why are indian tv and film makers so obsessed with copying everything from the west!...y not with some original storyline..
shows like pkyek and more recently ek hasina thi(heavily copied from Revenge)...are a major turn off...doing an official remake is one thing nd shamelessly copying is another

PKYEK was never original. It was a complete copy of twilight and the vampire diaries. Several scenes were direct copies from twilight. They even used the sound track!
And the picture of Maithali was a copy from The Vampire Diaries. The entire concept of her was from TVD.

That show was a joke. The actors did such lame acting. It was so overdramatic. Like why were the parents always whispering? LOL
And the drinking blood from those glasses XD

What irked me was the half Hindi, Half english. Half of them.couldn't even speak english properly.

coming to the this supposedly Hindi adaptation of TBD, when I read that they were planning it I was like didn't they already try that with pkyek. I mean that one was a good try and the actors suited the characters. this time I am not so sure. I wasn't sure the first time either.
and the fact that they are casting RR and Karan just made lose hope big time.

What kind of nonsense is this?! Why the hell can't they make something original? They ALWAYS copy from the West. No wonder India is still under developed 🤣Edited by Aishahh_24 - 9 years ago

That's the weirdest casting that I have ever heard of. Ratan Rajput the actress without any oomph factor (not even of an average's girl) is going to look so weird as a lead with 2 guys falling for her.

I wish they had casted an actress with better hair and a bit prettier. I have nothing against Ratan Rajput but I feel she is not suited for this role... BI BIG MISTAKE
