55.5N Kulasekara to Moeen AliFOUR, top edge but safe! Bouncer on the stumps, Ali hooks, but he was in no control of the shot

56.6Herath to J Root, 3 runs, glanced away to fine leg and that's Root's 5th Test fifty. Down the leg side and Root helps it away

Credit to Herath for tossing it up nicely, probably that teased Ali and he went for a booming drive. A pretty ugly shot, a bit of a wild hack aiming down the ground

His previous aggressive stroke against Herath was a well-timed slog sweep but there was no footwork here, playing away from his body and he nicks a straightforward catch to slip

Herath to Prior, no run, round the wicket. Flighted delivery on the off stump, Prior defends well off the front foot.

Sri Lanka have reviewed an LBW call against Prior. Was Prior outside the line of off stump? Did it bounce too much? No issues with Herath's footing. Well, looks like a good review! The impact looks to be on the off stump, hit on the back thigh pad. Hot-Spot does not spot an edge. Woo!

Root can accumulate but he doesn't dominate. He's not going to cause teams a rethink like, for example, a KP would do. Credit to Root for battling it out though - he's playing his game."

Matt Prior's last 10 innings against SL: scored 331 Runs and Rangana Herath got him out in 4 Times. Can he do it today?"

70.6Eranga to J Root, FOUR, another fine hit from Root. Full and shaping away outside off stump, Root leans forward and drives off the front foot, the ball goes to the left of backward point and into the fence
70.5Eranga to J Root, FOUR, poor ball. Short and wide outside off stump, Root rocks back and cuts it away nicely in front of square on the off-side
