was still standing there, both hands in his pockets, biting his lip, smirking. Probably checking me out from the back that's why. Pervert.
He suddenly winked at me. I looked away quickly and entered the kitchen. I could hear him laughing.
When I entered the kitchen, all eyes were on me. They were sitting and smirking, looking my way.
Shit. I think Safaa told them. I need to have a talk with this girl. I shot her a glare, making a giggle. I looked down embarrassed and sat down at the end right corner of the table, next to Najma, since there were only 2 chairs left for me and Asad.
"So, what took you so long?" Najma asked. I could clearly see the smirk on her lips.
I looked down embarrassed, but not before glaring at Safaa, which caused her to giggle again. Suddenly, they all started laughing.
"It's fine dear! You two are engaged, no need to be shy!" Dilshaad said. My eyes widened at her comment, which made her chuckle in amusement. Really?
Asad came in, looking as sexy as ever in a simple white, tight t-shirt and white shorts. Najma elbowed me, causing me to choke on my food and for her to laugh.
"Why are you all laughing?" Asad asked, sitting beside me. I was still looking down at my food.
"Oh nothing, just talking about your little mummy, daddy session which happened outside. Am I right Safaa?" Najma said.
Safaa giggled and said
"It was ewww" she said making a face, causing everyone to laugh, even Asad. How is he not embarrassed about this?
"But they were sooo cuuutteee!" she squeaked. Everyone laughed again.
Asad chuckled and held my hand under the table. He seriously needs a kick in the shin.
"What are you doing?" I whispered.
"What do you think?" He whispered back.
"Let. Go!" I whispered harshly, making him grip it tightly. He chuckled and continued eating, while I struggled to let go of his hand. It's difficult to eat while electricity is buzzing through your body.
"Bhaijaan! Why don't you let Zoya eat in peace!" Najma said. Oh god.
I think she caught us.
No! Caught HIM!
Asad let go of my hand immediately.
Thank you Najma!
"What happened?" Dilshaad asked.
On second though, I take that back. No thank you Najma! No thank you!
"Nothing!" I said. A little too fast.
"Okay..." she said, giggling.
