In todays busy life, this is the only place which remains calm-the sea. And I love it here. This habit of mine started from my college days. And who am i? one of india's leading businessman and the world wait for hours to meet me. And me here on the beach watching the waves. My brother says iam mad to spend hours at the beach doing nothing. But it is releases all my tensions.
Well the world think differently. But not her. I have seen her here watching the sea. Its just the two of us at the beach at this time. She stands closer to the water than me, to mention a difference. I havn't seen her face but her long wavy hair is so beautiful. She always stands at the same spot w/o any movement. I wonder what she must b thinking but I hav no clue.
Today was a hectic day n I went 2 my fav spot. But she wasn't there 2day. I wanted 2 see her, don't know why? I wanted 2 know what happened 2 her, don't know what? Wondering where was she was I looked around n heard a voice.
"are u looking 4 me?"
I turned around:"who r u?n why would I look 4 u?"
She sat near me:"I thought u know me. U see me everyday day"
I was confused:"r u the one ..."
"yes I am the one who stands there everyday"
"oh!"
Today was the first time I saw her face. N I was lost in her. Her eyes told a thousand stories. She was a flawless beauty with a calm face.
"xcuse me, why r u staring?"she waved her hand.
"no I was just.."
"just what? I know men like .."
"you r beautiful"
"what?"
"nothing..i mean.. sea.. it is beautiful"
"right"
There was a long silence. Breaking it he asked.
"what r u doing here?"
"same thing u doing here"
"you r good with words"
She glared at him "thanks"
There was a pause. She then continued.
"sea is so calm. It feel so relieved"
"yes. Btw u stay here 4 long?"
"uhhh I don't know the time passing when iam here. I go when I feel like. And yes that's almost when u leave."
"you hav seen me?"
"fcourse I do hav eyes"
He smiled. She joined him. They looked at each other n was lost in each other, no one knows 4 how long. Suddenly his phone rang n he picked it up"hello...im coming". He continued"well I have to go. My princess needs.."and turned to her. She wasn't there. He looked around but she was nowhere. He left as his princess wont wait 4 long.
He reached home. His brother was in the hall."Bro, where were u,plz handle ur princess shes in her room"
He went to her room n saw her on the bed weeping. He sat near her "what happened?"
She hugged him "i cant sleep. So i hugged moms pic but still cant sleep"
He smiled at his 7 yr old daughter "u r juz lyk ur mom. She too cried wen she cant sleep"
"really dad? Is she watching me from heaven?"
"yes now close ur eyes im here"
After she slept he took the pic she was hugging. Those eyes still said a thousand stories just like they had when he first met her. He murmured "i miss u".
