A furniture shop is set to fire and its owner Marz dies. Dave arrests a man Aatmaram accusing him of being behind Marz's murder. Aatmaram requests KD to rescue him. In the court, Jaisawal reveals that Aatmaram had taken a loan of 3 lakhs and handed over his 3 Victoria to Marz as mortgage. Thereafter he claims that Aatmaram couldn't return back the money and yet he wanted his belongings back. He calls Nishit as his witness who reveals that he saw a man running away in Victoria after the fire. KD questions him if he saw Aatmaram setting fire, Nishit denies. Jaisawal shows him the Victoria's no. plate. KD reveals that this was dropped long ago and police even fined Aatmaram for driving a Victoria without its no. plate. Then Jaisawal accuses Aatmaram of threatening Marz and calls a witness, shop manager Sachin who confirms it.
KD is taken aback and asks his client if he's hiding anything else, he denies. Then Marz's wife Niloufer is called. She reveals that Aatmaram wanted his children to study in an English medium school, and that's why Marz offered him a loan keeping his 3 Victoria cars as mortgage. She further accuses him. KD reveals that her and Marz's divorce case was going on and a taxi driver had dropped her outside the furniture shop at 10:00 p.m. She defends herself and says she went to talk to him. Jaisawal shows a lighter and claims it to be Aatmaram's. Sachin confirms the same. KD accuses Jaisawal of planting the lighter as a proof against his client at the crime site, his pen has been discovered there. Jaisawal gets hyper and denies that the pen is his. He further says that someone else might have dropped a pen identical to his, he becomes silent and understands KD's point after observing that his pen is missing from his table. KD utters that his client is being trapped like this.
Jaisawal then asks Aatmaram that where he was at 10:30 p.m.? He wasn't at his home as police waited from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Aatmaram tells him that he was drinking at Kishor Kalpana bar, though he fails to produce any proof/witness. Thereafter he reveals that he went to marine drive and two people fought there due to a minor accident. He recalls that the bike was black and its driver was wearing a yellow jacket, a policeman took him away. KD utters that he must not have been at the shop then, his statement can be confirmed through police records. Jaisawal guesses that he must have read it in a morning newspaper. KD tells him that he reads 8 newspapers and no such incident was published there. They can verify. Court gives 10 days to KD.
Varun arrives in the office and tells KD that the marine drive incident is true, but they can't deny Sachin's words. KD, Varun and Srman visit the burnt shop. KD notices that the window through which fire torch was said to be thrown, was closed.
He concludes that window can't be closed after the fire, hence the torch was thrown from somewhere else. He further spots a CCTV camera and Srman says that a friend of his can fetch the data out of a burnt hard disk. Scene shifts to a police station where the guy manages to transfer the burnt disk data to a CD. A man is spotted in the footage. KD asks the guy to make the man's image. Varun informs KD that the image is ready, he's Chandan and does delivery in antique shops. Dave catches Chandan and takes him away. Meanwhile, someone passes this information of his arrest and then two men chase the police van on bike. One of them shoots Chandan. In the hospital, Chandan tries to tell something to KD and signals something through his hands. He dies soon after. KD concludes that his clue was related to Victoria.
