Suvreen was randomly moving here and there in her room with her earplugs on her ears.She only seemed to be in her world where she's dancing along the tunes of the songs.And suddenly a call came.
Suvreen-"Aree yaar...kaun hai abhi"
She opened her eyes to see the caller.She first smiled seeing the caller ID and then jumped.
"O...Omg...Yuvraj...mar gayi!"
Half-heartedly she took the call.
Suvreen-"Hello??"
Yuvraj-"Kya kar rahi hai...yaad hai na...do din ke baad exams hai...aur tu"
Suvreen-"Aur main kya...padh hi toh rahi thi"
Yuvraj-"Ya right...main toh pagal ho gaya hun ki suvreen ki humshakal ko earphones lagakar nachte hue dekh raha tha"
Suvreen started to bite her nails-"Tumhe kaise pata...main padh rahi hun ok"
Yuvraj-"Nahi...filhaal toh apna nakhoon chaba rahi hai"
Suvreen was confused.
"Arre main jo kar rahi hun isse kaise pata chala...".Just then her eyes fell on the open window.
She went near it and saw Yuvraj.Yuvraj waved seeing Suvreen.
Suvreen-"Oye tum mere ghar ke saamne kya kar rahe ho?"
Yuvraj-"Time dekhi bhi hai...arre hamara study time hai yaar...har din yaad dilana padta hai"
Suvreen-"Study study study...mujhe nahi padhna yaar...kyu pareshaan kar rahe ho"
Yuvraj-"Auntyji ko andar aake bataun abhi...fir nahi padhne ka naam nahi legi"
Suvreen-"Na na na...mumma ko mat batana please...warna mera ek month ka pocket money cut"
Yuvraj from outside signaled her in an action and said-"Bataun??"
Suvreen nodded her head and folded her hands and said-"No please!!"
Suddenly MummaG comes out and sees Yuvraj.Yuvraj seeing her keep his phone in his pocket and greets MummaG.
"Namastey Auntyji"
MummaG-"Namastey beta...namastey...aao na andar... "
And they went into the house.Suvreen re-arranged her roon and sat down on her study table opening a book and pretending to be studying.
MummaG comes inside Suvi's room with Yuvraj.
MummaG-"Ab tum dono araam se padho baithke.Yuvraj beta isse ache se thoda samjhana ki padhe...ye toh padhai ke alwa hark am karti rehti hai"
Suvreen showed an irritated expression.
Suvreen-"Kya mumma padh hi toh rahi hun"
MummaG-"Haan haan sab Yuvraj ka kamal hai...issi ke wajah se pehli baar pichle exams mein Top 10 rankers main ayi thi tu..."
Yuvraj grinned and pulled his collar as if it was his credit.Suvreen got more irritated seeing this.
Suvreen-"Mumma...maine bhi toh mehnat kiya than a...sab iss Yuvraj ke wajah se thodi hai"
MummaG-"Acha thik...iss baar bhi aur acha karna ok.Acha main chalti...mujhe aur bhi kaam hai"
And with that MummaG left the room and closed the door.(not locked...only closed)
Suvreen-"Arre mumma...darwaza band kyu?"
MummaG-"Concentration power badhta hai isse...ab chup-chap padhai kar!" (Even my mom says that :P)
Yuvraj came near Suvreen's study table and looked at what she's reading.
Yuvraj-"Waah Suvreenji kitna mahan hain...book ko ulta karke padh rahe hain...waah waah" and he laughed out loud.
Suvreen-"Kya yaar...please...mujhe padhna nahi hai...iss study table ko dekh kar mera dum ghut ta hai..."
Yuvraj-"Acha...toh fir bed ke upar baithkar padhte hain"
Suvreen-"Mujhe nahi padhna please...itna toh padh chuke hain...pichle month se revision kar rahe hain"
Suvreen took her books and sat on the bed frowning.Yuvraj smiled and went and sat on the bed.
Yuvraj-"Par exams aa rahe hain na Suvi..."
Suvreen-"So?Tum kaise boyfriend ho?Aur koi hota toh kehta chalo film dekhne chalte hain!"
Yuvraj-"Par ye tumhari last year hai...aur mujhe teri career ka chinta bhi toh hai...samajh baat ko...tujhe job nahi milegi toh Uncle-auntyji ko tension aa jayega..."
Suvreen understood and realized what he was saying was true.She smiled realizing that Yuvraj wasn't like all other boyfriends who only want their girlfriends all to themselves and didn't care for their future or family.She leaned forward and hugged Yuvraj with all his might as he was very precious to her.
Yuvraj was a little shocked due to her sudden reaction.Then he hugged her back and heard her say-"Tum world ke bestest boyfriend ho...jisse meri family aur meri future ka khyaal bhi hai".She sat back and gave a big smile.Yuvraj also smiled back.
Yuvraj-"Acha?Kitna best?"
Suvreen spread her arms wide like a baby and said-"Itna best..."
Yuvraj laughed at his pagal angel.
Suvreen-"Ok mere boyfriend plus teacher...padhai shuru karte hain."
Yuvraj nodded.
For an hour they studied.Yuvraj asked Suvreen questions and explained her when she couldn't understand some parts.Suvreen repeatedly asked questions even if she knew the answer.After an hour she was bored.Studying long wasn't her cup of tea!
Suvreen-"Ab bas karo na...break time!"
Yuvraj-"Kya breaktime...abhi toh shuru hua tha"
Suvreen-"Please...do minute ke liye"
Yuvraj-"No...revise karo lessons"
Suvreen sadly became silent.Then an idea struck her mind.She continuously stared at Yuvraj.Yuvraj saw her staring at him.
Yuvraj-"Mujhe kyun dekh rahi hai...concentrate!"
Suvreen-"Main concentrate kaise karu jab itna handsome ladka mere saamne baitha ho"
Yuvraj mouth opened.
"Suvreen Guggal aap flirt karna kabse seekh gayi?"
Suvreen-"Jabse tumse pyaar kiya tabse"
Yuvraj shook his head and said-"Baad mein karlena flirt...Now study!"
Suvreen-"Theek hai ek game khelte hain...padhai walla game"
Yuvraj-"Ye kaunsi game hai?"
Suvreen-"Suno...hum dono ek dusre ko questions puchenge ek dusre ko...agar kisika answer galat nikla toh who dusre ko face pe kahin bhi kiss karega"
Yuvraj-"Kya?Ye kaisa game hai?Bilkul nahi...no!"
Suvreen-"Toh fir main nahi padhungi...exams bekaar jayengey fir mera career barbad..."
Yuvraj-"Kya kya karwaoge mujhse?Sirf padhai ke liye!"
Suvreen-"Bahot kuch karwaungi...abhi hi toh mauka hai...deal??"
Yuvraj-"Fine deal!...dekhna mera ek bhi galat nahi ayega..."
Suvreen-"Dekhte hain!"
The game started.Suvreen got the first question wrong.She happily kissed Yuvraj on his cheek.Then was Yuvraj's turn and Yuvraj got it correct.Suvreen spat out curses at him.Yuvraj teased her.Then Suvreen got the next question correct and danced.Then for the next Suvreen searched the book for 5 minutes to select a hard question.Finally she got it and Yuvraj failed to answer it.So he kissed her on her forehead.Suvreen again did her yayy' dance and said-"1 to 1".The game continued likewise and kisses being showered on cheeks,noses and foreheads.The score became 4 to 5.
Yuvraj was happy to know that Suvreen was really improving with only 5 mistaked from the 15 questions they had asked each other.The last of his question was there to be asked by Suvreen and as usual Suvreen took her own sweet time to select a hard question.
Suvreen atlast found her to-be-asked question and shooted it at Yuvraj.Yuraj confidently answered the question.
Suvreen-"Galat!"
Yuvraj-"Galat kaise?Maine padha tha...dekh book mein"
Suvreen-"Dekhti hun ruko"
Yuvraj-"Nahi tu de...main dekhta hu" and pulled the book from Suvreen
Suvreen-"Main dekhti hun na" and she pulled it back from him.
In a second the book was being pulled by both and atlast it tore into two halves.Both looked wide-mouthed at the book and then at each other.They could not help but laugh.
Yuvraj-"Waah Suvreen...humne itna padha ki book bhi phatt gayi"
Suvreen-"Chup raho...ab isse stich karma padega"
Another half-an-hour they repaired the book together laughing,fighting and continuing their crazy nok-jhoks.
This was not intended to be written.Just a random thought.Hehehe...I laughed while writing this...hope you all will laugh too!
